
Defense Ministry official visits South Korea, aims to enhance mutual expertise
On the sidelines of the meeting, Lieutenant General Al Alawi visited Sacheon Air Base, where he toured the prototype of the KF-21 aircraft.
He also participated in a joint flight alongside Lieutenant General Lee Young Soo, Chief of Staff of the Korean Air Force, aboard an FA-50 fighter jet, as part of a demonstration of the national capabilities of locally manufactured Korean aircraft.
This official participation by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Defense is part of a visit by a high-level Emirati delegation to the Republic of Korea.
The visit includes several meetings and events aimed at enhancing defense cooperation and exchanging expertise in areas of mutual interest.
