
Passenger Arrested at Mumbai Airport for Smuggling Exotic Wildlife from Bangkok
Acting on a specific tip-off, the officials detained one passenger identified as Sharukkhan Hassian, who arrived from Bangkok. A search of his dark grey trolley bag led to the recovery of two Kinkajous, two Pygmy Marmosets, and fifty Albino Red-Eared Sliders. All animals were found alive and concealed inside the baggage. 2 booked for making reel of stunt on auto rickshaw in Navi Mumbai
NAVI MUMBAI: Turbhe police have booked two men for performing stunt in a moving auto rickshaw, wherein one of them is sitting atop the auto rickshaw, without a driver and the other person making a reel on the service road in Khairane MIDC near fire brigade abut the Thane-Belapur road on Saturday past midnight around 12.30 am. Abasaheb Patil, senior inspector of Turbhe informed that, the duo accused identified as Shamshud Ahmed (27) is a mechanic who performed the stunt by sitting atop the auto rickshaw without the driver while the auto driver Akshay Dhotre (26) made the reel. We learnt about the stunt after it was posted on Instagram by the accused. From the auto rickshaw's registration number, the duo accused were traced and detained. They were booked under relevant sections of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for rash or negligent driving or riding on a public way, act endangering human life or personal safety and abetment along with Motor Vehicle Act for dangerous driving. They have been served with a notice under Bharatiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita. The duo accused apologised for performing such stunt, promised that they won't repeat it and appealed to others not to perform such stunts to avoid legal action. 'I Was Angry With Her': Man Who Killed Wife, 2 Daughters In Delhi's Karawal Nagar

On the day of Rakshabandhan, when everyone was in a festive mood, a gruesome triple murder took place in Delhi's Karawal Nagar. A man allegedly killed his wife and two daughters by strangling them. The police have arrested the absconding man and they suspect that he tried to take his life as well. As per the police, a domestic altercation between the husband and wife led to this horrific incident. As per a report by Times Of India, the accused husband told the police that he was angry with his wife. 33-year-old Pradeep Kumar killed his wife, Jayshree, and two minor daughters aged 5 and 8 years in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Colony in northeast Delhi's Karawal Nagar. The incident occurred at around 7 am on Saturday. The TOI report mentions that both husband and wife got into an argument over wife urging to go to her marital home on the Rakshabandhan. After murdering his family, Kumar fled and police began the search. Upon checking the CCTV footage and surveillance, he was located in Mukund Vihar and arrested. Lucknow man arrested for sexually abusing stray dog
Representative Image NEW DELHI: Police in Lucknow have arrested a 24-year-old man for allegedly sexually abusing a stray dog in the city's Patrakarpuram area. According to news agency PTI, the incident took place on Thursday night under Gomti Nagar police station limits and came to light after a video of the act began circulating on social media the following day. According to police, representatives of a local NGO lodged a complaint after seeing the footage. "The accused was identified as Sonu Vishwakarma, a resident of the Vinay Khand area, and arrested on Saturday following an investigation," an officer from Gomti Nagar police station told PTI. Police said the accused appeared to be 'mentally unstable' based on preliminary observations. A case has been registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act. Legal proceedings are ongoing.
