McBurnie set for Hull talks
Hull City are reportedly hoping to make a breakthrough in their pursuit of striker Oliver McBurnie this week, with the forward set to hold talks with Sergej Jakirovic.
According to our colleagues at Hull Live, the Tigers have been in discussions with the Scotland international since his departure from Las Palmas, following the Spanish side's relegation from La Liga.

The same report claims those talks have been positive, despite alleged interest from former club Sheffield United.
Should the Blades part with boss Chris Wilder, the chances of a return to Bramall Lane are viewed as unlikely.

Swansea have also held a tentative interest in the striker this summer, although at the time of writing there hasn't been any sort of approach.
It now seems that Hull are reasonably well placed to get a deal done, and it's believed a financial package between the two parties has been 'broadly agreed'
Norwich confident over Darling
Norwich City are reportedly growing increasingly confident of securing a deal for out-of-contract Swansea star Harry Darling.
A number of sides have expressed an interest in the 25-year-old, who's just confirmed he will be leaving the club.
As well as the Canaries, Birmingham City, Wrexham, Sheffield United, and Rangers have all expressed an interest over the last few weeks.
Swansea have improved their squad with the arrival of Cameron Burgess on a free transfer from Ipswich Town, however.
And Norfolk-based publication The Pink 'Un now claims Norwich, under the leadership of Darling's former boss Liam Manning, are leading the race.
The report claims that while a deal hasn't yet been signed, the club are "in the process of finalising a deal that will see them secure his services".
Fan forum raises thousands for charity
Swansea City have confirmed their recent fans' forum and charity fundraising evening raised £4,000 for charity.
The amount, which was raised during the event at Camarthen Town last week, will be split between Swansea Bay Health Charity's Cwtsh Clos appeal and The GO Jones Scholarship.
Supporters raised £1,645 on the night, while Swansea City Supporters Trust Chair Dave Dalton contributed an additional £1,000, with an additional £1,355 donated by Swansea Building Society.
'It's been a fantastic evening, and has raised some great money for two really good charitable causes as well,' said Paul Ashley-Jones Carmarthen Town AFC communities director. Sign up to our Swansea City newsletter here.

'The scholarship funds academy places for disadvantaged children, and the money raised tonight will help fund a large number of places next season and we're delighted.'
Swansea City Supporters' Trust Chair, Dave Dalton, added: "It's been great to help arrange this event on behalf of Carmarthen Town. It's something the Trust are always looking to do more of as it undoubtedly helps supporters feel a closer connection to the club and directly ask questions that are important to them.
"To be able to add a fundraising element to the forum worked amazingly well too and to be able to raise £4,000 with the help of everyone who attended plus the generosity of Alun Williams and the Swansea Building Society made it an evening to remember."

Season ticket holders who choose to go will have their travel and ticket paid for, the club said on their website, while they pledged that those who cannot go, or do not wish to go, will receive a 20 per cent discount on the total cost of their season ticket. Why Barcelona women's team is being GUTTED to help balance the books for the men's side - with a 14th player 'set to depart' this transfer window
Barcelona 's women's team is being gutted because of the financial meltdown suffered by the club - including the men. Barca Femini are set to enter the season with just 17 first-team players due to the economic turmoil surrounding the club. The men's team have struggled to register players since 2020 and, in June, The Times revealed that Barca had breached UEFA's Financial Fair Play rules for the second successive year. And LaLiga has a rule whereby the budgets for the women's and youth teams are counted alongside the men's in the balance for financial restrictions. Barcelona have protested against this rule but, with it still in effect, president Joan Laporta has taken to slashing the women's team to free up funds for the men. The latest revelation, via El Periodico, is that Jana Fernandez, who has won 15 trophies with the club, is seeing her contract terminated to free up salary space. There are fears the likes of Alexis Putellas (left) and Mapi Leon (right) could leave next year when their contracts expire Fernandez, a Spain international, will leave one of the world's most successful women's clubs and looks poised to sign for newly promoted WSL side London City Lionesses. The academy graduate is not alone. Fourteen players have left Barcelona Femini this summer - 12 of them permanently - while only two signings have been made: a loan and a free transfer. According to El Periodico, there is 'concern' for the future of the women's team and its long-term viability at the top level. That's because nine more players are out of contract next summer - including major stars such as Alexia Putellas or Mapi Leon - and there is a growing trend of not replacing the departures. All of this is stemming from the extreme financial pressures which are burdening the club. The women's team are feeling the squeeze and reportedly need to make £0.68million in savings, but the men's team are interlinked and heavily affected. For example, in January Hansi Flick's side came close to losing two of their standout stars - Dani Olmo and Pau Victor - and were only allowed to re-register the players after selling 475 VIP seats in their renovated Nou Camp to a number of Middle Eastern investors. The deals that stretch across 30 years were said to have added £84m to the club's finances, allowing them to balance their books. That wasn't even the first time Barcelona have been in the situation. In the summer of 2022, the club raised over £700m by pilling 'levers', which involved selling stakes in the club's future business. That came just a year after club legend and footballing icon Lionel Messi left due to his salary not fitting in with the league's new salary cap. In July 2023, meanwhile, it was reported that Barcelona were set to pull their last economic lever by selling another stake in Barca Studios.
