2025 Dynasty Rookie Draft Rankings: Jack Bech
Jack Bech is a name that is starting to be very well known in 2025 dynasty rookie rankings. Despite going to a smaller school in TCU, Bech was able to turn heads at the 2025 Senior Bowl. Bech started to rise up draft boards after the event and was even named MVP of the Senior Bowl game.
When you look at his stats, there's a lot to love from 2024. Below, we'll be diving into Bech's entire profile and how he should be valued in dynasty rookie drafts.
Early in his career, Bech played at LSU alongside some other top talent. As a true freshman, Bech had more receiving yards than Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. While Bech would fail to have more than 400 yards again until his senior year, it's an extremely impressive accomplishment.
Bech wouldn't produce much until his second year at TCU. In his senior season, Bech dominated, catching 62 passes for 1,034 yards and nine touchdowns.
On film, Bech shows fantastic hands, strength and route running. While Bech doesn't have amazing speed, his nuanced route running makes up for it.

It seems like Bech should be taken in the mid-second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. There are some athleticism concerns that will prevent Bech from going higher, but getting him in round two is a great addition. Bech doesn't have the ceiling to become an alpha WR1, but he can certainly be a very good WR2.
NFL Mock Draft Database has Bech with a consensus rank of 63rd overall right now (Round two). The study for draft capital among wide receivers is quite interesting. The post linked here shows that wide receivers drafted in round two have a 20% chance to become a WR1 and a 29% chance of to become a WR2.
Prior to the NFL Draft, Bech is currently the WR8 in my 2025 dynasty rookie rankings. That places him 22nd in Superflex formats and 21st for a 1QB format. While Bech has shown a ton of good traits, he has a few red flags.
Bech's late breakout at a small school and the fact that he's limited athletically are both problems. Nonetheless, I feel great taking Bech in round two.

Aaron Rodgers on Roman Wilson: Steelers are 'Going to Hold Him to High Standard'
National Football League Aaron Rodgers on Roman Wilson: Steelers are 'Going to Hold Him to High Standard' Published Aug. 20, 2025 12:12 p.m. ET share facebook x reddit link Second-year Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Roman Wilson is turning heads this summer, and that includes the one who will be throwing him passes. "I think he's improving every day. You can't skew the results from the details. You look at his game the other night, he made a couple splash plays. But we're going to coach him hard," Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers said about Wilson on Tuesday, according to Pro Football Talk. "His receiver coach, [offensive coordinator] Art [Smith], and myself on the details, because the details are what make the difference. And even though he had a couple of big plays, there's some room for improvement there. "Wouldn't say anything if we just thought he was going to be a guy, just any guy that you could throw in. But I think he has a chance to be a big-time talent in the league. So, we're going to hold him to a high standard. I'm really happy with him, the way he's played. But we're going to hold him to a standard of excellence that I think he's capable of reaching." After reeling in each of his two targets for 24 yards in Pittsburgh's Week 1 preseason matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Wilson tallied two receptions once more in its Week 2 preseason matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with them going for a combined 72 yards, those being 42- and 30-yard pickups. Wilson only appeared in one game in his 2024 rookie campaign due to ankle and hamstring injuries. Pittsburgh selected the receiver with the No. 84 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft out of Michigan, whom he helped win the National Championship in his 2023 senior season. ADVERTISEMENT In said championship season (2023), Wilson totaled 48 receptions for 789 yards (16.4 yards per reception) and 12 touchdowns, leading the Wolverines in all four categories. Wilson is part of a Steelers wide receiver room that now includes two-time Pro Bowler DK Metcalf and veteran Robert Woods; Pittsburgh traded previous No. 1 receiver George Pickens to the Dallas Cowboys in May. Wilson is also joined by wide receiver Calvin Austin III, among others. The 41-year-old Rodgers, a four-time NFL MVP, signed a one-year deal with the Steelers in June after spending the previous two seasons with the New York Jets (2023-24). Last season, Rodgers totaled 3,897 passing yards, 28 passing touchdowns, 11 interceptions and a 90.5 passer rating, while completing 63.0% of his passes. Rodgers, Wilson and the Steelers close out their 2025 preseason on the road against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday night and, ironically, open their regular season on the road against the Jets, who now have Justin Fields under center – Fields made six starts for Pittsburgh last season – on Sept. 7. Lakers coach: Luka Doncic's fitness is 'work in progress'
One of the biggest storylines for the Los Angeles Lakers this offseason and heading into the 2025-26 campaign is Luka Doncic's physical transformation. After being criticized for being fat and out of shape over the last few years, he got in the lab this summer and got into dramatically better shape. He has reportedly dropped 30 pounds since last summer, and he has played very well for his native Slovenia during a few recent tune-up games in advance of EuroBasket 2025. However, he will have to continue to be fully committed to his health and fitness for him to fully tap into his vast potential in the years to come. Lakers assistant coach Greg St. Jean knows that Doncic still has room for improvement. St. Jean is currently with the Slovenian national team, which means he has seen the superstar in an up-close and personal way lately, and he said Doncic can still get better this summer. Via BasketNews: "I think it's still a work in progress," St. Jean told BasketNews. "I think the summer's not over yet. And he's going to continue to get better. I think we'll continue to see as he gets more in-game shape with some rhythm. "He's been doing a lot of training, and now he's going to be playing five-on-five competition. His game last week [the conversation took place on Friday] was the first time he's played five-on-five in a long time. "So it's a work in progress. We'll continue to see him play more and more, and as the tournament progresses, and then getting ready for the Lakers season," the Lakers coach continued. St. Jean wants to see the 26-year-old continue to head forward on the path he's currently on. "I think he's done a fantastic job working hard the entire summer. And that's something that we're going to wait and see. But that's the goal, right, is for him to continue to be able to push and play," he said. "He's somebody who plays a lot of heavy minutes, and he carries a heavy load. So that's going to be important for him as he continues to improve his conditioning. But we're really proud of him and he's done a great job so far," St. Jean concluded. Despite being out of shape and a bit hobbled last season, Doncic still put up 28.2 points, 8.1 rebounds and 7.5 assists a game after being traded to the Lakers. Several people across the league have said recently that they feel the Slovenian native is poised to have an MVP-caliber season and possibly even win the award.

Google says Steph Curry will use its AI to get better at basketball
Google has announced a multi-year partnership with Steph Curry at its Made by Google event, and as part of that team-up, it says the NBA superstar will use AI from Google Cloud to improve his performance on the court. Yep, the company is claiming that Google Cloud AI can help the four-time NBA champ, two-time MVP and two-time scoring champion get even better at basketball. According to the company, AI insights can analyze his shot quality as well as sharpen his workout plans. Google's AI Basketball Coach experience, its AI experiment that turns Gemini into a jump shot coach with help from Pixel cameras, will also analyze his form and give him visual feedback. The basketball icon already tried out AI Basketball Coach during Curry Camp, his three-day basketball camp where he mentors 30 student athletes from across the US. "Through interactive demos and challenges, the next generation of athletes learned how our technology can help them elevate their game," Google said. Curry's partnership with Google goes beyond using AI to make him even better at his sport, though. Google is officially calling him a "Performance Advisor," and he and his team will actively work with the company's health experts and product and AI engineers to help shape the future of Google Health and upcoming Fitbit models. The athlete's team will be testing Google's personal health coach and giving the company feedback on how to improve its ability to create tailored advice for each individual. They will be using Pixel phones, watches and buds, as well. Their input, Google said, will be used to "fine-tune products, train algorithms and design future product experiences."
