2025 Dynasty Rookie Draft Rankings: Jack Bech

Jack Bech is a name that is starting to be very well known in 2025 dynasty rookie rankings. Despite going to a smaller school in TCU, Bech was able to turn heads at the 2025 Senior Bowl. Bech started to rise up draft boards after the event and was even named MVP of the Senior Bowl game.
When you look at his stats, there's a lot to love from 2024. Below, we'll be diving into Bech's entire profile and how he should be valued in dynasty rookie drafts.
Early in his career, Bech played at LSU alongside some other top talent. As a true freshman, Bech had more receiving yards than Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. While Bech would fail to have more than 400 yards again until his senior year, it's an extremely impressive accomplishment.
Bech wouldn't produce much until his second year at TCU. In his senior season, Bech dominated, catching 62 passes for 1,034 yards and nine touchdowns.
On film, Bech shows fantastic hands, strength and route running. While Bech doesn't have amazing speed, his nuanced route running makes up for it.

It seems like Bech should be taken in the mid-second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. There are some athleticism concerns that will prevent Bech from going higher, but getting him in round two is a great addition. Bech doesn't have the ceiling to become an alpha WR1, but he can certainly be a very good WR2.
NFL Mock Draft Database has Bech with a consensus rank of 63rd overall right now (Round two). The study for draft capital among wide receivers is quite interesting. The post linked here shows that wide receivers drafted in round two have a 20% chance to become a WR1 and a 29% chance of to become a WR2.
Prior to the NFL Draft, Bech is currently the WR8 in my 2025 dynasty rookie rankings. That places him 22nd in Superflex formats and 21st for a 1QB format. While Bech has shown a ton of good traits, he has a few red flags.
Bech's late breakout at a small school and the fact that he's limited athletically are both problems. Nonetheless, I feel great taking Bech in round two.

Countdown to Kickoff: Moochie Dixon is the Saints Player of Day 84
Countdown to Kickoff: Moochie Dixon is the Saints Player of Day 84 Dixon may be the next undrafted find by New Orleans at wide receiver Today marks 84 days before the 2025 season opener for the New Orleans Saints. New Orleans will take on the Arizona Cardinals to start their 59th NFL season, first under new head coach Kellen Moore. Wearing number 84 for the Saints currently is Moochie Dixon, an undrafted rookie receiver. Dixon could become the 20th player to wear No. 84 for the Saints in the regular season. He's also trying to become the latest undrafted find by New Orleans at this position, as we take a closer look at our Saints Player of the Day. Name (age): Kelvontay "Moochie" Dixon (23) Kelvontay "Moochie" Dixon (23) Hometown: Carthage, Texas Carthage, Texas Position: Wide receiver Wide receiver Height, weight: 6-foot, 189 pounds 6-foot, 189 pounds College: SMU Mustangs SMU Mustangs Relative Athletic Score: 6.43 6.43 Drafted: Undrafted, 2025 (New Orleans Saints) Undrafted, 2025 (New Orleans Saints) NFL experience: Rookie Rookie 2025 salary cap hit: $843,333 At Carthage High School in Texas, Moochie Dixon was the MVP of his district and an honorable mention all-state selection. He'd keep his talents close to home by committing to the University of Texas. As a freshman and sophomore with the Longhorns, Dixon was a lightly used reserve that caught 12 passes for 176 yards. However, one went for a 73-yard touchdown in the Alamo Bowl. At the conclusion of the 2021 campaign, Dixon transferred to Southern Methodist University. In 2022, his first year at SMU, Dixon had 26 receptions for 377 yards and 3 scores. He followed that up with 25 catches for a career-best 441 yards with 4 touchdowns the next year. As a senior, Dixon caught 21 balls for 386 yards for the Mustangs. He had only one score, but it was an 87-yard touchdown against Stanford. Over his three years with SMU, Dixon averaged nearly 17 yards per reception. The Saints signed Dixon after he was not selected in the draft this spring. A thinly built receiver, there is some question how effective Dixon will be in heavy traffic or against physical NFL defensive backs. However, he displayed excellent speed and big-play ability throughout his college career. At pre-draft workouts, Dixon turned in an impressive 40 time of 4.38 seconds. Moochie Dixon has his hands full to make the New Orleans roster. The Saints already have three explosive playmakers in Rashid Shaheed, Chris Olave, and Brandin Cooks along with up-and-coming second-year wideout Bub Means and veteran Donovan Peoples-Jones. Dixon will also have competition from fellow undrafted playmaker Chris Tyree. This is not to rule him out. The Saints have struck gold with undrafted wideouts several times. With a strong camp and preseason, Dixon could possibly add his name to that list.

Shohei Ohtani snaps long ball drought with two dingers, now has 250 career homers
LOS ANGELES — Shohei Ohtani had never gone 10 games without hitting a homer for the Los Angeles Dodgers until this month. The three-time MVP ended his drought Saturday night — and then started making up for lost time. Advertisement Ohtani hit two homers against the Giants, emphatically reaching 25 homers for the fifth consecutive season during Los Angeles' 11-5 victory over San Francisco. He also now has 250 career homers. Ohtani led off the game with his 24th, hammering Landen Roupp's fourth pitch 419 feet deep into the right-field bleachers with an exit velocity of 110.3 mph. Advertisement The slugger had gone 10 for 40 with no RBIs since his most recent homer June 2 — although he still had an eight-game hitting streak during his power outage. 'It did feel like I hadn't hit a homer in a while,' Ohtani said through his interpreter. 'In terms of the context of the two homers, I think the first homer was more significant, just being able to score early in the game.' Ohtani then led off the sixth with his 25th homer, sending Tristan Beck's breaking ball outside the strike zone into the bleachers in right. Dodgers fans brought him home with a standing ovation for his third multihomer game of the season and the 22nd of his career. Advertisement 3 Shohei Ohtani belts a solo homer in the sixth inning, his second of the game, in the Dodgers' 11-5 win over the Giants on June 14, 2025. AP He also moved one homer behind the Yankees' Aaron Judge and Seattle's Cal Raleigh for the overall major league lead. 'I didn't realize that,' Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said when informed of Ohtani's homer drought. 'He has a way of making up for things and leveling things out, so hitting two homers tonight gets him, I guess, back on track. … I think it seemed like a while. I think there was a lot of chase down below in the last 10 days, so tonight he got the ball up, used the big part of the field and put some big swings together. But yeah, when he goes, it makes life a lot easier for all of us.' Ohtani had slowed down a bit over the past two weeks since he was named the NL Player of the Month for May, racking up 15 homers and 28 RBIs. Advertisement He was back in formidable form against the Giants: Ohtani reached base four times and scored three runs in his first four at-bats, drawing two walks to go with his two homers. 3 Shohei Ohtani celebrates with third base coach coach Dino Ebel after a solo homer in the sixth inning, his second of the night, in the Dodgers' win over the Giants. AP Ohtani hadn't played in 10 straight games without hitting a homer since 2023 in the final 10 games of his six-year tenure with the Los Angeles Angels. He has hit at least 34 homers and driven in at least 95 runs in the past four consecutive seasons. While his OPS (1.023) is nearly identical to last year's effort, Ohtani is behind the pace in several statistical categories compared to last season, when he became the first player to record 50 homers and 50 stolen bases before the Dodgers won his first World Series title. Most notably, Ohtani has only 41 RBIs in 69 games this season after driving in 130 runs in 159 games last year. 3 Shohei Ohtani blasts a solo homer, the first of his two long balls, during the first inning of the Dodgers' win over the Giants. AP But the two-way superstar doesn't believe his numbers at the plate are due to his increased workload on the mound as he prepares to pitch for the first time since 2023. Advertisement Ohtani threw three simulated innings in San Diego last Tuesday, and Roberts has said there's now a chance Ohtani will pitch in a game before the All-Star break in mid-July. 'The live BP is really an important part of the progression,' Ohtani said. 'The intensity is different, so how that feels to my body is going to be different as well, but it's something that I do have to go through to make sure that my body feels right.' Ohtani remains firmly committed to resuming his career as a pitcher. Advertisement The Dodgers have always been supportive, despite his value as a designated hitter — and they also could really use his talents now to help out a staff that had 14 pitchers on the injured list to begin the week. 'I do feel like just being the two-way player that I used to be was the norm,' Ohtani said when asked if his two-way work this season is tough on him. 'So last year really was the abnormal year. For me, it's just about getting back to what I used to do.'
