Man viciously attacked in suspected hate crime in Inglewood; suspect sought
INGLEWOOD, Calif. - Authorities are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect in connection with a possible hate crime in Inglewood.
What we know
According to police, the incident happened on Tuesday, April 15 in the 200 block of W. Hyde Park.
Officials said the suspect approached the victim, punching him repeatedly in the head and face while shouting racial slurs. The victim fell to the ground and was further assaulted.
The suspect attempted to stab the victim but failed, fleeing west on Hyde Park Boulevard.
The victim suffered facial fractures and an eye laceration, and his house keys were stolen during the attack.
The suspect is described as a man, aged 30-40, approximately 6'00" tall and weighing 200 lbs.
He was wearing a green hooded pullover sweatshirt, black face mask, green sweatpants, black gloves, and white and green Nike shoes. Notable features include a tattoo on his stomach and a mole between his left eye and nose.
The suspect may be associated with a 2008-2012 silver/blue/green Chevrolet Malibu with tinted rear windows.

E-fit image released after man's body discovered on Somerset beach
An e-fit image has been released in a bid to identify a man whose body was discovered on a Somerset beach last year. The body, of a man believed to be aged in his 40s or 50s, was discovered at Lilstock Beach, near Bridgwater, Somerset, on December 28. Earlier this year, Avon and Somerset Police launched an appeal to identify the man but this has not yet proved successful. Detectives have now created an e-fit image of the man, whose body is believed to have washed up after being in the water for between one and five days. His death is not believed to be suspicious. Detective Inspector George Pettingell, of Avon and Somerset Police, said: 'We hope that this image might be the key to helping us identify this man and importantly be able to update any family and friends. 'Forensic and DNA inquiries have established the man is likely of either Croatian or Bosnian heritage. 'He is also white, of large build and estimated to be aged in his 40s or 50s. 'He had a shaved head and was wearing a black jacket, black jumper, red trousers and black Nike trainers. 'We've been in contact with neighbouring forces but still so far have been unable to establish his identity. 'If you think you might know who this man is based off this information and the e-fit image, please contact us.' Wichita Falls police arrest Dallas man accused of multiple thefts
WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — A Dallas man faces a felony charge for allegedly stealing from or attempting to steal from several shops in Wichita Falls. On Monday, June 9, at 3:56 p.m., Wichita Falls police were sent to the 3100 block of Midwestern Parkway at Metro by T-Mobile for a man who had reportedly entered the store and attempted to steal a phone. When the officers arrived, they spoke with the manager, who said a bearded black man in a black shirt was in the store, hanging around the iPhones. The manager said when he walked away from the suspect, the man tried to steal the display phone, but he was unsuccessful and left the store to the west. Police said that while they were checking the area, they were informed about the same man allegedly stealing a display phone from the Verizon store in the 3200 block of Midwestern Parkway, Suite 100. Officers said they spoke with the manager, who provided the same description of the suspect as the previous manager. This time, the suspect is alleged to have entered the store, pulled a Samsung Galaxy A16 display cell phone from the mount, and left the store. The phone was valued at $199.99. Officers said they were then waved down by someone who reported the same man described in the two previous incidents allegedly attempted to steal money from the register at Jimmy John's, located in the 3200 block of Midwestern Parkway, Suite 300. Police said they spoke with the employees, who reported the man attempted to take money from a customer who was placing a catering order. Still, the customer stated the suspect did not receive any money. Officers said they found a man matching the description, who was carrying a black and white Nike backpack, walking westbound in the 4000 block of Call Field Road. Police said they attempted to coax the man to come to them, but he continued walking away from them. When the man was threatened with a taser, police said the man stopped walking, was placed in handcuffs and identified as Glenn Earl Thrash II by his driver's license. Authorities said the backpack he was carrying had a TJ Maxx price tag and security tag still attached, and he was also carrying a new Father's Day gift bag full of merchandise. Officers went to TJ Maxx to confirm the items were stolen, and police said store associates told them they saw Thrash pick up the Nike backpack and fill it with merchandise. They alleged he also took a Father's Day gift bag and filled it with merchandise. The TJ Maxx manager said the total value of the items taken was $193.89. When officers attempted to place Thrash in a police unit, they stated that he refused and had to be pulled in by an officer from the other side of the unit. Thrash was charged with theft of property over $2,500 with two or more convictions, resisting, and evading. A records check of Thrash shows he has two previous robbery convictions from 2024, both in Dallas County. At the time of publication, Thrash is still in jail with bonds totaling $54,000.
