Why some of The Apprentice 2025 stars are missing from the final
Some of The Apprentice candidates were a no-show when it came to the final on Thursday but did you manage to spot who was missing?
When the finalists fight for the £250,000 for their business, they enlist the help of the previous candidates from the series to help them put forward their case to Lord Sugar.
Dean Franklin and Anisa Khan rallied up their teams of old friends to help them show off their respective businesses, an air-conditioning company and a pizza company, to the businessman.
The two finalists had to pull off a TV advert, new branding, a business name, as well as a final pitch. They even appoint a sub team leader and split into two in the same vein of the earlier tasks in The Apprentice.
Although many fan favourites returned to the series, it won't have been lost on viewers that some candidates were not there supporting the finalists and cheering them on to the very last moment.
Joining Franklin and Khan to soft launch their businesses were: Amber-Rose Badrudin, Chisola Chitambala, Emma Street, Frederick Afrifa, Jonny Heaver, Jordan Dargan, Liam Snellin, Melica Moshiri, Mia Collins and Nadia Suliaman.
Yahoo understands that some candidates are unable to return due to work schedules while others are not invited back by the production team. Not everyone can make the cut for the final two teams so there will always be a few who miss out.
It is worth noting that while not everyone made it back for the final, the BBC did organise for all of the 2025 candidates to give their side of the story to Yahoo UK after being fired.
It won't be a surprise to those at home that cosmetic dentist Dr Jana Denzel was not present at the final. The Harley Street businessman had quit The Apprentice week five just moments before Lord Sugar was choosing who to fire. The dentist claimed it was what Lord Sugar said to him that led to him sensationally resign from the process.
He previously told Yahoo UK: "Task two, you don't see it, but Anisa [Khan] puts me in charge of negotiations. I overcome with objections, and I do all the work there for us to win the task. Task three is my best episode yet but I just get a 10-second camera feature; it was my best in negotiation and Liam put me in charge of doing negotiation there.
"So I felt that comment from Lord Sugar was just not accurate or truthful at all and I told myself, 'Look, you know what, a business partnership is like a marriage, you've got to be a great fit for both parties.'
"And at that point, if Lord Sugar can't see all the positive contributions I've made throughout the show, when all my candidates can, because it wasn't me that branded myself the king of negotiations, that was other candidates saying it in the boardroom to Lord Sugar, so when he said, 'You call yourself that', I did say, 'I don't, but OK'.
"I felt like if [Lord Sugar is] gonna say that 'I've been very quiet and you haven't seen anything from me' when I've been given 100% my whole time, I just don't think me and you are a great fit. So it was at the end of episode four where I already made up my decision to leave the process."
Naturally having chosen to leave because the process wasn't right for him, viewers won't have been expecting to see him back on our screens for the BBC show.
Former tennis player Max England failed to impress Lord Sugar in the TV selling task, meaning he walked away without investment in his paddle business just weeks before the final.
Out of the 2025 candidates missing the BBC show, England made it the furthest in the process.
When his time was up on the show, he told Yahoo that an important conversation with Lord Sugar was cut from TV scenes.
He previously told Yahoo UK: "In the boardroom by that point as well, we were also talking about business plans a little bit. We're far in the process, he starts looking at the business plans. Lord Sugar is interested in an existing business and that's not something that I provide for him at this stage — to the extent of say Dean or Chisola that were there in the boardroom.
"The conversations were really around how exciting the business plans were. For me, it's very much this is the area we need to go into and I'm confident with it, but I don't have an operating business to the same extent as those guys... I can live with that!"
Another fan favourite who was missing from the final was Keir Shave who made it to week seven of the process. He made an exit in a double firing alongside Frederick, who was back to help Anisa make her case for Lord Sugar.
He previously said of The Apprentice: "I'd definitely recommend going on The Apprentice; it's a unique experience. One thing that I learned is that you've got to go into it not thinking it's gonna be a walk in the park, because I think most people watch the series and think, 'God, these absolute idiots, why are they doing that?'
"And I'm gonna be honest — that was me. I was like, 'Jesus, I'm gonna go onto this and I'm gonna win it without even doing anything, right?' Take it with a pinch of salt. There's a lot of things that aren't shown, you do get time constraints, you do get limitations.
"The Apprentice is much harder than it looks, so I guess just be ready for that if you're going to go onto it but it's definitely a good experience."
The last three who weren't present in the final were the first out of The Apprentice: Emma Rothwell, Aoibheann Walsh and Carlos Brancati.
Rothwell previously told Yahoo UK of her time on The Apprentice: "If I could speak to Lord Sugar now, I would say, "Thank you so much for the opportunity. It was so lovely to meet you and I will see you when I'm also a billionaire!"
"That makes me sound so bigheaded. I went on to get investment and I came off The Apprentice having the weirdest holiday of my life. But it was phenomenal, such a great experience, I loved it."
Walsh also spoke to Yahoo UK when she was fired, previously saying: "What would I say to Lord Sugar now? I'd have said you made a massive mistake! But do you know what, I could have made him millions. I could have made him money whenever he slept. That would have been great — for both of us."
Elsewhere, hair transplant consultant Brancati previously told Yahoo UK when he was fired: "I don't know if this was an embarrassment thing because people do like to deflect, but Lord Sugar put that onto Tim (Campbell) in the show.
"He said maybe Tim needs a hair transplant, and I was thinking, you know Lord Sugar, you could do with a touch up yourself! To be fair, he has got great hair, but yeah, Lord Sugar could benefit from it, he could enhance his hair, 100%."
The Apprentice series 19 is streaming on BBC iPlayer now.

Kim Cattrall Perfectly Explained Why She Met Partner Russell Thomas at Just the Right Time
While fans of Kim Cattrall have watched her date countless men in her years on Sex and the City, it seems she's luckier in love than even Samantha herself. Cattrall has been dating her partner, British actor Russell Thomas, since 2016, and she's finally opening up about their love story. In a new interview with The Times UK, Cattrall gushed about her longtime love. 'He's had an incredibly interesting life and really done it on his terms,' she said of Thomas, who is 14 years her junior. 'He's a bit of a rebel, which I love.' More from SheKnows Why Kate Middleton Is No Longer Wearing Her Engagement Ring That Belonged to Princess Diana The two first met in England when she was recording for a BBC radio show. The two instantly clicked, and soon Thomas was traveling to Canada (where she lives) to see her. 'We've been together almost ten years now,' she looked back. 'And we've had a blast. We've just had so much fun.' Cattrall, who's also starred in shows like Glamorous and How I Met Your Father, then explained why her connection with Thomas came at just the right time. In her words, having him was an expected joy after her brother Christopher's death by suicide in 2018. He was 55. 'I think when someone dies from suicide, those around them think, 'Why didn't I see it? Why wasn't I there?' Or, 'How could I have been ignoring, in retrospect, signs that were clearly unhealthy?' But that was ultimately his choice,' she said. 'I had to accept that I couldn't change that destiny. That as much as I thought I could, and as powerful as I thought I was, I couldn't have prevented it.' 'I keep saying I wish I hadn't gone through all that,' she said of the loss. 'And then I thought to myself, well, if I hadn't gone through that, I wouldn't have met Russ.' 'So life has surprises and trade-offs,' she continued. 'It was a bad time, but I learned a tremendous amount. And at the other end of it was this incredible, fun playmate.' We're so glad Cattrall has someone by her side no matter what. The World Birth Rate Is Now Dropping Precipitously
Whoever wrote in the Book of Genesis "be fruitful and multiply" never accounted for the cost of children these days, especially when you factor in expenses like college tuition, sports, tutors, clothes and childcare. And that's one of the reasons why people are having less kids, according to new reporting from the BBC. A new paper from the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) has revealed that one in five adults in 14 countries don't have, or think they won't have, their preferred number of children, the BBC reports. About 14,000 people from across a wide range of income levels were surveyed in countries including the United States, South Africa, South Korea and Italy. "The world has begun an unprecedented decline in fertility rates," Natalia Kanem, UNFPA executive director, told the BBC. "Most people surveyed want two or more children. Fertility rates are falling in large part because many feel unable to create the families they want. And that is the real crisis." This jives with dire statistics that 76 percent of the world — 155 countries out of 204 — will have far fewer children being born by 2050. All these negative fertility replacement rates will likely have drastic and difficult-to-predict impacts on society and the world economy — in a worst case perhaps approaching something like the grim futuristic movie "Children of Men." The UNFPA report found that increased financial security would remove a lot of barriers to reproduction. Of those surveyed, "39 percent reported that financial limitations had affected or would affect their ability to realize their desired family size," the report read. "The real solution to the crisis of reproductive agency we are facing is to build a more equitable, sustainable and caring world that supports individuals to have the families they aspire to," the report continues. Other barriers to reproduction include that people feel their living expenses are too high, or that the world seems more dangerous or uncertain, especially in light of climate change and armed conflicts. (And that's without getting into the rise of AI, which industry leaders insist will soon take many human jobs.) Hopefully we can solve this huge issue. Princess Charlotte's Expected Role at Trooping the Colour Proves She's the Ultimate Big Sister
Princess Charlotte, 10, and the rest of the royal family are gearing up for Trooping the Colour on June 14 and fans are already expecting an important personal role for her. The middle child of Prince William and Kate Middleton is known to be the reliable rule-follower in the family — that means she will probably be helping Mom keep Prince Louis' adorable antics to a minimum. A royal source promised GB News that Charlotte loves playing the big sister role to her little brother. And if he misbehaves? More from SheKnows Kate Middleton's 2025 Trooping the Color Look Honors Both Princess Diana & Queen Elizabeth II 'Don't worry, his sister will do [take care of] that,' the palace insider confirmed. At Trooping the Colour in 2024, Charlotte was spotted helping Louis with royal protocol. She sweetly showed him how to hold his arms for the English National Anthem, but she also scolded him to 'stop' when he danced on the balcony. Charlotte takes her royal role very seriously. Princess Charlotte's 'strong character' is why her appearances will reportedly be ramped up this summer. Childrenswear designer Amaia Arrieta described the young royal to People as 'almost wise beyond her years.' 'She looks very confident and at ease with herself and the environment she's in,' she added. 'The maturity that comes with that responsibility—she seems to nail it every time.' Prince Louis, 7, has become known for his carefree, wild streak, something that royal fans don't necessarily see in Prince George, 11, or his younger sister. BBC royal correspondent Jennie Bond explained why there seems to be parenting differences with Louis. 'Being the youngest is often something of a privilege,' she told the Mirror. 'You get away with a lot more and you are that little bit special as the last-born.' 'Catherine probably lets Louis run wild more than she did with George. She and William are very experienced parents and I'm sure they love all three kids equally—but probably in different ways,' she added. 'George because he's the first-born and has a destiny to fulfill, Charlotte because she's the only girl, and Louis because he's the youngest.' So, Charlotte will likely step up and guide Prince Louise throughout the Trooping the Colour festivities as she shines as a leader in the royal family.
