Are you a hardcore Samsung fan looking for your next flip phone under $630? How about the Galaxy Z Flip 5 ? Sure, it's not the newest kid on the block, but you can now get it for nearly half off at Amazon. Yep, the ~$1,120 512GB model is down by $492, diving to its lowest price at the merchant. In case you're wondering, Amazon's promo is exclusive, meaning no merchant matches the current discount. In fact, the model is out of stock at the official store and Best Buy, while Walmart sells select models at significantly smaller markdowns. And let's be real: it's not every day you can score a Samsung foldable at nearly half price.Don't feel like settling for a 2023 flip phone? The latest Galaxy Z Flip 7 might be a good alternative, provided you have the right device to swap. Right now, the Android phone is up for pre-order for up to $720 off. The promo requires an eligible device trade-in and includes a free storage upgrade. In other words, you get it for as low as $499.99, but again — you'd have to spare an eligible device in good condition to save that much. But what makes the 2023-releasedworth considering, aside from its 44% markdown? Well, it has a premium design, a 3.4-inch Flex Screen, and a pretty good-looking 6.7-inch main display. As we've mentioned in our Galaxy Z Flip 5 review , the main display offers gorgeous colors and excellent viewing angles. Moreover, it gets sufficiently bright for a comfortable viewing experience outdoors.Since it's a somewhat older smartphone, this bad boy clearly doesn't arrive with the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. Instead, it packs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC under the hood, delivering a smooth and reliable daily experience and some potential for demanding tasks.Add decent camera performance and software support through Android 17 to the mix, and you've got a device that's well worth considering. While it's not the most impressive Samsung foldable to date, it's hard to ignore at 44% off. Get yours and save at Amazon or take advantage of Samsung's pre-order deal on thewhile it lasts.

Samsung Galaxy F56 gets disassembled on video

Samsung launched the Galaxy F56 back in May, and today the device is starring in a disassembly video. So if you've always wanted to take a look at its insides, this is definitely for you. It's not often that we get to see video teardowns of mid-rangers, so this should be interesting. As usual, we enter the phone through the back, removing the glass cover. Then it's a matter of unscrewing a lot of screws. The frame is plastic, the ports have rubber gaskets around them, and the battery comes off by removing a lot of adhesive. In the end, the F56 received a very good repairability score of 9 out of 10, where 10 would be most repairable and 0 would be least. It got top marks for parts availability, how easy it is to replace the battery, and how easy it is to replace other parts like the charging port and such. It only received 1.5 out of a total of 2 in two categories: the organization and time needed for repairs, and how easy it is to replace the screen. Had the innards been better organized and the screen easier to replace, the F56 would have gotten a perfect score, which really isn't something we see all that much.

OnePlus 15 might be released along with an even more exciting flagship-killer

(source in Chinese) OnePlus 13 OnePlus 13 Would you consider a OnePlus flagship smartphone? The device is rumored to feature the yet unannounced Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset, which will have the model number SM8850. The premiere of the 8 Elite 2 is expected in September, and the OnePlus 15 might be one of the first devices powered by it. OnePlus Ace 6 might be the more surprising device. According to the new leak, it'll be powered by a Qualcomm chipset with the model number SM8845. It is unclear which chip that might be, but it's likely the Snapdragon 8s Gen5. That chip might be released alongside the 8 Elite 2 and provide performance just below that of the original Snapdragon 8 Elite. Whatever its specs are, the OnePlus Ace 6 will likely serve as the base for a OnePlus 15R. The OnePlus 13R Review: The best flagship-killer from OnePlus is here I am quite excited about the OnePlus lineup, considering how good the various OnePlus 13 models were. If the company manages to introduce the right improvements, it could be the long-needed strong alternative to Apple and Samsung in the US. The OnePlus 13R , which was basically the global version of the OnePlus Ace 5, was so good that we called it 'the best flagship-killer' in our review. That's not the first time we have heard about the upcoming flagship. The OnePlus 15 is rumored to have a few apparent downgrades, compared to last year's. The less obvious one might be the new 6.78-inch 1.5K display, which may replace the 6.82-inch 2K screen of last year's striking might be the potential end of OnePlus' partnership with Hasselblad, which would lead to changes to the cameras. OnePlus is rumored to develop an in-house camera platform with different branding to replace the Hasselblad system. There's a rumor that the phone will have a battery with over 7,000 mAh capacity and 100W wired and wireless charging. Finally, there's a chance we see a OnePlus 15 Pro, though that one might be announced later in you're wondering why there's no OnePlus 14 , the company has skipped it. Currently, the iPhone 16 series includes five different variants. Apple has typically kept its fall launches to four models, so this would mark a notable most anticipated new entry is, of course, the. Based on past leaks, it could feature a 5.5-inch outer display and a 7.8-inch internal screen, dual 48MP cameras, and a larger battery than Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 7 . While Apple has never confirmed work on a foldable, this device could serve as its first real competitor in the foldable this six-model approach could reflect a new strategy. A previous report from The Information in May claimed Apple might split the iPhone 18 launch into two phases. The higher-end models would arrive first, followed by the more affordable versions in the spring. That could give Apple more flexibility with production and offer buyers more choices throughout the from these six rumored devices, Apple usually keeps some older models around. As of now, the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max are still being sold alongside theseries. If Apple continues that practice, we could see up to eight iPhones available at the same time in 2027, including at least one iPhone 17 could make 2027 Apple's most diverse iPhone offering to date. On one hand, more options could help reach a wider range of buyers. On the other, it might make it harder for customers to pick the right model. We'll be keeping an eye on how this plays out, especially as Apple finalizes its lineup for what could be a very different iPhone year.
