Katie Taylor's dad CONFIRMS legendary daughter's relationship status after pics emerge of her wearing ‘wedding ring'

He said: "Ever since the fight there with Katie, people are seeing the two of us back together, even some of the s*** you hear about that. "I was reading somewhere that Katie Taylor never got married because of her father, he wouldn't let her. "Katie's married, you know, and I'm thinking, 'where are you getting this s*** from?'" Dad and daughter reunited to work together in the lead-up to the 39-year-old's sensational trilogy win over Amanda Serrano on July 11. Pete had coached her during her amateur career, peaking with her winning an Olympic gold medal in London in 2012. However, they parted ways after Pete split from Katie's mum Bridget. Taylor controversially lost her title at the Rio Olympics in 2016 and turned pro later that year, and has been trained by Ross Enamait ever since. In an exclusive interview with the Irish Sun a week on from her victory over the Puerto Rican, Pete sought to dispel preconceptions concerning their relationship. He said: "We posted online that we were training together, but we were still very close. I was still over visiting her. Pete Taylor opens up on training with Katie Taylor "This is a media thing that me and Katie got back together for the fight. It's not true. "We've always been close, and we've been talking for the last five or six years. It was just that I didn't get involved in the training. "We were always talking boxing. That's just natural. When I call over to her, we go to the gym together. "She just asked me to help out in this camp, and that was it - but it wasn't that we rekindled this relationship. "We were close all the time. "People love these stories. I think they must have boring lives or something, because they're so interested in other people's lives. "I don't post anything about my own personal life on Instagram. Katie's the same, and then, when we put it up, you could say it went viral. "We've always been close. I was actually shocked that it went so viral, to tell you the truth."

I visited the English theme park that's launched first-ever overnight stays – with new safari lodges and glamping tents

Your kids will love the 5D Theatre with moving seats UP HIT CREEK I visited the English theme park that's launched first-ever overnight stays – with new safari lodges and glamping tents Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) THE Cornish drizzle had set in upon arrival at our 'safari lodge' but nothing was going to dampen our spirits. After all, this wasn't just any accommodation — we had a theme park as our back garden. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 5 My favourite ride was Raging Rivers, water slides you bomb down Credit: Supplied 5 Fired up on the dragon coaster Credit: Supplied 5 Have fun on the merry-go-round Credit: Supplied Family favourite Camel Creek has welcomed visitors to its award-winning adventure park near Padstow since 1989, but until now, the fun always had to end at closing time. Following a £1million investment, this beloved Cornwall attraction now welcomes guests overnight with the launch of Camel Creek Camping & Glamping. And my 11-year-old daughter Lexi, husband Paul and I were among the first families to experience it. The site offers grass, hard-standing, and all-weather touring pitches plus luxurious glamping options including bell tents and safari lodges. The whole area has been beautifully landscaped: Think lots of twinkling lights, greenery and space. Our safari lodge, aptly named Sunset, overlooked West Country farmland stretching to the horizon. More importantly, it was just a two-minute walk from more than 40 thrilling rides and attractions. Despite being a sophisticated tent rather than a solid building, the lodge was surprisingly spacious — big enough to sleep nine — though smaller family safari tents sleeping up to four are also available. And it came with a private deck, en-suite bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. We were amazed by the luxury touches: Super-soft linens, quality towels and proper kitchen utensils that made it feel like a premium hotel under canvas. The seaside town of Newlyn in Cornwall has been dubbed as one of the 'coolest' places to relocate Luckily for us, Camel Creek is a fantastic day out no matter what the weather, as many of the rides and attractions are under cover. The park boasts more than 45,000sq ft of indoor play areas, ensuring families can enjoy themselves even on rainy days. Key covered attractions include the newly designed Hidden Garden indoor play and cafe, Creeky's Playhouse (an indoor soft play area), the 5D Theatre with moving seats and 3D glasses and various animal encounters housed in indoor facilities like the reptile house. The water rides are probably the best for adrenaline junkies — and those who don't mind getting wet, which Lexi didn't. As it was quiet due to the weather, she went on her favourite water ride Thunder Falls, six times in a row — drenched, yet in high spirits, by the time she got off. Luckily a hot shower was only moments away. Merlin's Magical Playground is ideal for younger children, and home to a ball pit and slides. Leopard cats Animal lovers will enjoy the meerkats, pets corner and the reptile house. And new for this year are owls and leopard cats. My favourite ride was Raging Rivers, water slides you bomb down. The climb up is a bit arduous, but it's worth the effort. Standing more than 20ft above the ground, it offers two different slide experiences — a long bumpy ride or an almost vertical-drop smooth ride that will leave your heart racing. After a few hours in the park, we headed back to our lodge to dry off then ventured out to the on-site restaurant. There is also a shop selling basic provisions if you want to cook. If it had been warm enough, we would have fired up the barbecue that came with our safari lodge set-up. Another time. The flexibility of having both indoor dining options and the ability to self-cater made our stay incredibly convenient, especially with unpredictable weather. After an action-packed day we were happy to retire to our lodge. The insulation and heating worked brilliantly, making the lodge surprisingly warm and cosy. It was hard to believe we were under canvas. Although the wind whipped up a little, we all slept well and stayed warm enough during the night. The next day, we had a couple more hours in the park. Arriving as it opened, we were delighted to be among the first on many of the rides. We loved our night of glamping at Camel Creek, even with the typical British weather doing its worst. With its mix of indoor attractions and cosy canvas accommodation, rain or shine, it's fantastic family fun. 5 The comfy family safari tent Credit: Supplied 5 The kids can have endless fun in pets corner Credit: Supplied

Rebecca Loos' life became 'hell' as David Beckham's 'blossomed' after 'affair'

Rebecca Loos has hit out after her world was turned upside down following the scandal she faced involving David Beckham – but his life 'blossomed' in the wake of it Rebecca Loos has hit out, claiming it was"unjust" how she suffered the consequences following her "affair" with David Beckham. The former glamour model who worked as David's personal assistant in the early 2000s sensationally claimed she and the Manchester United legend had an affair with one another. ‌ At the time, Beckham, 50, branded the allegations as "ludicrous" but never sought legal assistance to challenge the claims or any interviews that Loos gave. Following the allegations, Rebecca, 48, went on to find fame as a reality star, appearing on The Farm, Celebrity Love Island, and X Factor, before eventually turning her back on fame and finding peace as a yoga teacher in Norway. ‌ Now, she has spoken about how her life completely changed after the allegations were made public and the levels of scrutiny she faced, while David went on to become a global icon. She was branded the "sleazy senorita" and faced claims that she attempted to ruin David's marriage with Spice Girls legend, Victoria Beckham. It comes after Cruz Beckham 'steals' his dad's tiny white trunks and family have epic response. ‌ Rebecca is set to appear on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, which sees her in a completely different light, stripped back from everything she knows. It comes after the Beckham's launched a huge Netflix documentary about their lives away from the cameras. "That took me completely by surprise," she said of the Beckham documentary, adding: "Let's call it what it was: him trying to portray an image of perfection that was nothing like reality. ‌ "It felt unjust that my life was pretty hell, and his life kept going and kept blossoming. I've been accused of being a liar. I've had a lifetime of opinions around me, and I've definitely developed thick skin. "I think the public opinion now has softened, at least from what I'm gathering since the documentary came out with the Beckhams a couple of years ago. I think it is now because thanks to social media, there is a whole different following out there, which is a double-edged sword." But while she feels it's unjust, she admits some of the blame lies with her. ‌ In a press pack, Rebecca said: "I think I've definitely taken most of the blame – rightly so. It was part of my life. He was older than me, he was my boss. But I'm not someone to be silenced when I've been wronged, and that documentary took absolutely no responsibility. "When he said, 'It was so horrible to see my wife suffer,' I thought, 'Mate, think twice about the things you do.'" Like all the recruits, Rebecca faced a grilling in the show's Mirror Room. Jason Fox and Chris Oliver questioned her motives for being on the show before asking how she felt about her affair with Beckham now that she's had the time to reflect on it. In his Netflix 2023 documentary, Beckham didn't name Rebecca and failed to take any accountability. He just said: "I don't know how we got through it in all honesty," on a tricky time when he lived in Madrid. ‌ On being asked about Beckham on the Channel 4 show and what she feels about how things have played out, she added: "I was quite guarded at the beginning. I was trying to be guarded because it's not something I want to talk about the whole time. But at the same time I also wanted to be honest with them, so they were really good at getting through to me. "They're obviously professionals at this. I don't shy away from what I've been through, and I don't shy away from the decisions that I've made. They have shaped me into who I am, and I've really learnt a lot from the mistakes that I've made in my life and the things that I've done. And I really do think that being truthful is the only way to go in life. I'll stand by that forever. "It takes a lot of courage to tell the truth and to own up to mistakes that you have made, mistakes and times in your life you're not proud of. And it's very easy to just brush them under the carpet and move on. That's like the coward's way, I think, of living."
