Season 3 of The Summer I Turned Pretty is coming to the 2025 TV schedule in July, and the girls are ready for war. The battle between Team Jeremiah and Team Conrad has always been aggressive. However, after fans saw the promo image that announced the final installment's premiere date, they are ready to throw hands.
It's been nearly two years since Belly picked Jeremiah at the end of TSITP Season 2, and now we'll finally get to see how her story ends. To get fans excited (and passionate) about said finale, Amazon announced the series' premiere date with this emotion-inducing image, take a look:
First and foremost, I love that the series will premiere on July 16. It's perfect for, as the title says, summer. Plus, if they air it like Season 2, we could get weekly releases, which means about two months' worth of romance and battle over this love triangle.
Now, whether you know the end to this book-to-screen adaptation's source material or not, this image is bold and says a lot. Jeremiah and Belly are clearly together, and Conrad obviously hates it. So, what will happen between the three of them? Only time will tell, but for now, the girls are getting ready for battle in the comments.

As you can imagine, the Conrad and Jeremiah supporters take their jobs seriously. Ever since the show's premiere in 2022, the debate has been hot. And it got hotter after Season 2, when Belly chose Jeremiah. Now, they're ready for war as we wait for Belly's final decision.
On one side of the battle, we have the Team Conrad girls, who took to the comments on the show's Instagram announcement to write things like:

Many Team Jeremiah members are in the comments as well. While fans of Christopher Briney's character did not approve of Gavin Casalegno's brother kissing Belly on the cheek, others were loud and proud about their love for it, writing:

Meanwhile, there's another small camp of fans who are worried that the series might deviate from the books when it comes to who Belly picks. We know that could happen, changes in TSITP have happened before. That means she could choose someone else, or maybe she won't end up with either of them. The idea of her ending the show as a single woman is something fans do not want, and will throw hands over, as these comments show:

Overall, there's a lot of passion being thrown in a lot of directions when it comes to The Summer I Turned Pretty, and it's got me so excited about what's to come.

The Long-Awaited ‘Mass Effect' Show Has a Showrunner Now
Prime Video's upcoming Mass Effect show is progressing slowly, but surely. On Friday, Deadline revealed the live-action series gained Doug Jung as its showrunner. Jung, who most may remember as the co-writer for 2016's Star Trek Beyond, recently ended a showrunner/executive producer stint for Apple TV+'s Chief of War. He'll be working alongside writer Dan Casey, and both will EP for the series alongside franchise producer Mike Gamble. As Deadline notes, this is a 'major step forward' in the show's development, which was first teased all the way back in 2021, then had its existence reaffirmed back in 2024. To date, Prime Video's kept mum on what exactly Casey's pitch was for the Mass Effect show. Among fans, the general thinking is that it'll just adapt the initial trilogy of Commander Shepard gathering allies to fight the Reapers. (This also seemed to be the plan when a movie seemed likely back in 2007 after the first game came out.) But shows like Castlevania and Prime Video's own Fallout have taken a different approach that tells an original story inside the worlds of those series. (Fallout in particular carries itself like a Fallout 5 we're getting to watch but not play.) Others, like Tomb Raider and Dragon Age, continued (or hoped to) the stories of the games they're based on. There's certainly different routes for the Mass Effect series to take, and we'll be interested to learn Jung and Casey's approach in due time.

Chris Pratt shows off drastic transformation for 'The Terminal List' season 2
Chris Pratt gave fans a behind-the-scenes look at his dramatic transformation for "The Terminal List" season two, sharing a video from set on Friday. The actor appeared nearly unrecognizable with long hair, a full beard and a thick mustache, all part of a detailed prosthetic look for his character. "Isn't this hair and makeup incredible?" Pratt said in the video posted to Instagram. "My team does such an awesome job." Pratt, who plays Navy SEAL James Reece in the Amazon Prime Video series, explained the facial hair is fake, but realistic enough to cause issues during lunch breaks. Pratt's on-set update came days after he paid tribute to "Parks and Recreation" co-star Jonathan Joss, who was shot and killed on June 1. "Damn. RIP Jonathan. ‘Fortnite' Is Down: Here's When Servers Come Back Online For Season 3
Fortnite Season 3 Fortnite servers have gone dark following the massive Death Star Sabotage live-event. The short, five-week Season 2 which featured all Star Wars content has come to an end, and the new Superman-themed Season 3 is about to begin. Typically new seasons of Fortnite kick off in the middle of the night or early morning, but Season 3 is slated to launch this evening, and possibly as early as this afternoon if you're on the West Coast. Server downtime is typically three or four hours, so with the game going down at roughly 2:30pm ET / 11:30am PT we could see Season 3 go live as early as mid-afternoon. Update: According to the in-game timer at the end of the live-event, downtime will last 5.5 hours, meaning Season 3 will launch at 8pm ET / 5pm PT. The new season brings James Gunn's Superman to the Battle Pass. The new model is based on David Corenswet's Man of Steel. The suit looks pretty good on this Fortnite version of the character. We also get Robin and Jonesy this season, along with other skins. Crossovers will be abundant, as per usual, with One Punch Man and Squid Game skins headed to the game. Fortnite is now available on more devices than ever for Season 3, with the game returning to mobile devices and launching on the Nintendo Switch 2. Players were able to load in early and play a Tie-Fighter vs X-Wing dogfighting game for a couple hours prior to the event going live which was pretty fun. I had no trouble getting into the event this time, which is a nice change of pace from many previous Fortnite events.
