Blackpink's Jennie reenters Billboard Hot 100
Jennie of Blackpink returned to Billboard's Hot 100 at No. 96 with 'Like Jennie,' on the back of her successful solo debut at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
Jennie performed the single as the highlight of her two-date gig at the festival, which featured Lisa in the lineup and Rose in the audience.
The track debuted on the singles chart at No. 83 in March, joining two B-side tracks from her first solo studio album -- 'ExtraL (feat. Doechii)' and 'Handlebars (feat. Dua Lipa)' which ranked No. 80 and No. 99, respectively. This made her the first-ever K-pop female musician to have three songs on the chart in the same week.
"Like Jennie" fronted her album 'Ruby' which rose seven rungs to No. 81 on the Billboard 200 after hitting it at No. 7.
Separately, Jennie will resume her group activities and prepare for Blackpink's world tour, slated to kick off in July.
