That's led to the boom of alternatives like Poppi, which is a prebiotic soda with all the refreshing carbonation of soda but with fewer downsides; it's lower in both sugar and calories than traditional sodas, and also higher in fiber. NBC Select reporter Zoe Malin credits Poppi's prebiotic sodas with helping cut back her soda consumption since she started drinking a can a day in 2020. 'I often have more Poppi than food in my refrigerator,' she says. 'The flavors are so refreshing and you can't go wrong with any of them. They're great bases for cocktails and mocktails, too.'
If you're already a Poppi fan, you also might want to stock up on the brand's Cream Soda flavor, which was a limited release earlier this year. The brand has brought it back just for Amazon Prime Day for 37% off — again, its lowest price yet.

A spokesman for the supermarket said: "All items are reduced to 50 per cent of the recommend sales price before stores open on their best before or use by dates." That means you have the best chance of finding reduced food items if you go into stores as soon as it opens. Opening times vary by shop but a majority open from 7am or 8am. You can find your nearest store's times by using the supermarket's online shop finder tool. For Specialbuys - Thursdays and Sundays Specialbuys are Aldi's weekly collection of items that it doesn't normally sell, which can range from pizza ovens to power tools. New stock comes into stores every Thursday and Sunday, so naturally, these are the best days to visit for the best one-off special deals.
