Nakuul Mehta And Jankee Parekh Have Got The Cutest Video Editor, Guess Who?
Nakuul Mehta and his wife Jankee Parekh have their own YouTube channel, The Indian Parent Pod, where they discuss their approach to parenting, emphasising a balanced and grounded style they call 'Dal-Chawal Parenting." Recently, their 4-year-old son Sufi decided to help his parents edit their forthcoming videos, highlighting a strong family bond, teamwork and shared accomplishment.
Taking to Instagram, Nakuul shared a mirror selfie of his stories featuring himself along with Sufi and Jankee, and an iPad to edit the clips. The actor captioned the post, 'The boy decided to help us with the edits! We learn through him, but we build 'together'." Jankee, too, re-shared the post on her stories.
The couple's podcast show explores the realities of parenthood, focusing on the personal growth and challenges that come with raising children, rather than just the parenting advice aspect. They share their personal anecdotes and perspectives on raising their son, Sufi, without filters or expert opinions.
Interestingly, Nakuul and Jankee are also expecting their second child together. They announced their pregnancy last month with an adorable post that featured the beaming parents-to-be and their son, capturing a picture-perfect family moment. They wrote in the caption, 'The boy is ready for additional responsibility. So are we. We are accepting blessings, again."

Jankee, on the other hand, recently penned a heartfelt note for her husband for being a good parent to his son. Not just this, she also highlighted how even with their different approaches in life they have made a wonderful home for their son.
'To the man I'm raising a child with. We do not share similar approaches to parenting. And honestly? We're not supposed to. I'm an overthinker. The planner. The worrier. You're the steady hand. The calm in the storm. I carry the unseen load, worried about whether he's fed, taken his meds, soothing meltdowns and making him feel held. You provide the enthusiasm by wrestling on the bed and teaching him to bike. Allowing him to tumble while teaching him to be brave," she wrote.

We call it a heartbeat. Today, the Supreme Court says - take away every stray dog of the streets of Delhi-NCR and lock them away. No sunlight. No freedom. No familiar faces they greet every morning," the note read. 'Yes, there are problems - bites, safety concerns - but caging an entire community of animals is not solution but an erasure. The real fix? Large-scale sterilization programs, regular vaccination, unity feeding zones, and adoption campaigns. Not punishment. Not imprisonment.' Janhvi Kapoor's Instagram message wrote- 'But these aren't just 'stray dogs.' They're the ones who wait outside your tea stall for a biscuit. The silent night guards for shopkeepers. The wagging tails that welcome children home from school. They're the warmth in a cold, uncaring city. Yes, there are issues, bites, safety concerns, but caging an entire community is not a solution, it's an erasure.' The note added, 'What's truly needed? Large-scale sterilisation programmes, regular vaccination drives, designated community feeding areas, and proper adoption efforts. Not punishment. Not imprisonment. A society that cannot protect its voiceless is one that is losing its soul. Today it's the dogs. Tomorrow… who will it be?' Filmmaker Siddharth Anand also spoke out, 'There's simply no compassion left. Who will ensure they're fed in those shelters? At least on the streets, some kind-hearted souls still feed these voiceless beings. In shelters, they'll starve. This is a death warrant. Someone, please start a petition. We must stop this genocide. I stand with you!'
