Lincoln loanee Cadamarteri likely to miss run-in
Lincoln City forward Bailey Cadamarteri is expected to miss the remainder of the season because of a groin injury. The on-loan 19-year-old will return to parent club Sheffield Wednesday for further assessment, but Imps boss Michael Skubala says his "season is probably done".Cadamarteri has scored five goals in 23 League One appearances for Lincoln in an injury-interrupted season.A 10-minute appearance off the bench in a 4-1 win against Crawley earlier in March is all he has managed since he was first sidelined with a groin issue in mid-January."When he had his groin injury before we knew there is a high recurrence rate with that," Skubala told BBC Radio Lincolnshire."He obviously came back for a little bit but he has felt it again, so we think that could be pretty bad news for him."
Skubala said the latest injury setback is a "big shame" for a teenager that was "really starting to get going"."We saw some good moments from him before he got injured and then unfortunately he has got injured [again] and that will be it for the season," the Imps boss added.

Katie Boulter gets Queen's campaign off to winning start with Raducanu
The 28-year-old teamed up with the 2021 US Open Champion to down Xinju Jiang and Fang-Hsien Wu 6-4 6-2 in their first round match at the LTA's HSBC Championships. The tournament marked the first time since 1973 that a women's event has been held at The Queen's Club, and Boulter and Raducanu were the first Brits to grace the famous West Kensington courts. And with a first victory under her belt on the grass this season, Boulter was thrilled to see such a strong start to their budding partnership. "I'm obviously very pleased to get Emma's first ever win on the board for doubles," she said. "I thought we played some very good tennis to say that it was our first time playing together. I thought the level was very high so I'm pleased to get our first grass court win this year." The duo got off to a speedy start, immediately breaking their opponents in what looked like the start of a dominant performance. Jiang and Wu later broke back and levelled the score to four games all but the British pair held and surged ahead once more to take the first 6-4. The pair once again found their flow in the second set and won three games in a row to take the lead. It meant that they were left to serve for the match and wrapped up their maiden doubles appearance together in style, sealing their spot in the second round. "I think we serve and return very well and have good volleys," added Boulter. "If one of us hits a good ball then we're both going to capitalise on that so naturally I feel a lot more confident that Emma's going to put the ball away which is good. "I think that we are just going to keep making it tough for our opponents and see what happens." For the latest action on the British summer grass court season, check out the LTA website

England U21s' James Beadle confident he'll be a European champion… even though he admits he DESERVED to get dropped
ENGLAND U21 goalie James Beadle believes he'll be a European champion - despite admitting he DESERVED to be dropped at Sheffield Wednesday. The highly-rated Brighton star, 20, is Slovakia preparing for the European Championship after returning from a season-long loan at Hillsborough. And he is adamant that his confidence has not been rocked by the fact that Owls boss Danny Rohl decided to axe him for the final eight games after his performances dipped. Beadle said: 'Overall it was a big learning experience to grow as a player and grow as a person. A lot of things happened, good games, bad games, but overall just a good time of improvement for me. 'Towards the end of my time at Wednesday I don't think I really performed to my best for whatever reason. Now after taking a step back I understand why and in this tournament and looking ahead I know what I need to do to be at my best more consistently.' The refreshingly honest stopper continued: 'Just going through clips, going through games, and I just don't think I performed to my capabilities,' he added. 'I know how good I am, I know I can perform at that level, and in the future I know what I need to do to stay more at my level. 'Sometimes you've got to take a step back to properly look at it and that's when I came out of the team. It was really hard to take at the time but when you take a step back and realise how I was actually performing, it is what it is. 'I don't really go on social media or anything, I try to live in my own bubble, but at the time when results aren't going well and you aren't performing at the level you can you know you're going to get criticised. I have no issue being criticised if I know I'm not performing to the level I can.' Beadle is now focused firmly on the Euros - and he insists that Lee Carsley's squad can match anybody at the tournament as the Young Lions look to secure back-to-back Euro success. He added: 'We're at least on par if not better when you look at the talent in this squad. We can definitely compete and try to turn them over. 'It's been a long build-up now to the tournament and the main goal for us is winning. As a country now we want to start winning things and it starts at youth ages like Under-21s so that's what we want to do.' England kick-off their Euro campaign against the Czech Republic on Thursday. They then face Slovenia three days later and finish the group stage against Germany on Wednesday 18 June with all of the Young Lions' matches being broadcast on Channel 4.
