GEMMA Collins' ex has been cleared of attacking another woman after the Towie star claimed he beat her "within an inch" of her life.
Alex Moss was set to stand trial accused of two counts of assault against Melanie Westbury.

But the Crown Prosecution Service told The Sun Online they offered no evidence after a key witness failed to attend court.
Moss, 44, was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, engaging in controlling or coercive behaviour and intentional strangulation.
But he was jailed for six months after he admitted breaching a restraining order during the hearing at Chelmsford Crown Court.
Gemma dated the thug, who was imprisoned in 2012 for drug dealing, between June and November 2014.

Gemma famously quit the show after 72 hours, later saying she was suffering from post-traumatic stress following a clash with him.
The reality star claimed Moss allegedly kicked her, spat food in her face and smashed up her flat.
She added: "I was severely beaten up by my partner the night before I went into the jungle.

Moss was arrested after the alleged assault, but Gemma decided not to press charges.

He was previously jailed in 2019 for 21 months for breaking Melanie's arm in a savage attack.
The court heard the chillingly told her: "When I come back, I am going to absolutely do you. I have got nothing to lose."

He also said of her fractured arm: "This is nothing, I'm going to f*** you up. I will kill you."
The thug admitted grievous bodily harm on his then-girlfriend.

He was given a restraining order banning him from any contact with Melanie but regularly breached it.
Moss has now been made subject to a new five-year order following the latest case.
