This Morning viewers say the same thing over Cat Deeley's outfit choice

Daily Record4 days ago

Cat Deeley returned to This Morning on Monday alongside Ben Shephard, but it wasn't long before viewers were distracted by her outfit choice.
This Morning fans were left unimpressed by Cat Deeley's outfit choice on Monday's episode.
The host resumed her presenting role alongside Ben Shephard after a week off for half-term.

Throughout the previous week, ITV audiences were entertained by presenters such as Craig Doyle, Alison Hammond, Rochelle Humes and Paddy McGuiness.

But upon Cat's comeback, viewers quickly took to social media to critique the 48-year-old's attire.
Cat appeared in a chic black halterneck top adorned with a gold buckle, paired with striking red trousers and golden embellishments, reports Wales Online.
One viewer took to X, previously known as Twitter, to express their bemusement, commenting:"Has Cat come straight from a beach bar? .... bizarre choice of outfit."
Another commented: "Cat looks like she's been out lol." While a third remarked: "Cat obviously still in her clothes from a night out."
A different fan tweeted: "Cat - you're not having a day at the beach love. Dress like a professional at work."

Echoing the sentiment, another added: "She looks like she's in competition with Amanda Holden..who can show the most flesh!".
As they kicked off the show, both hosts shared their joy at being back on air.

Ben, responding to Cat's inquiry about his break, commenting: "Very nice, Sam came back from university, Jack's doing his A-Level revision.
"He's got an exam this morning; if anyone is doing their drama A-Level this morning, good luck! In fact, he'll be an hour in, so hopefully, he's writing things! If not, we've got a problem."

Ben mentioned that his house had been bustling with both eating and revision during the break then enquired about his colleague's time off from work.
She replied: "Lots of Legoland, camping out, slip and slide, went to the optician, all that stuff!
"All that stuff you gotta do, but we got it done, it was good."

Love Island casting comes under fire AGAIN after it's revealed star had TikTok account where he ‘secretly films women'

AXED Love Island hunk Kyle Ashman took part in 'misogynistic' videos with a pal where they secretly filmed women. The lad was struck from the dating show line-up earlier this week after it was revealed that he had been held and questioned by police over a machete attack at a wake. Now it has been revealed that he had a joint TikTok and YouTube page with a friend called Fin Musker. Whilst the joint pages have been wiped of content, a source has told The Sun that the videos involved them 'picking up girls and filming them without knowledge'. The source added that the videos 'displayed misogynistic behaviour towards women'. Some content still online shows Fin and Kyle out on the town, kissing women and speaking to them in bars. When approached about the videos, Kyle did not wish to comment. It raises further question marks about ITV's vetting process for its reality shows. Earlier this week Kyle was sent packing from Majorca after The Sun alerted show bosses that he had been arrested on suspicion of a machete attack and was only cleared by police last month - meaning he would've been in discussion with authorities whilst auditioning for Love Island. ITV chiefs sent him home from Majorca, plunging the show into chaos ahead of Monday's launch. A source said: 'All of the online content had been cleared so may not have come up on surface level checks, but for this kind of show far deeper trawls should be in place. 'ITV has steered clear of OnlyFans stars in the past and Kyle's link to one - particularly taking part in joint content of a misogynistic nature - is surely not in keeping with Love Island being a family show.' Love Island's Kyle Ashman reveals he wants show return as Casa Amor hunk after being axed over machete attack on dad ITV declined to comment. Ashman, 23, was one of two quizzed over a brutal machete attack at a wake in Stafford in February but was released with no further action. Sources said the channel was unaware of the incident and he was not flagged as part of contestant checks. The victim, 38, nearly lost his arm. He was rushed to hospital for emergency treatment and kept in for around two weeks. Another mourner was glassed, one struck with a metal pole, and two people run over by a car during the 15 minutes of terror at a social club. Ashman, who lives in the town, was one of two men to be nicked on suspicion of affray then bailed. Police confirmed that after the matter had been investigated the pair were released with no further action only last month. Speaking after he was axed from the show, he said: "I'm not a bad guy, honestly. I'm a normal guy from a normal place. An opportunity arose to find love and I grabbed it with both hands, and it's been taken away from me. "I've seen the support pages and, who knows, maybe I'll get the chance to go on Casa Amor or as a bombshell, go back in and show you who I really am. Show you I'm not a bad guy. We'll see." 3 3 Troubled history of telly hit By Jonathan Kanengoni LOVE Island has been hit by a string of controversies since it first aired in 2015. Malia Arkian lasted just three hours before she was marched out by security in its second year after pushing co-contestant Kady McDermott for spilling wine on her. Sherif Lanre was booted off after nine days in 2019. He had made a vile joke after accidentally kicking fan fave Molly-Mae Hague in the crotch during a play fight. In the same year Women's Aid complained of contestant Joe Garratt's 'abusive' behaviour towards on-screen partner Lucie Donlan. She broke down in tears after he told her to stay away from the other lads. Ollie Williams left after three days in 2020 when he realised he still had feelings for his ex. But his exit came amid mounting pressure on bosses to remove him after pictures of him allegedly trophy hunting came to light. Salesman Haris Namani was dumped in 2023 after The Sun revealed footage of him in a street brawl. The show has also been accused of failing to look after islanders' mental health when filming stops. Sophie Gradon took her own life, aged 32, two years after she appeared on Love Island 2016. And Mike Thalassitis's suicide in 2019, at 26, prompted calls for better after-care by reality shows. In 2022, watchdog Ofcom received 3,600 complaints in a week over alleged misogynistic behaviour by some of the male contestants. And this year it received thousands of complaints about All Stars contestant Elma Pazar's bullying of Ekin- Su Culculoglu during a row.

Holly Willoughy on the secret struggle that made her school days 'so hard'

The TV star is throwing her support behind Jamie Oliver as he embarks on a campaign to overhaul the schooling system so dyslexic and neurodivergent kids can thrive Holly Willoughby has spoken out about her battle with dyslexia in support of Jamie Oliver' s new campaign to secure better teaching for the 1-in-10 kids who have it. The TV star, who quit This Morning last year, opens up on feeling 'different' to her classmates. She says she had to cope with feelings of failure after comparing herself with her friends and finding that despite working hard she was 'not getting the results'. ‌ "I definitely was terrible at spelling,' she says in the film. 'I knew that because in spelling tests I would always get poor results. I always knew that when I got my homework back, there would be red pen all over it where there would be 'silly mistakes'.' ‌ The mum-of-three, 44, also explained: 'I felt like I was working really, really hard with not getting much results. So I felt different.' Holly said it was hard not to lose confidence in herself. "The school system is made for a certain type of learning and it's so hard when you don't learn like that. When you then write yourself off at school as being 'non academic', that does shape your future somewhat.' Holly is joined in the Channel 4 documentary by former Made in Chelsea star Jamie Laing who also said he found it hard to make words work for him - and often found himself in trouble at school. Viewers will also hear heart-breaking testimony from 15-year-old Amira, who felt 'isolated' at school, where she failed to get a formal diagnosis and now expects to fail her GCSEs. 'It feels like I have no opportunities. I don't see any hope,' she tells Jamie, who says she's being badly let down. ‌ The film, Jamie's Dyslexia Revolution, uses statistics showing that one in ten kids is dyslexic - meaning there are three in the average class - but for every 10 dyslexic children, only two will be diagnosed. He finds that children with dyslexia are 3.5 times more likely to be expelled, and those who do lose their place at school are 200 times more likely to get involved in violent crime. This could explain why 50% of the UK's prison inmates show signs of dyslexia. ‌ 'I am starting to see the patterns of getting into trouble and ending up in prison are all massively amplified by dyslexia and neurodiversity…and I don't think it is because this is destiny for them, I think it's a reaction to a feeling that they never fit it,' he said at a launch event for the in London. 'Dyslexia is bigger than letters jumping around and a few kids struggling to read. It's about getting tens of thousands of kids a year to thrive, and not just survive, in school. An education system that only works for some kids, and not everyone, is broken.' He is putting his faith in education minister Bridget Phillipson, who is committed to improving school for all neurodivergent kids. 'I like her. She's doing things that others haven't done for a long time,' Jamie says. 'Out of the 17 or 18 [education ministers] that I've seen over the last 20 years, she sticks out as being one worth putting a bet on.' ‌ Since filming ended, the minister has agreed that 1 in 4 kids being left out of education is a sign the system needs an overhaul and has committed to improving teacher training around neurodiversity for all new teachers from this September. Mother-of-two Bridget said: 'I am determined to reform the system for children with SEND so that all children can achieve what they're capable of.' ‌ Discussing his new documentary, Oliver claimed Essex county council did not want to "spend the money' on young people having the learning difficulty. 'I'm disgusted by my county of Essex,' he declared. 'I come from Essex. I was born and bred in Essex and went to school in Essex … and they've decided to not recognise dyslexia. They don't recognise it, they don't see it." He argued: "My instinct is because once you recognise it and once you have a diagnosis on it, then because of the Equality Act you have to deploy resources as a human right. And I believe that Essex don't want to spend the money.' -Jamie's Dyslexia Revolution, Channel 4, 8pm, Monday
