Exclusive Leverage: Redemption Sneak Peek: Hardison Has a Secret in Superfun, Season-Opening 1-Shot
Hardison is keeping a secret, and it nearly spills out during TVLine's exclusive sneak peek at the opening minutes of Leverage: Redemption Season 3.
Season 3 of the caper drama (which now calls Prime Video home) premieres this Thursday, April 17, with the first three episodes of 10, followed by weekly drops. The clip above finds Hardison/The Hacker (played by Aldis Hodge), Parker/The Thief (Beth Riesgraf), Sophie/The Grifter (Gina Bellman) and Eliot/The Hitter (Christian Kane) each doing the thing they do so well, in order to steal something from a Paris hotel — all as part of a superfun, mostly one-shot sequence.

Along the way, Eliot makes reference to a 'choice' that Hardison has made, but clearly not yet shared with longtime partner Parker. Might it have to do with what Hardison says in a previoulsy released trailer, about not being able to do this job anymore?
After all, the increasingly busy Hodge did tell TVLine that Leverage fans once again 'might not get enough' of Hardison 'because I was little occupied shooting Season 2 of Cross' last summer.
In Leverage: Redemption Season 3, Sophie, Eliot, Parker, Hardison, Breanna/The Maker (Aleyse Shannon) and Harry/The Fixer (Noah Wyle) will contend with a power broker stealing the clean water under people's feet and turning it into dirty money, fight a mayor who's literally the judge and jury of his small town, outrun a mark who's finally caught up with them mid-con, out-hustle a pool hustler with a side hustle in extortion, and bring down an industrialist exploiting child labor, the official synopsis tells us. 'All this while dodging an intricate plan of vengeance from a past enemy and working through the fallout of their new personal relationships.'
Guest stars on tap for Leverage: Redemption Season 3 include Rachael Harris (Lucifer), Auden Wyle (back as Harry's daughter), Jack Coleman (Heroes), Drew Powell (Gotham), Alex Boniello (Ghosts' Crash), Cedric Yarbrough (The Goldbergs), Mary Hollis Inboden (The Righteous Gemstones) and Sam Witwer (Smallville).Best of TVLine

SWAT: Exiles: Deacon & Victor Tan Actors React to the Spin-off Announcement
While the upcoming spin-off series, titled SWAT: Exiles, will soon usher in a new era for the fan-favorite franchise, its abrupt announcement seems to have drawn a bittersweet reaction from Jay Harrington, who played Deacon, and David Lim, who portrayed Victor Tan in the original series. The duo has come out to share their disappointment about being informed of the spin-off just two days after the premiere of the SWAT Season 8 finale. In a recent discussion, Jay Harrington, who played the role of Deacon on SWAT throughout its eight-season run, noted that the cast was completely unaware of the existence of SWAT: Exiles. While speaking with TVLine, the Better Off Ted alum revealed that 'not once' was he notified of the recently confirmed SWAT spin-off. Harrington, along with most of the rest of the show's cast, only came to know about plans for Exiles on May 18, from Hondo actor Shemar Moore. Understandably taken aback by the sudden announcement for SWAT: Exiles, Harrington stated, 'I did not have a spin-off on my bingo card, for sure.' While he admitted that the SWAT producers did not owe him anything, he did say that the studio should've let him know that they wanted a 'clean break [and to] start fresh.' 'If there was any disappointment, it's that when they announced it, we weren't mentioned at all,' Harrington added. While Harrington expressed his feelings about SWAT: Exiles in an expansive interview, his co-star, David Lim, penned a heartfelt message on his Instagram profile to do the same. After showing gratitude to fans for celebrating his eight-year stint on SWAT, Lim let his thoughts about the forthcoming spin-off be known. He wrote, 'I'd be lying if I said the rollout of the new spinoff didn't sting. It was tough to see it announced just two days after our finale—with no mention of the cast who helped build S.W.A.T. from day one. After 8 incredible seasons, it felt like we were brushed aside when there could've been a moment of reflection and recognition—for the people who built this show, and for the impact it had on so many.' Despite his criticisms of how the announcement of SWAT: Exiles was handled, Lim reiterated how proud he was of his castmates before concluding his message by noting, 'No version of this story can take that away.' YouTube overtakes streaming rivals as the go-to for TV and movies
Gone are the days when YouTube was just for catching up on vlogs or diving into late-night rabbit holes. Today, the platform is staking its claim in TV and film. According to a new survey conducted by Looper Insights between April 16 and 25, 66% of consumers discover TV or film content via YouTube. For 61%, it's already part of their regular streaming habits, and for 34%, it's a main source for TV and film content, as reported by Media Play News. This shift isn't surprising. In April, the Google-owned platform captured a record 12.4% share of all TV viewing. And it's not just rival streamers who should be concerned. For three consecutive months, YouTube has ranked as the No. 1 distributor of television content, according to Nielsen. Media executives are taking notice. Among the 65 surveyed, 84% view YouTube as a viable platform for launching long-form content, and 30% are actively considering it for upcoming releases. In Q1 2025, more Americans watched YouTube on TV screens than on mobile devices—a first. Meeting audiences in the living room, media companies have begun uploading premium content directly to the platform. Earlier this year, Warner Bros. quietly released more than 30 full-length films on YouTube, free to watch. Yet as YouTube continues its rise, creators face critical decisions. Some, like Ms Rachel, have signed licensing deals with Netflix. MrBeast (aka Jimmy Donaldson), YouTube's most-subscribed creator, brought Beast Games to the small screen via Prime Video. Still, many fans would rather their favorite YouTubers stay where they started. More than half (54%) of respondents said YouTubers feel more authentic and better suited to the platform that launched their careers. Meanwhile, nearly three-quarters (74%) of executives noted that creator-led shows often underperform on platforms like Netflix and Prime, citing poor audience migration and an overreliance on follower counts.
