Glaring detail in Drake's viral six-pack selfie sparks plastic surgery speculation
The hip-hop musician, 38, unveiled his chiseled torso in a post he uploaded Saturday, when began with his jaw-dropping selfie followed by video of him going for a run in a park.
However, a glaring detail set off alarm bells amongst fans who suspected the abs were not necessarily the result of his jogs but rather a plastic surgeon.
In the comments section, followers pointed out that Drake's upper body lacked the same definition present on his abs.
'No shoulders, no biceps, deflated chest but extremely defined abs lmao,' one commenter pointed out.
'Boy stop playing! The only place you ran was to the surgeon,' another hilariously quipped.
'Ordered abs from temu n forgot to add shoulders n tri lol,' another joked.
Surgery blogger SurgeonMade_Curves theorized Drake underwent liposuction with ab etching.
'What do you guys think of this last round ! It's looking like high definition Lipo with ab etching … is it too much,' they posted.
SurgeonMade also believes Drake got the alleged work done by 'Dr. Jung', which appears to be a reference to the musician's plastic surgeon friend Dr. Calvin Jung.
Dana Omari, who runs a popular plastic surgery-themed Instagram account @IGFamousByDana, was in agreement with SurgeonMade's suspicions.
'I second every single thing @surgeonmade_curves said in her post about Drake's fresh (and not even fully healed) latest round of lipo etched abs. Also agree Jung is the surgeon (allegedly),' she said.
'Drake and Jung are business partners btw and Jung's new facility that opened last year even features a mural of Jung and Drake,' she wrote.
DailyMail.com has contacted representatives for Drake over the plastic surgery speculation but did not immediately hear back.

It is not the first time Drake has been accused of getting plastic surgery, with the singer getting hit with rumors he underwent liposuction to get sculpted abs back in 2016.
Rapper Joe Budden made the allegation in his song Afraid where he said: 'Yeah Aubrey that's the one we trust, not this new Aubrey with his stomach sculpted.'
The rumors resurfaced again in 2018, with rapper Pusha T's diss song aimed at Drake, called 'The Story of Adidon'.
The song included the lyrics 'surgical summer' and 'snip, snip, snip'.
And again in 2019, Drake faced accusations of undergoing 'fake ab surgery' when he shared a shirtless photo - but this time he responded.
'You got fake ab surgery in Colombia. You ain't fooling anybody,' DJ Carnage commented on the photo.
'Is this cause you are angry about the one thing that happened with that one person the other day that you thought was your wifey?' Drake replied, prompting Carnage to respond in all-caps, 'DON'T YOU DAREEEEE!'
But Drake then assured followers they were cool: 'Aye relax we friends in real life,' he wrote.
Drake's trainer Johnny Roxx then shut down the 'fake ab surgery' speculation, telling Carnage: 'Holla at me and I'll get you right too.'
Last year Rick Ross accused Drake of getting a nose job in his Champagne Moments single, prompting the God's Plan artist to hit back.
In the lyrics, Ross called Drake a 'white boy,' and rapped 'That's why you had an operation to make your nose smaller than your father nose.'
Drake denied going under the knife as he shared a text message exchange he had with his mother Sandi Graham, who asked him about the rumors.
Ross also claimed Drake had surgery to remove fat and accentuate his abs, calling him 'BBL Drizzy' in a series of antagonizing posts.
The conjecture reached such a fever pitch that Drake's rival producer Metro Boomin released a free diss track called BBL Drizzy.
Drake then responded to the jab by rapping over the BBL Drizzy beat during a feature segment on the Sexyy Red song U My Everything.
The lyrics appeared to even reference Dr. Calvin Jung.
'Me and the surgeon got history / I changed a lot of girls' lives for real/they need a new body, they hittin' me,' Drake raps in the track. 'BBL Drizzy, they want a new body, they ask me for it / The last one, Jung, he did it for free 'cause I sent over so many passports for him, for real.'

MSNBC is currently preparing to split from NBCUniversal to become part of an entirely new company, Versant, made up of other Comcast channels. The piece also pointed out pair have been missing many shows despite the pace of political news coming out of Washington, DC . Of the 49 Morning Joe episodes that have aired since May 26, Brzezinski has been away for 26 while Scarborough has been absent for 18. 'Most of their peers, Rachel Maddow aside, still show up five days a week,' Mediaite reported. 'Joe and Mika may be relaxing poolside, and fair enough,' the report concludes. 'But their absence sends a message. The only question now is whether MSNBC is listening - and how they plan to respond.' Hall said the Morning Joe stand-ins have failed to deliver 'fire-and-ice dynamic' that their viewers enjoy. Moreover, 'their absence sends a message,' Hall wrote at a point. 'When stars act like they own the show, it's often because they do - and they know it,' he said.
