Telugu star Allu Arjun , fresh off the success of Pushpa 2: The Rule, was recently spotted at Mumbai airport returning to Hyderabad after completing the shooting schedule of his upcoming film AA22 x A6 . While the actor usually enjoys a massive fan following for his work and persona, a brief interaction with airport security staff drew unexpected attention and criticism online. On the morning of August 9, Allu Arjun was photographed at Mumbai airport dressed casually in a white T-shirt and black pants, sporting a face mask and sunglasses. During the routine security verification, airport personnel asked the actor to remove his mask and sunglasses for proper identification. A video that surfaced on social media showed the actor appearing somewhat annoyed by the request, quickly complying but with a visible display of irritation before moving ahead inside the terminal. This moment, though brief, sparked a wave of reactions from the public. Many viewers on social media platforms interpreted his behavior as an unnecessary display of attitude towards security staff. Comments ranged from accusing the actor of overacting and showing arrogance to criticism about not cooperating with basic protocols. Some viewers pointed out that public figures should set an example by respecting security procedures, especially in sensitive areas like airports.Conversely, several fans and supporters of Allu Arjun defended him, suggesting that he might have been rushed or preoccupied, which led to his visible impatience. They argued that such brief moments should not be blown out of proportion, emphasizing that celebrities are also humans who can experience moments of frustration just like anyone else.During his stay in Mumbai for the shoot of AA22 x A6, Allu Arjun managed to balance his demanding professional commitments with quality family time. The actor was recently seen enjoying dinner with his wife Sneha Reddy and their children, Allu Ayaan and Allu Arha. The couple, married since 2011, has often been praised for their strong relationship and public appearances that endear them to fans.Allu Arjun's next film, directed by Atlee, is expected to be a major pan-India and international venture with the working title AA22 x A6. The film reportedly explores the concept of a parallel universe and involves heavy visual effects. The cast boasts several leading actresses from across Indian cinema, including Deepika Padukone, Mrunal Thakur, Rashmika Mandanna, and Janhvi Kapoor. Produced by Sun Pictures, the project is designed to appeal to a global audience, marking a significant step in Allu Arjun's already illustrious career.

Chiranjeevi denies meeting film federation amid Telugu industry strikes, slams ‘baseless' claims

Amid the ongoing tensions in the Telugu film industry, megastar Chiranjeevi has refuted claims of his involvement with the dispute. Chiranjeevi slammed the false information shared by individuals claiming to be members of the Film Federation that he met with the protesting workers and offered assurances over their demands. 'It has come to my attention that some individuals claiming to be the members of the Film Federation have gone to the media falsely claiming that I have met them and given an assurance that their demands regarding a 30 per cent wage hike, etc., shall be met and that I will be starting shooting very soon. I wish to set the record straight that I have not met anyone from the federation. This is an industry issue and no individual, including me, can give any unilateral assurances to solve any problem one way or the other,' the actor wrote on X. He noted that the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce is the apex body of the Telugu film industry, and only the chamber would engage in discussions related to the concerns and arrive at a solution. 'Until such time, making such false claims is unacceptable. I condemn all such baseless and motivated claims to create confusion among all stakeholders. Please note,' Chiranjeevi strongly asserted. John Abraham says Malayalam cinema is making the ‘best films', praises Mammootty for playing a ‘gay politician': ‘That industry is brave'

Malayalam cinema is widely known for its realistic, content-driven storytelling, prioritising substance over star power and flashy visuals, a contrast to much of the Indian film industry. Bollywood actor-filmmaker John Abraham too has long admired their work. In an Idea Exchange session hosted by The Indian Express, John spoke about his desire to produce films inspired by Malayalam cinema and revealed that he is a huge fan of superstars Mammootty and Mohanlal. During the conversation, John Abraham shared that he finds the Malayalam film industry 'brave'. 'That industry is very brave. So, I think as of today, the best films in the country come from the Malayalam film industry. If you ask who my favourite actor is, I would say Mohanlal by light years. I love Meryl Streep also,' he said. John expressed his admiration for Mammootty for playing a 'gay politician' in Kaathal – The Core, mentioning that he is a huge fan of the Malayalam superstar. 'You look at Mammootty playing a politician and you find out in the film that he is gay. I mean, it's brave for that man to do a film like that,' he stated. John Abraham wants to produce more films in Malayalam and has even set up a writer's room in Kerala. 'I thought maybe I could borrow from some of their ideas. So, what I did was set up a writer's room in Kerala. Let's generate ideas out of there and see films that could be made nationally or only in Malayalam. I want to produce more Malayalam films because it's the right time, they are fantastic. But, I also want to produce other films,' he shared.
