Again, an amazing tournament from you but thank you for the player you are. It's so difficult to play against you,' he said. 'On the court we just try to build it up. Keep going and keep pushing, you are going to hold this trophy many times - you already have two! 'It's so special for me. Seeing my parents, brother, my whole team here, it's amazing. 'Emotionally, I had a very tough loss in Paris, but at the end of the day it doesn't matter how you win or lose. Alcaraz had won the past two editions of Wimbledon but he was beaten on this occasion 'You have to understand what you did wrong, accept the loss and keep working 'I'm so grateful I'm healthy and have great people around me. 'Any moment can change the match, so I'm so happy I held my nerve. 'Me and my team said before the match we never thought I would be here when I was young. Veteran Jess Fishlock in no rush to make decision on Wales future
Wales' most-capped player Jess Fishlock is not ready to make any decisions about her future after the major tournament debutants bowed out of Euro 2025 with a 6-1 loss to England in their final group stage encounter in St Gallen. The 38-year-old stalwart became the first Welsh woman to score a goal at a major tournament in Wednesday night's loss to France, and made more history in St Gallen on Sunday night with the nation's first major-tournament assist, providing the excellent threaded pass for substitute Hannah Cain's late consolation. Fishlock has come full circle, having made her senior debut for Wales in host country Switzerland as a teenager in 2006 and arriving back here as her side's all-time top goalscorer. 'I don't know right now,' said Fishlock, asked about her future with Wales. 'I think that's a tough one. I need to take a little seat and have a little think, but no decisions are to be made. 'As of right now, I'm still a Welsh player.' Head coach Rhian Wilkinson largely shouldered the blame for the defeat, also pointing to fitness gaps and lack of regular club minutes for many in her squad, and said it was too soon to be thinking about anyone's longer-term tenure. London Southend Airport closed, all flights cancelled after small plane crash
MANCHESTER, England, July 13 (Reuters) - London Southend Airport in Essex said that it has closed operations until further notice after the police said a small plane crashed at the airport on England's south-east coast on Sunday. All flights to and from the airport have been cancelled while police, emergency services and air accident investigators are attending the incident, London Southend Airport said in a post on X. "We remain on the scene of a serious incident at Southend Airport," the local Essex police said, adding that they were alerted just before 4 p.m. to reports of a collision involving a 12-metre (39.4-foot) plane. It was unclear how many people were on the plane. Images from British newspaper websites, not verified by Reuters, showed a fireball rising into the air above Southend Airport, around 35 miles (56 km) east of London. The East of England Ambulance Service said it had sent four ambulances and other response vehicles. The airport's website showed five international flights had been cancelled following the accident.
