Jake Paul vs Julio Cesar Chavez Jr predictions: Boxing tips and odds

Our boxing tipster Dan Fitch has predictions for the cruiserweight fight between Jake Paul and Julio Cesar Chavez Jr in the early hours of Sunday in Anaheim, California. The ringwalks are expected at 4am BST, and our man is expecting Paul to add another major name to his collection of scalps. Paul vs Chavez Jr tips Jake Paul to win by decision or technical decision @ 5/6 with Betano Holly Holm to win, Floyd Schofield to win by decision or technical decision, Gilberto Ramirez to win and Jake Paul to win @ 31/20 with Betano Odds courtesy of Betano correct at the time of publication and subject to change. Paul can handle Chavez Jr's class American Jake Paul has built his boxing career on match-ups against beatable big-name opponents. He defeated a 58-year-old Mike Tyson in his most recent bout in November and now faces a similarly faded fighter in the form of Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. The Mexican is a former middleweight world champion and the son of the legendary Julio Cesar Chavez. Blessed with a famous name and plenty of ability Chavez Jr, now 39, did not make the most of his opportunities during a career in which his dedication to training was often questioned. Making weight consistently proved to be an issue for the 6ft boxer and he will now meet Paul in a cruiserweight contest. He has only fought once in the past five years, winning unimpressively on points against the former MMA fighter Uriah Hall 12 months ago. His last loss came in 2021 to another MMA star, Anderson Silva, who Paul defeated with some ease the following year. In his prime Chavez Jr would have won this with ease, but that was a long time ago. Given his age and fitness issues, I have to assume that Paul will outwork him. A stoppage should not be ruled out, with Paul having proved on occasion that he possesses some power, but a points victory over this 10-round fight seems likelier. Undercard acca features four fights I have also put together an acca featuring four fights from the undercard, starting with a win for Holly Holm against Yolanda Vega Ochoa. This lightweight contest will be Holm's first boxing fight since 2013, but she has remained active in the world of MMA and her opponent has a weak record. In another lightweight contest, the up-and-coming Floyd Schofield faces former world champion Tevin Farmer, who remains a capable fighter. Although the younger man should win, I'm backing Tarmer to be able to take him the distance. In the co-main event, Gilberto Ramirez is expected to deal with the experienced Yuriel Dorticos, who at 39 is past his best. The WBA and WBO cruiserweight titles are on the line in this one. Finally I've added a straight win for Paul, giving us another opportunity should he win by stoppage. Paul vs Chavez Jr odds All odds courtesy of Betano. PSG vs Inter Miami predictions: Club World Cup tips and odds

Our tipster has three selections for Sunday's Club World Cup round-of-16 tie between PSG and Inter Miami at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia (kick-off, 5pm BST). We think the Parisian club will brush aside Inter Miami with ease. PSG vs Inter Miami tips PSG -2 handicap @ 11/8 with Sky Bet Inter Miami 12+ fouls committed @ 5/4 with Sky Bet Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to score @ 1/1 with Sky Bet Odds courtesy of Sky Bet. PSG to get into their stride PSG have looked sluggish in their last two outings, suffering a shock 1–0 defeat against Botafogo before edging past Seattle Sounders 2-0. But punters should expect them to comfortably secure their place in the quarter-finals, setting up a potential clash with German champions Bayern Munich. To say that Inter Miami have trouble keeping clean sheets is an understatement, with just one in their last 13 matches. They have only conceded three goals in three games at the Club World Cup, but have allowed 18 shots on target in that time in arguably the weakest group at the tournament. The French treble-winners desperately need to show some of the fire they displayed in thrashing Atletico Madrid 4-0 – and this is their chance. They have let in just one goal in their last five games, while they found the net at least three times in five successive games prior to the Botafogo defeat. It looks set up to be an incredibly one-sided affair in Atlanta, so take PSG to lay down a marker and win by three or more goals. Miami may rack up foul count Despite having no less than 50 per cent of the ball in all of their group stage matches, Inter Miami still managed to commit an average of 10 fouls per game. That figure will surely rise against a more dominant PSG side. The Parisians have had possession for 75.67 per cent of their fixtures so far. With 31C heat and severe humidity forecast, chasing the ball – and possibly the game – could lead to frustration for Miami, especially their combative midfield duo of Sergio Busquets and Federico Redondo. Botafogo committed 15 fouls when they upset the odds against PSG. That set the template for inferior teams to beat Luis Enrique's all-conquering team and Inter Miami are more than likely to have to follow suit to stand any chance of progressing to the next round. Kvaratskhelia to maintain hot streak Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has been in superb form recently, contributing four goals and two assists in his last five games. He played a major part in PSG's domestic and European success following his January move from Napoli, and he can have a starring role again on Sunday. The Georgia winger opened the scoring in the victory over Seattle Sounders and his direct style can cause plenty of problems. He had at least one shot on target in all three group games, so he has clearly got his eye in too. We've already covered how open Inter Miami's defence has been, so Kvaratskhelia is a great bet to find the back of the net at even money. PSG vs Inter Miami odds All odds courtesy of Sky Bet. Inter Milan vs Fluminense predictions: Club World Cup tips and odds

Our expert has three tips for Monday's Club World Cup round-of-16 tie between Inter Milan and Fluminense at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte (kick-off, 8pm BST). We think that the Brazilian club could make life difficult for the European giants. Inter Milan vs Fluminense tips Draw @ 5/2 with talkSPORT BET Under 0.5 goals after 30 minutes @ 1/1 with talkSPORT BET Fluminense most corners @ 9/4 with talkSPORT BET Odds courtesy of talkSPORT BET. Correct at the time of publication and subject to change. Already a talkSPORT BET member? Check out more free bets from the best betting sites, reviewed by our experts. Extra time beckons in Charlotte Fluminense are arguably the weakest of the Brazilian clubs involved at the Club World Cup, but they appear to be a side aware of their limitations who have made themselves hard to beat. They held Borussia Dortmund to a 0-0 draw in their opening game and, after a 4-2 win over Ulsan HD, then shared another goalless draw with Mamelodi Sundowns. Inter's points have not come easily. They had to come from behind both to draw with Monterey and beat Urawa Red Diamonds, and they didn't score in their 2-0 win over River Plate until the opposition had been reduced to 10 men. Everything points to this one being tight and I'm taking a chance on this match going into extra time. Early goals look unlikely Given that two of Fluminense's three games have finished goalless, it's unsurprising that the bookies are expecting this to be a low-scoring match, with under 2.5 goals priced at 13/20. Of Inter's five goals in this tournament, only one has come in the first half of a match and even that was scored in the 42nd minute. I'm backing these trends to continue and for the score to be 0-0 after 30 minutes. Fluminense can corner market Corners markets are often priced similarly to the match results markets, seemingly without too much analysis of the respective statistics. The fact that Fluminense took the most corners when they faced Borussia Dortmund has caught my eye, the Brazilians winning seven to three for the Germans. Both Fluminense and Inter have conceded 11 corners in this tournament, but the South Americans have taken 20 compared with the Italians' 13. That suggests that there should be some value in the 9/4 available for the unexpected result in the most corners market. Fluminense vs Inter Milan odds All odds courtesy of talkSPORT BET.
