Extra time beckons in Charlotte
Fluminense are arguably the weakest of the Brazilian clubs involved at the Club World Cup, but they appear to be a side aware of their limitations who have made themselves hard to beat.
They held Borussia Dortmund to a 0-0 draw in their opening game and, after a 4-2 win over Ulsan HD, then shared another goalless draw with Mamelodi Sundowns.
Inter's points have not come easily. They had to come from behind both to draw with Monterey and beat Urawa Red Diamonds, and they didn't score in their 2-0 win over River Plate until the opposition had been reduced to 10 men.
Everything points to this one being tight and I'm taking a chance on this match going into extra time.
Early goals look unlikely
Given that two of Fluminense's three games have finished goalless, it's unsurprising that the bookies are expecting this to be a low-scoring match, with under 2.5 goals priced at 13/20.
Of Inter's five goals in this tournament, only one has come in the first half of a match and even that was scored in the 42nd minute.
I'm backing these trends to continue and for the score to be 0-0 after 30 minutes.
Fluminense can corner market
Corners markets are often priced similarly to the match results markets, seemingly without too much analysis of the respective statistics.
The fact that Fluminense took the most corners when they faced Borussia Dortmund has caught my eye, the Brazilians winning seven to three for the Germans.
Both Fluminense and Inter have conceded 11 corners in this tournament, but the South Americans have taken 20 compared with the Italians' 13. That suggests that there should be some value in the 9/4 available for the unexpected result in the most corners market.

Ace Bailey fuels Utah Jazz holdout speculation following NBA Draft surprise
Ace Bailey has fueled speculation that he will holdout from the Utah Jazz, with the ex-Rutgers star reportedly yet to report to his new team. Bailey did not work out for Utah ahead of the draft, and the franchise was not one of his 'preferred destinations', ESPN's Jonathan Givony reported previously. Bailey later said on draft night that he had 'no idea' Utah were interested in him at No. 5. On Friday, Givony's ESPN colleague Brian Windhorst revealed on SportsCenter that Bailey has had 'minimal contact' with the Jazz, who expect him to be in Salt Lake City by the start of summer league training camp on Monday. Meanwhile, Bailey's new teammate and fellow-first round pick Walter Clayton Jr. has already reported to the Jazz, Windhorst said on Thursday night. 'The Jazz have said [Bailey not reporting yet] is not an issue, they allow their new players to go home,' Windhorst said on the late-night edition of SportsCenter with Scott Van Pelt. It's unclear if that team was the Jazz. Bailey was reportedly trying to engineer himself being drafted by the Wizards, Pelicans or Nets, who all drafted after the Jazz. Amid the latest reports regarding Bailey, a representative from his agency insisted on Friday that he's 'thrilled' to be going to Utah. Bailey's agent Cooper is not certified by the NBAPA, so the forward is also being represented by GSE Worldwide. 'Obviously it's an honor to be selected in the top 5 of the NBA Draft, and we think he can do a lot of great things out there, GSE president Andrew Witlieb told FOS Today. 'He certainly should get a ton of playing time and he'll have a lot of chances to show what he can do, so we think it's a great situation for him basketball wise.' Wittlieb did note that the pre-draft process, in which Bailey chose not to work out with any teams, was 'led' by Cooper. 'Omar really focused more on fit than going third in the draft kind of thing,' Wittlieb said. While the Jazz did not get the chance to workout Bailey in person, they badly need an injection of talent on their roster after winning just 17 games last year. They'll hope that changes with Clayton Jr. and (hopefully) Bailey on the roster.

NHL, NHLPA reach terms on labor pact that goes through 2029-30 season
June 27 (Reuters) - The National Hockey League and union representing its players announced on Friday that they have agreed to a four-year extension of the collective bargaining agreement that will carry through the 2029-30 season. The two parties, who made the announcement during a joint news conference, signed a memorandum of understanding and the deal requires ratification from both NHL owners and the NHL Players' Association membership. "We can all look forward to at least five years more of labor peace of the Players' Association and the NHL working together," NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman told reporters ahead of the 2025 NHL Draft in Los Angeles. "While we didn't agree on everything, we had a very constructive, professional, collaborative collective bargaining process, which I think you all know started (at the) end of March and April. The current CBA, which was signed in 2013 with a four-year extension ratified in 2020, expires in September 2026. Among the changes that have been reported is the regular season expanding to 84 games per team from 82 while the pre-season drops to four games from six per team. Reaching an agreement well before the current CBA expires is a welcome sign for a league that has experienced three lockouts in the last 30 years. "We thought that it would be good to get this conversation moving," said NHLPA Executive Director Marty Walsh, a former U.S. Labor Secretary who took on his current role in February 2023. "The process for us now is to take this agreement to the entire membership for ratification; we're going to do that over the next week or so. "I'm happy with the process. Hopefully, the players will be happy with the outcome."
