‘10 days of pain before murder by father': Tennis player Radhika Yadav's friend reveals disturbing details
In the second part of the video, Himaanshika Singh Rajput alleged that Radhika Yadav had been suffering for the last 10 days before her murder and had told her father she was willing to do whatever he says.
Calling the murder premeditated, Himaanshika said Radhika Yadav's father was planning to kill her for three days.
Preliminary probe has suggested that Radhika Yadav's 49-year-old father, Deepak Yadav, was unhappy with her success as a tennis player and growing popularity in social media as well.
'I have been with her, I knew her well. She was a very decent girl but in the last 10 days, her life had become miserable. She had told her father she's willing to do whatever he says and will live on his terms. But her father was so out of his mind that he had no expression on his face,' Himaanshika said in the video.
More revelations by Radhika Yadav's friend
Himaanshika Singh Rajput, in the first part of the video posted on Instagram, alleged that Radhika Yadav's parents were extremely controlling and were sensitive to societal pressure.
Himaanshika said she and Radhika were close for the last eight to ten years, alleged that she was suffering and felt suffocated at home as she needed to explain every activity to her parents.
'She loved getting clicked photos and recording videos but left all those hobbies due to parental pressure as they thought what society would think of them. They were extremely orthodox,' she alleged in the two and half minutes long video on her Instagram handle captioning it as 'Part-I' which has garnered more than two million views and about 3000 comments in less than 24 hours.
Himaanshika also has uploaded another video which she has especially created remembering her deceased friend Radhika.
Meanwhile, a neighbour in the native village of the Yadav family in Wazirabad, once made famous by controversial influencer Elvish Yadav, alleged Deepak was unhappy with Radhika's choice of a partner.
'Radhika wanted to marry someone outside her caste but her father wanted the marriage in the same caste. He was old school and conservative.' an earlier Hindustan Times report quoted as saying the 47-year-old neighbour, who requested anonymity.
Radhika Yadav was shot in the back four times with a licensed revolver by her father in their residence at Sector 57 Gurugram on Thursday.

Instagram influencers arrested in UP for ‘vulgar' content; earned ₹30,000/month from ‘cheap' reels
The Uttar Pradesh police have arrested two Instagram influencers - Mehak and Pari - for posting 'vulgar' content on social media to gain views. According to the First Information Report (FIR), besides the two influencers identified as Mehak and Pari (alias Nisha), two of their other team members have also been named in the case. They were arrested on Monday night. A search for Mehak and Pari on Instagram reveals multiple accounts with large followings, including '@mehakpari143', which has close to 4.8 lakh followers. Several mirror accounts have also surfaced, sharing their videos where they discuss sex-related topics and use commonly heard profanities. Police said that some of these accounts have been removed by the platform following legal directives, though a few were still accessible as of Wednesday evening (July 16). The social media influencers in question were earning 'approximately ₹ 25,000 to ₹ 30,000 per month from their Instagram content.' "Tempted by this income, they resorted to using vulgar language and obscene visuals to attract viewers and gain cheap popularity," a police official was quoted as saying. Sambhal Superintendent of Police Krishan Bishnoi told the media that Mehak, Pari, and Hina - residents of Shahbazpur village under the Asmoli police station limits - had been uploading 'reels containing obscene language, abuses and gestures.' 'Through these videos, they were crossing all limits of obscenity. There was a lot of anger among the local people and villagers due to their actions. After a complaint by the villagers, action was taken,' the officer said. 'All those who spread obscenity to gain cheap popularity on Instagram are requested not to do such things. The police will not hesitate to take strict legal action against such people,' he added. New Delhi: Independent artiste Inaam Ul Haq, who featured in a music video with tennis player Radhika Yadav, today shared a post on Instagram about the backlash he has been receiving after her death. Ms Yadav was allegedly killed by her father, and as per one of the many theories around the motive of the murder, she was killed over the music video, 'Karwaan'. The claim was earlier rejected by Inaam, who said the 25-year-old told him that her father liked the music video. Today, he shared that many people were saying that he is "gaining fame because of what happened to Radhika. That my song Karwaan is trending, and I'll earn from it." The video went viral after Radhika Yadav's murder. The singer said that he "will not keep a single rupee" from the money he would be earning from the song: "Whatever I receive from Karwaan - whether monthly royalties from or revenue, I won't keep a single rupee". The video is by Inaam, produced by Zeeshan Ahmad and released under the LLF Records label a year ago. He said every payment for the song will "go towards helping the poor, feeding the hungry, supporting the helpless, and doing something meaningful".
