Grammys draw 15.4 million viewers, raise $9 million for wildfire relief
Feb. 4 (UPI) -- The 67th annual Grammy Awards drew an audience of more than 15 million and raised nearly $9 million to support relief efforts following the Los Angeles wildfires that swept through the region in January.
The ceremony, which aired on CBS and streamed on Paramount+ Sunday, attracted some 15.4 million viewers, a press release states.
Comedian and author Trevor Noah sought donations as he hosted the event.
The show also honored those who were impacted by the fires.
"The upcoming Grammy Awards won't just be about celebrating and honoring the best in music this year. They will also show how the power of music can help rebuild, uplift and support those in need," Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. previously said.
The Recording Academy and MusiCares funneled more than $24 million toward "charitable activities" over the weekend, according to the press release.
Beyoncé's first country music album, Cowboy Carter, won her Album of the Year at the Grammys, while Kendrick Lamar's "Not Like Us" earned him Record of the Year.

After months of rumors and speculation (and endless fake spoilers), the wait is finally over. CBS has officially announced the cast of Survivor 50, the landmark golden anniversary season that's due in spring 2026. This is the first all-stars cycle since Season 40's Winners at War (2020), so fans are understandably excited to see who's returning to the island. Host Jeff Probst unveiled the cast list May 28 on CBS Mornings, approximately nine months before the season will actually air. In between now and then, Survivor 49 will debut on CBS later this fall. Since then, more than 700 people have played the game of Survivor, with each winner taking home a $1 million prize. To date, Sandra Diaz-Twine (Pearl Islands, Heroes vs. Villains) and Tony Vlachos (Cagayan, Winners at War) are the franchise's only two-time champions. In another example of fan support, CBS and Fiji Airways teamed up to award five lucky at-home "tribes" — comprising groups of friends and loved ones — with trips to Fiji to watch the filming of Season 50. Dale Moss, Lexi Young among 'Bachelor in Paradise' Season 10 cast

Dale Moss, who became engaged to Season 16 Bachelorette Clare Crawley, is among the singles looking for love in Costa Rica. "I'm really head down with travel and work and projects and things like that," he told Us Weekly. "But I definitely realized that there's more out there and sometimes you have to remove yourself from certain situations to get more clarity on that." A reel featuring the incoming singles was posted to the reality television show's official Instagram account Tuesday. "I may have caught footballs for a living, but catching hearts -- that's a natural talent," Moss says in that clip. The series follows "fan favorites from The Bachelor franchise" as they mingle and date one another. Other cast members include Jeremy Simon, Jonathan Johnson, Alexe-Anne Godin, Bailey Brown, Brian Autz, Hakeem Moulton, Jessica Edwards, Justin Glaze, Katherine Izzo, Kyle Howard, Lexi Young, Riquerdy Marinez, Sam McKinney, Spencer Conley and Zoe McGrady. On Friday, some juicy Survivor 50 spoilers were revealed from the host and showrunner himself, Jeff Probst. "OK, it is about two hours after we just started Survivor 50," Probst announced on social media. "We had our marooning challenge this morning. So, this is what I know so far."
