Inside life of HBO's Hermione Arabella Stanton and where you've seen her before

Arabella Stanton has been cast in the role of Hermione Granger in HBO's upcoming Harry Potter TV series
HBO has revealed the young stars set to embody the iconic characters Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley in its highly anticipated television adaptation of J. K Rowling's celebrated book series.
This new venture promises a "faithful adaptation" of the beloved books, with J. K Rowling herself taking a hands-on approach as an executive producer.

Fan anticipation has reached fever pitch with recent announcements revealing who will portray Albus Dumbledore, Severus Snape, and Rubeus Hagrid. However, until now, the identities of the actors portraying the core trio have been a closely guarded secret, reports Surrey Live.

An astonishing 32,000 hopefuls auditioned for the parts made famous by Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint, with the selection process asking 9 to 11-year-olds to submit a video performing a narrative or poem and another discussing someone or something dear to them.
Dominic McLaughlin is set to step into Harry Potter's shoes, while Alastair Stout will take on the role of loyal friend Ron Weasley. Meanwhile Arabella Stanton has been cast as the smart and fearless Hermione Granger.
Despite her young age, Arabella may already be recognised by some, given the 11-year-old's previous acting experience. So where might you have seen her before?
Arabella previously took on the titular character Matilda Wormwood in the West End production of Matilda the Musical between 2023 and 2024. Her acting portfolio also includes playing the narrator Control in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Starlight Express.

An Instagram account run by her parents showcases the budding star's achievements in the arts. On the eve of her 10th birthday, Arabella reflected: "I started auditioning for Matilda the Musical the week after my 9th birthday and feel so lucky and honoured to have spent the age of 9 being able to play Matilda Wormwood at the Cambridge Theatre, London for the Royal Shakespeare Company (and at Buckingham Palace for an extra special performance at the BBC 500 Words Final).
"Being able to play the part of Matilda as my West End debut has been incredible... dreams really can come true! Thank you for the opportunity @thersc. I'm hoping double digits will bring more exciting opportunities."

True to her words, just over a year later, it was announced via her Instagram that she would be stepping into the shoes of Hermione Granger, succeeding Emma Watson.
Francesca Gardiner and Mark Mylod, showrunner and executive producer respectively, celebrated the fresh cast additions, saying: "The talent of these three unique actors is wonderful to behold, and we cannot wait for the world to witness their magic together onscreen."
They also expressed their gratitude to the multitude of young stars who auditioned: "We would like to thank all the tens of thousands of children who auditioned. It's been a real pleasure to discover the plethora of young talent out there."

Spice Girl Mel B celebrates marriage with ‘spiritual' ceremony in Morocco

It comes after the 50-year-old, whose real name is Melanie Brown, married hairdresser Rory McPhee at St Paul's Cathedral in July, having announced their engagement in October 2022. In a post on Instagram, Brown said: 'We got married, again! 'A wedding so good we keep the celebration going with our closest and dearest in our fave place at @selmanmarrakech we had the time of our lives.' A post shared by 'scary spice Mel B' (@officialmelb) The singer wore a red dress with crystals and bugle beads made in a collaboration between Evelie Bridal and wedding dress designer Justin Alexander at the ceremony at the Selman Hotel on Saturday. Her choice of dress was guided by Caroline Black from London-based Evelie Bridal, who aimed to reflect her life in the US, where she is a judge on America's Got Talent. Black told the PA news agency: 'For Mel's Morocco wedding dress, we focused on trying Justin Alexander gowns with a little extra sparkle. 'Mel loved the idea of a red dress — something bold, with lots and lots of shimmer — but it also had to feel light and easy to move in. 'We drew inspiration from a variety of dresses she tried on at Evelie South Kensington, then went back and forth brainstorming with Justin Alexander and his design team. 'After several conversations and sketches, the first design took shape. Mel gave us clear feedback on what she liked and what she didn't, and the final result was beautiful. 'Mel had such a strong sense of what she wanted — it was a joy working with her and Justin Alexander to bring her vision to life.' The dress required a team of six artisans and took more than 850 hours to complete. Her husband wore an Alexander McQueen outfit featuring a white shirt and jacket with black trousers and shoes. The London wedding saw Brown joined by guests including bandmate Emma Bunton, model Daisy Lowe, and comedians Tom Allen and Katherine Ryan. The singer was previously married to Stephen Belafonte until she filed for divorce in 2017 following allegations of abuse. They have a daughter, Madison Brown Belafonte. Brown also has two daughters, Phoenix Chi Gulzar and Angel Iris Murphy Brown, from two previous relationships. With the Spice Girls, the singer had nine UK number one singles and two UK number one albums. The group was best known for songs such as Wannabe, 2 Become 1 and Who Do You Think You Are?.

The Irish centre held his hands up on his shocker in Sydney on Saturday in a 22-12 defeat, which saw the tourists miss the chance of a Wallaby whitewash. 3 Bundee Aki's wife has given birth to a daughter Credit: Instagram 3 Aki now has five children Credit: Instagram After the Lions failed to clinch a series clean sweep, Aki then announced he had become a father for the fifth time two weeks ago. The 35-year-old has yet to meet new daughter Aine, who was born in the build-up to the opening Test win in Brisbane. Wife Kayla was in New Zealand with family when she got in touch to say she was ready to give birth before he helped the Lions to a 27-19 triumph. Aki recalled: 'Credit to my wife. She's a powerful woman. I was in the hotel in Brisbane and I knew we were overdue. 'Ten minutes later, she video calls me and I was like, 'S**t, what's going on?' I saw a baby on the video call, so she had it in the car. 'They're both healthy. But their old man admitted he put in nothing close to an A-star performance in Sydney as the Lions were mauled in a monsoon. The game was suspended after half-time for 38 minutes due to lightning, with the Aussies 8-0 up through Dylan Pietsch's try and a penalty. Finn Russell was spotted in the dressing room flicking through his phone and Aki had his feet up on a bean bag before play resumed. But the Wallabies struck twice after the delay to get the victory. Aki had his worst game in an international shirt but fronted up. He said: 'I wasn't great. It was a poor game but you have those days and you have to live with it. 'We won the series and that's all we came for. 'Now, I want to enjoy my break. I haven't seen my family for eight weeks. I have a newborn child I haven't met yet.' Australia got it over the line thanks to a turbo-charged display from lock Will Skelton, who was on the wind-up all match, and second-half tries from Max Jorgensen and Tate McDermott. Jac Morgan and Will Stuart crossed to give the Lions some consolation — but Skelton had shown the Aussies the way. Wallabies scrum-half Nic White said: 'For once, someone stood up to them.'
