MSU football makes top schools list for 2026 CB prospect from Maryland Three-star cornerback Amauri Polydor of Baltimore includes Spartans in top schools list
Michigan State football has made the top six list for one of their top cornerback prospects in the 2026 class.
Amauri Polydor of Baltimore released his top six schools list on Thursday, which included the Spartans. Michigan State was joined by Penn State, South Carolina, Indiana, Maryland and Virginia Tech on Polydor's top six schools list.
Polydor is a three-star cornerback prospect in the 2026 class. He currently holds a rating of 87 on 247Sports.
Polydor ranks as the No. 60 cornerback in 247Sports' composite rankings for the 2026 class. He's also ranked as the No. 11 player from Maryland and No. 629 overall prospect in the class.
Michigan State is one of more than 10 schools to offer Polydor a scholarship, according to 247Sports. He also holds offers from Penn State, Indiana, Maryland, South Carolina, Syracuse, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, East Carolina and Buffalo.
Polydor has not yet scheduled an official visit to Michigan State for this summer, according to 247Sports. But I'm sure that'll change soon as the Spartans will want to get him on campus to help land his commitment.

Texas A&M transfer WR has reportedly earned $2.5 million in NIL earnings Texas A&M's most significant offseason addition is a matter of debate. Still, in my humble opinion, it is former NC State wide receiver KC Concepcion, who is by far the most dynamic receiver on the 2025 roster and provides starting quarterback Marcel Reed a true No. 1 option, which has been lacking since Ainais Smith departed for the NFL. Concepcion is one of the best receivers after the catch, averaging 11-plus yards per reception during his 2023 sophomore season. While his production dropped off slightly in 2024, the North Carolina native is poised for his best season yet in OC Collin Klein's offensive scheme. Off the field, Concepcion is cashing in like many of his college football counterparts in the new NIL era. According to On3's Pete Nakos, Concepcion has secured $2.5 million in NIL earnings ahead of his first season with Texas A&M, working with Sports Representatives The Familie. This is unsurprising given his importance to the program and his talent level. The House v. NCAA settlement was officially approved last Friday night, as every Power Four program will work with around $20.5 million of the school revenue with their respective college athletes, providing players like Concepcion the financial incentive while making things much clearer with each school directly paying each player. During his last two seasons at North Carolina State, Concepcion recorded 1,299 yards and 16 touchdowns, including 356 rushing yards and two scores. Travis Hunter makes CBS Sports' top 10 most dynamic college football players since 2000 Former Colorado Buffaloes superstar Travis Hunter is without question the top two-way player in college football history. But does that mean he is the most dynamic? CBS Sports' Brad Crawford ranked the 25 most dynamic college football players over the past 25 years, and Hunter, the lone Colorado Buffalo on the list, came in at No. 6. Running back Reggie Bush (USC) ranked No. 1, followed by quarterbacks Cam Newton (Auburn), Johnny Manziel (Texas A&M), Lamar Jackson (Louisville) and Vince Young (Texas). Former Oklahoma standout running back Adrian Peterson fell one spot behind Hunter at No. 7. Perhaps Crawford ranking Hunter only at No. 6 has something to do with how he defines "dynamic." He wrote that he prioritized players who "jumped off the screen" in big games or demonstrated their dominance with elite athleticism, speed, or talent. Hunter did not play in many big games at Colorado, but his athleticism and talent checked Crawford's criteria. No recency bias here -- when you become the first player in history to win the Bednarik and the Biletnikoff, it sticks. Hunter's Heisman win last season was unprecedented as the two-way starter played considerably more snaps than any player in college football history during a single season. He was special with the ball in his hands and made it a nightmare for opposing quarterbacks with ball skills and closing speed at cornerback that was second to none. In his final season at Colorado, Hunter racked up 96 receptions for 1,258 receiving yards and 16 total touchdowns on offense while adding 35 tackles, 11 pass breakups, four interceptions and a forced fumble. His Heisman-winning junior season propelled him to the top of NFL draft boards, ultimately leading to him becoming the No. 2 overall pick in the NFL draft. Hunter is attempting to become the first full-time two-way player in the NFL and has been working at both wide receiver and cornerback during the Jacksonville Jaguars' offseason practices.
