Special extended Bluey episode to be available on BBC iPlayer next month
Bluey's longest-ever episode will soon become available to stream on CBeebies and BBC iPlayer.
The popular children's TV show follows a young dog called Bluey Heeler who lives with her mother Chilli, father Bandit and little sister Bingo as they play games and explore a world of fun across seven-minute episodes.
The series' longest episode to date, The Sign, will make its free-to-air UK debut over Easter.
The 28-minute show follows Bluey and her family as they get ready for the wedding event of the year in an episode that has been described as an 'emotional rollercoaster' that bursts with adventure, romance and emergency toilet stops.
It features a star-studded cast of voice actors including Australian actress Rose Byrne, from Bridesmaids, along with Joel Edgerton, who is best known for playing Tom Buchanan in The Great Gatsby.
Composer David McCormack reprises the voice of Bluey's father, while Head Count's Melanie Zanetti continues to voice her mother in the special episode.
The Sign is part of a trilogy of Bluey episodes and comes in between Ghostbasket, where Bandit pretends to be an estate agent to sell Grannies' house to their mother while the third episode, Surprise, follows Bluey and Bingo as they want their father to play different games so he tries to attempt both at the same time.
It was announced in December that Bluey would be adapted for a feature-length film made by Disney and BBC Studios.

The film is set to be released in cinemas in 2027 before later streaming on Disney+, with producers saying it will carry the 'charm and humour' of the Australian cartoon series.
Episodes have also featured cameos from celebrity fans including actress Natalie Portman and Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda.
The Australian series rose to fame in 2018, quickly becoming a favourite with young viewers and claiming the international award at the Bafta Children And Young People Awards in 2022.

‘Snow White' becomes Disney's worst-performing live-action remake in nearly 10 years
Disney's 'Snow White' reboot is leaving a legacy it certainly doesn't want, becoming the company's worst-performing wide-release live-action remake in almost 10 years. The 2025 remake of the original 1937 movie opened March 21 in the US and Canada, and has struggled, earning barely $200 million worldwide. The film's page on calls the movie 'officially a flop,' and says its $205.5 million earnings are 'miles behind its massive $410 million total cost,' including marketing, production, and other items. The site calls the film's disappointing performance 'a financial blow which few expected to be this severe, especially with the losses already estimated at over $115 million, per Collider.' 'Pete's Dragon,' a 2016 Disney remake of the 1977 film, came away with $143.7 million, $61.8 million less than 'Snow White.' The 'Snow White' remake was not without its controversies, which perhaps contributed to the film's poor reception. Over three years before the film's release, one A-list actor with dwarfism had Walt Disney Studios reframe how it portrayed the classic seven dwarfs characters. Rachel Zegler, the film's lead actress, faced backlash on social media for comments she made that were critical of the 1937 version of 'Snow White.' 'I mean, you know, the original cartoon came out in 1937 and very evidently so,' Zegler said during Disney's D23 Expo in 2022. 'There's a big focus on her love story with a guy who literally stalks her. Weird! Weird. In an August 2024 X post talking about the official trailer for 'Snow White,' the actress wrote, 'And always remember, free Palestine.' However, if you head to the FAQ, you'll find a very interesting hint that she's about to embark on an Australian tour. There's a whole section about pre-sale ticket access, which customers could receive when buying certain products. It's worth noting no products currently include a pre-sale code, but this could be added when a tour is announced.
