Robert Kirkman Teases Massive Roster of Playable Characters for Invincible VS: 'That's a Spoiler. I Might Get in Trouble for That'
Invincible VS is the upcoming 3v3 tag fighting game set in the Invincible universe. It's developed by Skybound Entertainment's first in-house game studio, Quarter Up. Already confirmed Invincible VS characters include Mark Grayson (Invincible), Atom Eve, Thula, Bulletproof, and Rex Splode. Check out IGN's Invincible VS preview from June for more.
Fresh from his SDCC 2025 panel where he announced Battle Beast for Invincible VS, Kirkman told IGN that if fans are wondering if a specific character from either the Invincible comic or the Prime Video animated series will be in the game, there's a '99%' chance they will be.
This, the ever chatty Kirkman added, was perhaps a spoiler.
'There's so much care being put into being true to the Invincible universe,' Kirkman began. 'So if you're a fan of the comics or the show and you're like, 'Oh, there's a fighting game coming, who would I like to be in that fighting game?' There's a 99% chance they're going to be in the game. I'll just say that. That's a spoiler. I might get in trouble for that. I don't know.'
Kirkman continued: 'The lineup is going to be absolutely insane. I'm so glad that we announced Battle Beast. You can't do an Invincible fighting game without having Battle Beast be one of the playable characters. There are other characters like that that will more than likely be in the game. So we'll see. We've got a lot of announcements to roll out. There's a really great team working on this and I can't wait for people to see everything is going into it.'
Who would you like to see playable in Invincible VS? Let us know in the comments below.
As for when Invincible VS will be released, Kirkman said 2026, which we knew already, but then he added: 'Sooner than you may think… But next year. I'm not being specific.' Interesting...

PEACEMAKER Season 2 Will Reportedly Clear Up DCEU to DCU Continuity — GeekTyrant
The series Peacemaker began at the beginning of 2022, after having shot through 2021. It wasn't until the end of 2022 that the show's creator, James Gunn, was hired to take over the running of the studio with Peter Safran, effectively shaking up the willy nilly style of the DCEU, and streamlining the studio to run more similarly to Marvel, and becoming the DCU. Now we are about to see season 2 of Peacemaker , and things are a little different in his world, but will that be addressed? A new rumor claims that small changes will be seen in the new season. Industry scooper @MyTimeToShineH explains: "The first episode of Peacemaker Season 2 opens with 'Previously in the DCU.' It's mostly all Season 1 footage, but there are a couple of changes. Danielle Brooks' character now talks about calling in the Justice Gang, and they reshot the Justice League cameo from the finale. 'Now, it's Mister Terrific, Superman, [Guy Gardner], Hawkgirl, and Supergirl (all but [Green Lantern] and Hawkgirl are in shadow)." This would be an easy way to stay consistent with the groundwork that was laid in Superman . And we only have just over a week to see how it all pans out. Season 2 of Peacemaker kicks off on HBO/Max on August 21st.

Home Depot's Infamous Skelly Finds a Voice With New App for Halloween
Make no bones about it: Skelly's going high tech. Home Depot's popular 12-foot-tall skeleton decoration is coming back to life this Halloween with an app that lets you give the new Ultra Skelly a voice and new moves to scare the trick-or-treaters. The new animatronic version is shorter than the original, at 6.5 feet tall, but you can freak out your whole neighborhood with this skeleton's rotating upper torso, moving mouth and 18 LCD eye variations (ew). Skelly can now chat with visitors through five preset recordings and up to 30 seconds of custom recording, plus Bluetooth capabilities that let you interact in real time. And you can modulate your voice to make everything sound extra spooky. Skelly was originally launched in 2020, when the pandemic forced people to celebrate Halloween at a distance. Perhaps because of its giant stature -- it's easy to spot, even when social distancing -- the skeleton became a hit and has been resurrected every year since with upgrades and friends. This year those friends include dragons, trolls, scarecrows and a Skelly Cat (not to be confused with Smelly Cat). You can order Skelly and co now on the Home Depot website or app for $279.

Logan Marshall-Green Joins New YELLOWSTONE Spinoff Series Y: MARSHALS — GeekTyrant
CBS is diving deeper into the Yellowstone universe with its next big series Y: Marshals , and it just added a familiar face to the cast. Logan Marshall-Green has officially signed on to join the drama, which centers around Luke Grimes' character Kayce Dutton. Marshall-Green will portray Pete Calvin, a close friend of Kayce's from his time in the military. The character sounds like he'll be a key player in the show's action-driven narrative, which is setting out to blend the gritty world of U.S. Marshals with the rugged cowboy ethos we've come to expect from Taylor Sheridan's storytelling. According to the official logline: 'With the Yellowstone Ranch behind him, Dutton joins an elite unit of U.S. Marshals, combining his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana, where he and his teammates must balance family, duty and the high psychological cost that comes with serving as the last line of defense in the region's war on violence.' Y: Marshals is scheduled to debut in the middle of the 2025-2026 broadcast season with a 13-episode run on CBS. Episodes will air on Sunday nights. This new chapter in the Yellowstone franchise brings in Spencer Hudnut as writer and showrunner. The pilot will be directed by Greg Yaitanes, and it's being produced by MTV Entertainment Studios along with 101 Studios. Taylor Sheridan is executive producing alongside David C. Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Grimes, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yar, Michael Friedman, Keith Cox, and Yaitanes. For fans of genre film and television, Marshall-Green is no stranger. He's best known for roles in the action-horror cult hit Upgrade , Ridley Scott's sci-fi prequel Prometheus , and Christopher Nolan's upcoming epic The Odyssey . He also appeared in Spider-Man: Homecoming , Snowden , The Invitation , and Ava DuVernay's When They See Us . With its mix of modern western grit, elite law enforcement action, and deep character ties to the original Yellowstone saga, Y: Marshals is shaping up to be one of the most exciting new dramas in the upcoming TV slate.
