Meghan Markle and Prince Harry brutally mocked on SNL as TV host 'makes swipe'
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle became the butt of the joke on Saturday Night Live, with host Colin Jost delivering a sharp quip about the couple during the show's latest airing.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who were spotted looking quite smitten at Beyonce's Cowboy Carter concert in Los Angeles, found themselves the subject of Jost's humour as he recapped top news stories.
Jost, speaking directly to viewers during the Weekend Update segment, touched upon the recent trade discussions between Sir Keir Starmer and US President Donald Trump. He quipped: "President Trump also announced a new trade deal with the U.K. that will reopen British markets for American companies. All that Britain demands in return is that we keep these two," while an image of Harry and Meghan flashed up behind him.

This jest followed the proclamation of a "historic" trade agreement with the UK, which saw Starmer contributing via a phone call to the White House.
In another part of the episode, actor Walton Goggins was seen responding to some sensational headlines regarding his newfound status as a sex symbol, with particular focus on his "sexy receding hairline".

Goggins, known for his role in The White Lotus, commented on his character Rick Hatchett, saying he "is pretty brooding, which the internet seemed to find attractive.", reports the Express.
Goggins shared a laugh about his unexpected status as a sex symbol at 53, quipping: "Fantastic...until I Googled myself and read some of the headlines," then highlighted a Cosmopolitan headline that said: "Are We All Horny for Walton Goggins's Receding Hairline?".
He humorously defended his hairline with: "I've had the same hairline since I was seven. It's not receding. It's holding its ground!".
Reading out another piece, he found amusement in Slate's words: "His Hair Is Greasy. His Eyes Are Bulging. I Think I'm in Love, which he called " which he described as "Beautiful journalism."
Yahoo News chimed in with their take, dubbing him: "Hollywood's Newest Heartthrob Is a Greasy, Depressing Little Man Whom No One Saw Coming."
Goggins couldn't help but joke about the language used, saying: "For some reason, the part of that headline that offends me the most is the word 'whom'. It just sounds pretentious."

ITV Coronation Street stars' real-life age gap leaves fans stunned
Coronation Street stars Claire Sweeney and Alan Halsall play mother and son duo Cassie and Tyrone Dobbs, but fans have been left seriously shocked by their real-life age gap Coronation Street fans have been left stunned by the real-life age difference between Claire Sweeney and Alan Halsall, who portray mother-son duo Cassie and Tyrone. Alan first appeared on our screens as Tyrone in the iconic ITV soap back in 1998. Since then, he's become a main character of the show, featuring in numerous significant storylines. From his romantic links and subsequent marriage to Fiz Brown (Jennie McAlpine) to enduring domestic abuse from his fiancée Kirsty Soames (Natalie Gumede), Tyrone's stint in Weatherfield has been anything but uneventful. Cassie on the other hand made her Weatherfield debut in 2023 as Tyrone's estranged mother and a recovering drug addict. It didn't take long for her to find herself caught up in some drama. Earlier this year, she was responsible for poisoning Ken Barlow (William Roache) who she was caring for, in a shocking attempt to extend her presence in his life, as reported by the Mirror. In a dramatic turn of events, Ken was rushed to hospital following a heart attack and thankfully he survived. The truth about Cassie's role in Ken's health scare was eventually unveiled, leaving the community, including Tyrone, horrified. Despite everything, Ken forgave her and she has since moved back in with Tyrone. Adding to the intrigue, Cassie has recently rekindled her romance with Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) and the pair gone public with their relationship. However, away from the cameras, fans have been intrigued by the age difference between actors Claire and Alan. Claire is 54 and Alan is 42, which means there's a 12 year age gap between the two stars. However, their on-screen characters, Cassie and Tyrone, have a larger age difference of nearly 16 years. "Just found out that Claire Sweeney and Corrie son Alan have an 12-year age-gap wth," one person expressed surprise on a Corrie Facebook fan page. Another added: "Another unrealistic age gap." A third was taken aback, commenting on the social media platform: "Oh wow I didn't realise that." Yet another wrote: "I've said from the start she doesn't look old enough to be Tyrone's mum."
