Disney Ride Passengers ‘Dumbfounded' After Man Jumps From Log to Wander With His Son Causing ‘40 Minute' Delay

A Disney World guest left fellow passengers on a ride frustrated after ignoring instructions to remain seated during its brief pause.
On Thursday, March 6, the unidentified man was on the Tiana's Bayou Adventure water ride in Magic Kingdom, when he decided to 'jump out of his log with his kid." The ride had been paused for around 10 minutes before his antics caused it to be delayed further, according to an anonymous member of the Walt Disney World Tips and Tricks Public Facebook Group.
'Shout out to this guy, who held up everyone on Tiana's for 30-40 minutes because he and his son jumped out of their log,' the Facebook user wrote in a now-deleted post, per Disney news outlet Wow News Today.
According to the post, the guest exited the carriage despite 'very clear announcements to remain seated.'

'The cast members came over the speaker three times — yes, three times — asking him to get back into the log, and he refused,' the post continued.
The Facebook member said the man 'began shining his phone flashlight around, looking for an exit' and 'waving the bright light in [the] faces' of the seated guests, leaving them 'dumbfounded' at the situation.
According to the post, the man was told to wait at the ride and he and his child were eventually escorted out by employees, per Wow News Today.
'We went from a 10-minute ride pause to a 30-40 minute ride pause because of this guy,' they wrote. '...There was absolutely no need for this to happen. This guy is teaching his son that the rules don't matter and you can do whatever you want, even if it inconveniences everyone else.'

Tiana's Bayou Adventure officially opened at Disney World Resort in Florida on June 28, 2024, and Disneyland in California on Nov. 15, 2024.
The ride, which replaced Splash Mountain, was created in homage of Princess Tiana from the groundbreaking 2009 Disney animated film Princess and the Frog and it is set in New Orleans Square like the picture.
This latest incident at Disneyland comes after several recent incidents at the resort where the guests have refused to follow the rules. In January, a guest was caught stealing an out-of-order sign and putting it on her scooter. A woman was also tasered at Disney's Port Orleans Resort for her drunken behavior, per Wow News Today.
Disney didn't immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.

'Love Is Blind 'Alum Marshall Glaze Says Last Year Was 'Very Tough' for Him: 'I Was Going to Take My Own Life'

Marshall Glaze, who appeared on season 4 of Love Is Blind, discussed his mental health challenges on the Wednesday, June 4, edition of What's the Reality? podcast During the podcast, he discussed contemplating suicide, saying, "Last year was just very tough for me mentally, and I was going to take my own life" He recalled realizing that he wanted to "live" and said that he hoped sharing his story would allow him to "heal"Marshall Glaze is getting candid about his mental health journey. The season 4 Love Is Blind star was a guest on the Wednesday, June 4, edition of Amber Desiree "AD" Smith's podcast, What's the Reality?, during which he discussed his mental health journey over the past year. "Last year was just very tough for me mentally, and I was going to take my own life. It just got to a point where I had always been morbidly curious, but never thought about how to do it," he said. "And then, one day, I'm just down in the dumps, just crazy depressed. Nothing is going right for me in my life or I feel like nothing is going right, that's what my internal monologue is telling me," continued Glaze. The star went on to note that "those voices, that darkness just got a little bit louder, got a little bit darker." Glaze described feeling like he was "in this box," and "the walls were just getting closer and closer and closer." "No favorite meal, no favorite movie, no favorite song, could lift me out of that," he said. "I knew I had a problem when, this particular time I talked to my mom, I was okay with that being the last time I talked to her." Glaze said he knew what he was going through was "bad" because his mother was someone he talked to "multiple times throughout the day." "I was going to do what I felt like I had to do, but I couldn't," he continued, adding that he then went for a walk that he "will never forget." "Seattle is a very rainy city, and this was at peak rain season, and I lived on a very busy street in downtown Seattle, and at any time of the day, there's buses, cars, bikes, people walking, and nobody was out there," said Glaze. He recalled walking around in the rain while wearing a cut-off t-shirt, basketball shorts and a pair of slides. "I walked around the Space Needle, came around back to my apartment, and I'm like, 'I want to live,' " he said. Glaze said that sharing his story ultimately helps him "heal." "I hope that someone out there can resonate with that and choose life," he concluded. Keanu Reeves Sets Off Engagement Talk With Girlfriend Alexandra Grant

John Wick star Keanu Reeves and his girlfriend Alexandra Grant set off engagement talk. The buzz ignited because of the couple's red carpet appearance in Los Angeles. A ring on Grant's finger got people talking. According to People, Reeves, 60, showed up at the world premiere of the movie From the World of John Wick: Ballerina on June 3 holding hands with long-time girlfriend, Grant. The couple posed for many pictures on the red carpet, and the photos from Getty Images show her with rings on both of her hands. People described Grant as an "accomplished visual artist." According to Elle, Grant showed up to the premiere with "a noticeable diamond ring" on her left ring finger," sparking "speculation that the pair might have quietly gotten engaged." It's not the first time that Grant has been spotted wearing a ring; she flashed one in April when she was photographed getting close with Reeves, Page Six reported. Reeves gushed about Grant in an interview with Entertainment Tonight in 2024 during another red carpet appearance, so the couple has been going strong for some time. "We got up and it was very exciting and just kind of nerve-wracking in the car, getting out. It's really special to be side by side," he told ET. He said of seeing Grant in her dress then, "The heart just opens." Reeves and Grant met at a dinner party in 2009, but they weren't connected romantically for another 10 years, according to Page Six. According to Page Six, the couple were dating for "years" before the public figured it out. Fans enjoyed the June 3 photos. "Love to see Keanu smiling :) and they seem so natural together. Well wishes :)," wrote one fan on X. "They are so cute together. Glad to see Keanu has someone in his life. How social media is transforming wedding days

A wedding content creator said described how more couples are embracing seeing their big day through the candid lens of a mobile phone. Geared with just an iPhone, Beth Denman, 25, and her team take thousands of photos and videos during weddings, which are edited into short form content for social media. She started Social Scenes from her home in Attleborough, Norfolk, two years ago and has now grown it into a team of five. "It's very candid and in the moment... it's the moments that are often missed by the bride and groom," Ms Denman said. She first discovered wedding content creation in 2023, on social media posts from Australia. Ms Denman estimated that, at the time, there were just three other wedding creators in Norfolk. "I thought that I could totally do this. I noticed that no-one was really doing it in Norfolk," she said. She estimates there are now about 20 people providing a similar service across the county. The wedding planning website, Hitched, has reported a 586% rise in searches for wedding content creators in 2025. Ms Denman said she plays the role of the "uninvited but invited guest". "We blend in with the shadows and we gravitate around the wedding to capture different parts," she added. Wedding creators such as Ms Denman work alongside traditional photographers and videographers to capture the big day. Although they may seem similar, Ms Denman said wedding creators worked candidly, sometimes providing content for couples within 24 hours. "I think if people see it as the death of the photographer or videographer, they're getting the complete wrong conception," she added. "Content creators aren't a replacement for anybody... we are an addition." Wedding photographer Ellie Gillard agrees that the services they provide differ. Ms Gillard has been a wedding photographer in Norfolk and London for 14 years, and has photographed more than 400 weddings. "Content creators serve a different purpose in the grand scheme of things," she said. "It's great for people who are very present on social media - the content that they give you are almost instant. "But people have had photographers at their wedding since photography began, and it fits that tradition." She has previously worked with content creators and believes their job is not as simple as some may think. "The growth of content creators means that some people think it's fun, that they can turn up and just point their phones at things," she said. "But there is more to it than that... it's really important that you blend into the day seamlessly." Follow Norfolk news on BBC Sounds, Facebook, Instagram and X.
