Man faces child sex crimes charges in South GA; officials say more victims possible
The Lee County Sheriff's Office is warning the community more child victims of sexual abuse may be out there after a man was booked on sex crimes charges.
James Cortez Moss was booked Tuesday, the sheriff's office said.

He's been charged with aggravated sodomy - commit sodomy with force of a child under 10, aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery and two counts of rape and incest, officials said.
The charges are related to sex crimes Moss allegedly committed in November 2022 and April of this year.
Lee County Sheriff's Office Special Victims Unit is continuing its investigation.

The special victims unit is urging people to contact them at 229-759-6034 if they know someone affected or if they have any information on the case.
'Your voice matters, and your report could help bring justice and prevent further harm,' the Lee County Sheriff's Office said.
Dougherty County Sheriff's Office assisted with Moss's arrest, Lee County authorities said.
Lee County is just north of Albany in southern Georgia.

Many people recover without seeking medical care and without being tested for Salmonella. Salmonella bacteria can make people sick with an illness called salmonellosis, the CDC said. The bacteria is a leading cause of food-borne illnesses, hospitalizations and deaths. People who are young, old or have weakened immune systems are particularly at risk for severe infections, health officials say. Talk to your physician if you have concerning symptoms, including diarrhea and/or vomiting that lasts longer than two days, blood in your stool or urine, a fever higher than 102 degrees and signs of dehydration. Man arrested in connection to shooting that left 2 Ohio police officers injured
The man suspected of shooting and injuring two police officers has been arrested, according to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office. Body camera footage showed the moment a suspect opened fire on two Ohio police officers this week. [DOWNLOAD: Free WHIO-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] Franklin County Sheriff Dallas Baldwin said two Mifflin Township police officers were conducting a traffic stop near Mecca Road and Perdue Avenue around 6:45 p.m. The passenger got out of the car and began running. 'When officers pursued the suspect, he turned around and opened fire, hitting both officers,' the Franklin County Sheriff's Office said. As previously reported by News Center 7, Franklin County Sheriff Dallas Baldwin called the shooting 'unprovoked.' Peachtree City police use ‘pursuit yeet technique' on fleeing car, caught on video
Police in Peachtree City said they used what they termed a 'pursuit yeet technique' on a car after a man fled a traffic stop on Thursday. Police said Paul Orndorff had a 'habitual violator' revocation of his license but was driving. He also has pending felony charges from a neighboring jurisdiction. Video shows the police vehicle colliding into the car. The car spins 360 degrees and slides against the concrete median. The police vehicle is shown hitting the car again, and it goes over the median and into the oncoming lanes. It eventually comes to a stop in a turning lane on an intersecting road.
