Key Panathinaikos ace ruled out of Champions League decider vs Rangers
Panathinaikos are relying on a bumper crowd at the Olympic Stadium to help them overturn the 2-0 deficit - something they have never managed to do on seven previous attempts.
But they will have to do it without 39-times capped star Siopis, who had a spell in the English Championship with Cardiff City until he moved to Panathinaikos earlier this year.

Panathinaikos stated: "Our preparation for the rematch against Rangers continued this weekend with morning training sessions at our stadium.
"However, Manolis Siopis underwent treatment for a first-degree sprain to his sacrum in his spine that he suffered in Friday's training session.
"After a scan, he is expected to be out of action for approximately ten days."
The Greeks are already without the suspended Giorgos Vayannidi, after he was sent off at Ibrox in the first leg.

The draw for the Last 16 of the 2025/26 Scottish League Cup was made on Sunday afternoon with Hearts and Hibs both being handed all Premiership ties away from home. Jakob Breum has given Celtic his transfer answer amid shifting £6.5m standoff
Go Ahead Eagles are sticking to their big money price tag for the 21-year-old winger Celtic have seen Go Ahead Eagles dig in over their valuation of Jakob Breum - but the winger has already opened the door to a move. The Hoops are in need of reinforcements on the flanks after Nicolas Kuhn joined Como in a £17.2million deal - while Jota is sidelined until next year. "It's not like I have certain leagues that I just have to go to. But of course I'm aiming for as high a level as possible because it's the dream to play against the very best." The firm stance by the Eagles over a sale also marks a shift in the club's position from last season - when sporting director Paul Bosvelt opened the door to a departure. He told Tipsbladet: "He is a class player. This kid is going to reach the top in Holland and the international sub-top. "He can play football, he is fast and he can beat a player. These are the ingredients that modern football requires. "I would think that there is a very good chance that we will sell him in the summer transfer window."
