"The Beast" from The Chase, otherwise known as Mark Labbett, has become the subject of a rather humorous incident on Celebs Go Dating after he was said to have nodded off during a date.
The brainbox and stalwart of the popular ITV quiz show, 58 year old Labbett, apparently struggled to keep his eyes open as the cameras rolled, capturing this unintended snooze mid-date.
Filming for the latest instalment of Celebs Go Dating last month, a source spilled the beans that there wasn't much chemistry between the quiz titan and his date.

Spilling the beans, an insider dished:. "Mark was yawning a lot and drifted off briefly. It was a bit of an awkward moment. It's safe to say there wasn't much of a spark between them.", reports the Mirror.
Mark Labbett, who once tipped the scales at 29 stone, walked down the aisle with his second cousin Katie back in 2014 but went their separate ways after a marriage spanning six years.
The Express carried reports of his subsequent relationship and split with TV presenter Hayley Palmer in 2023, which lasted a year.
Reflecting on his split with Hayley, now 43, Labbett shared with The Sun:.
"She's a lovely lady and I was very lucky to date her for a year, and as I said: it's me, I got old."
He elaborated: "There's been no one since Hayley. I'm not saying there won't be another one. But I'm certainly not looking."
Labbett opened up about his days of solitude, musing:.
"I was single, not coincidentally, for a long, long time when I was a 29st maths teacher who knew it was quite hard to attract a partner then. So I'm quite comfortable without a partner."
Mark's spokesperson delivered a sharp-witted comeback when asked about the sleepy encounter:.
"If his date was as boring as you have suggested, I'm surprised he didn't take a pillow with him!".
Celebs Go Dating opted to keep mum on the matter.

Love Island star unrecognisable in pre-hair transplant video
Footage uncovered on YouTube shows a Love Island star looking completely unrecognisable, prior to a hair transplant in Turkey. Harry Cooksley, 30, a contestant on this year's series of the ITV dating show, jetted off to Turkey in 2018 to undergo the procedure. Appearing in a YouTube video posted by the clinic he visited in Istanbul, Cooksley can be seen with much thinner hair as he chats to professionals ahead of the transplant. The semi-professional footballer, who now sports a mullet, described the procedure as 'the perfect experience'.
