Our top picks of Ring Video Doorbell deals as Amazon slashes prices across range

Daily Record22-05-2025

In limited time deals, Amazon has cut prices across with Ring Doorbell range, with markdowns going up to £70.
Every homeowner wants to make sure that their property is safe while they are out and about or on a trip abroad. Thankfully, this can now easily be done with the increasing popularity of video doorbells.
From monitoring what is going on outside your home through a live video connected to your phone, to having a two-way conversation with the postman while you are away from the house, these nifty doorbells have given homeowners across the UK extra peace of mind.
While there are many devices on the market, one of the most popular is the Ring Video Doorbell. And their demand doesn't appear to be waning, with some of their models being purchased by thousands of people in the last 30 days.
For those interested in investing in this popular home security device, now is the best time to shop as Amazon has cut prices across the range. From bundle deals to basic devices, Amazon has placed many of the highly sought after Ring products on sale.
However, before revealing our top five picks from the sale, it should be noted that Ring Video Doorbells require a subscription to gain full access to all their features - but each device in the sale comes with a 30-day free Ring Home trial.
Top five picks from the Ring Video Doorbell deals
Ring Battery Video Doorbell (2024 release) - was £99.99 now £59.99
The cheapest item in the sale is the 2024 edition of the Ring Battery Video Doorbell. Saving shoppers £40, this compact device can be installed 'in a snap'. With night vision and a head-to-view, shoppers will be able to clearly see who is outside their home.
However, in order to avoid constant notifications, users can activate the Person Alerts feature to their phone to ensure that they are only notified when human activity is detected. Similarly, Package Alerts can be added so users know when their latest delivery has arrived.
Bought by over 4,000 Amazon shoppers in the last 30 days, many shoppers have given the doorbell high praise. One reviewer said: "I couldn't be happier with my Ring doorbell. Easy to fit and set up, the video quality is great, the camera has a wide line of sight too."
However, not everyone was as pleased, with another shopper saying: "This is a brilliant product, but nowhere does it say that it will cost you £7.99 a month to actually see anything. There is a free trial period where you can see back to who came etc, but it's fairly useless without the subscription."

Saving shoppers £70, this bundle deal comes with an indoor camera that can let users monitor what is happening inside their home. This is perfect for households who have a new pet as they can check in on them through a real-time live video.
This camera can be placed on a flat surface or mounted onto a wall with its versatile bracket to get a clearer view of the room. Additionally, the camera comes with a privacy cover so users can choose to stop recording once they enter their home.
One Amazon shopper gave the indoor camera a five-star rating, saying: "Fantastic Camera, really good coverage and helps to keep an eye on things when away from the house. Especially as we have 3 cats and a dog to keep an eye on."
However, another reviewer felt that the device could do a better job, writing: "Installation and setup was a breeze however not impressed with the range covered."

Ring Battery Video Doorbell + Chime - was £129.98, now £79.99
Another bundle deal includes Ring's Chime device. This device allows those at home to hear the doorbell being rung loud and clear as it can be connected to exisTing Ring Doorbells and cameras.
The device can be easily be set up by plugging it into a standard power socket and then connected via Wi-Fi. From the Ring app, users can choose from a variety of chime tones, adjust the volume and turn on Do Not Disturb mode.
As currently one of Amazon's best sellers, one delighted shopper wrote: "Great item, so easy to install and connect to Ring door bell. Very happy with item, can't fault it at all."
However, another shopper experienced an issue with the device, adding: "This Ring chime is very easy to set up and sound great with a choice of chimes. Unfortunately it goes offline every couple of days and has to be constantly unplugged from the mains socket and plugged back in for it to work again."
Ring Battery Video Doorbell Pro + Chime Pro - was £249.98, now £189.99
For shoppers who are happy to splash a bit more cash for the Pro edition of both the Ring Doorbell and Chime, Amazon has slashed £60 off this bundle deal.
The Ring Doorbell Pro features a 1536p HD video, as well as 3D motion detection and 'bird's eye' zones, allowing users to pinpoint when and where a motion event begins in an aerial map view. The Chime Pro is a 3-in-1 device, which includes a Wi-Fi extender for any Ring Devices, a nightlight and a chime box, to bring added peace of mind to the home.
Many shoppers have gushed about the more advanced Ring Doorbell, with one shopper writing: "Absolutely love the Ring Battery Video Doorbell Pro! From the moment I installed it (which was super easy and took less than 10 minutes), I could see a huge difference in the quality and performance compared to previous models.
"The video is incredibly clear, even at night, and the two-way audio is crisp and responsive."
By contrast, another shopper couldn't see much of a difference, noting: "Ring doorbells are great and this one is no exception but I don't see any different from this Pro doorbell to the normal one. Any other extra feature it says it will use more battery."

Ring Peephole Camera - was £119.99, now £89.99
One of the lesser known items in the sale is the Ring Peephole Camera. Working with standard sized peepholes, ranging from 12mm to 14mm in diameter, this camera still allows users to see, hear and speak to visitors wherever they are.
Available in for doors between 34-55mm or 54-75mm in thickness, this device also allows useRS to send Quick Replies to those outside their home through pre-selected messages. Like other Ring devices, this Peephole can be connected to Alexa to inform users who is at the door.
This alternative doorbell has been a hit with shoppers, as one person wrote: "This ring door cam is a lifesaver. Being in a wheelchair I have difficulty getting to the door quickly. But with the motion detection, picture quality, knock alert and a friendly announcement, people know to wait for me. Brilliant for both an aid and security. Highly recommend ring products."
Additionally, another reviewer gave shoppers some advice: "Would highly recommend, picture and sound quality is excellent. Easy set up, only thing I would say is I bought the wrong size doorbell as I went for the bigger size and the bolt is too long for a standard door. So anyone unsure if your door is a standard one, go for the smaller size."

Poundland 7 Poundland's desk fan is a fantastic low budget option Credit: Poundland Poundland is selling a 4-inch desk fan for just £3 and its one of the cheapest options around. If you'd rather shop online, Amazon is stocking the same 4-inch fan for £3.99. Asda also has handheld fans for £1.50 and a 9-inch desk fan for £15 if you're after something slightly bigger. For those looking for the cheapest on the go cooler, it has to be Asda's £1.50 handheld fan. Although Home Bargains £5 neck fan is another great option for when you're on the go. How to compare prices While all these deals are solid, it's important to remember that not every 'sale' price is actually a bargain. That's where price comparison tools can come in handy. Websites like Google Shopping let you type in a product name or model number to instantly compare prices across dozens of retailers. PriceSpy is great if you want to look at a product's price history – it tracks prices from over 3,000 stores including Amazon, Argos and the major supermarkets. Idealo works in a similar way and ranks products from the cheapest to the most expensive, while CamelCamelCamel focuses on Amazon deals specifically, showing you how prices have changed over time. Shopping around and doing a quick search can save you serious money and stop you getting caught out by sneaky markups. Just don't forget to factor in delivery fees and check stock before heading to stores to avoid disappointment.

Ninja 'non-stick' pan drops to £19 in Amazon sale as shoppers buy more in the range

'This is the first pan I've had in my 20 years of adult life that's actually non-stick and needs no oil.' While many people enjoy the art of cooking and making delicious meals, not so many of us enjoy the clean up afterwards - especially if stubborn excess food is stuck to our cooking appliances and refuses to come off. In order to reduce this issue, many brands have come out with non-stick products to make your cooking experience more enjoyable. One such brand is Ninja. Mostly known for their high-tech Air Fryers, the brand also sells a whole host of kitchen essentials. One of which is the ZEROSTICK Essentials Cookware 20cm Frying Pan. Normally retailing for £30, Amazon has slashed the must-have kitchen appliance down to £18.49 in a limited time deal. Made from long-lasting forced aluminium, the Ninja ZEROSTICK Frying Pans are designed to be up to 20 times tougher than traditional non-stick pans, reports Birmingham Live. Compatible with ceramic and induction hobs, the pans are also said to be oven safe up to 260 degrees. Perfect for frying crispy bacon, sizzling steaks, pancakes, eggs and much more, this pan allows users to cook with little to no oil. Without compromising on cooking performance, food can easily slide out of the pan without sticking. Equipped with stainless steel handles, the Ninja frying pan is also said to be metal utensil safe, dishwasher safe and scratch resistant. For those in need of some new cookware, the Ninja collection may be a good range to consider. Alternatively, Amazon is also selling the Tefal Titanium Essential Frying Pan for £19. With a size of 20cm, this frying pan is designed to be compatible with all hobs and is equipped with Tefal's Thermo-Signal technology which indicates the ideal time to start cooking. Over on Argos, the Tower Smart Start Classic 28cm Aluminium Frying Pan is retailing for the slightly cheaper price of £15. With a built-in temperature sensor that "lets you cook like a pro", the Smart Start tick will change to dark red to let users know when it is time to start cooking. Back to the Ninja non-stick frying pan, it currently has a 4.6 star rating from over 2,300 Amazon shoppers. On top of this, over 900 people have bought the frying pan in the last 30 days, with some coming back and saying that it "works perfectly". One happy shopper said: "I spent more than I usually do on this pan, and honestly, it's well worth it. The construction is solid and weighty, the non stick is great and the heat retention is the best I have come across. Things keep cooking ( and staying warm ) long after I have switched off the hob. A great purchase." Another added: "I'm always a bit sceptical of extensively hyped products, but this pan really is good: substantial with a securely fitted handle. Six months on, the non-stick is excellent and it actually is possible to cook with a minimum of oil without anything sticking. We've gone on to buy three more items in the same range." However, one shopper wasn't happy with the size of the pan, writing: "It was not the size I was expecting. The actual frying area is only 15cm diameter, my last "20cm" fry pan had an 18cm diameter frying area - quite a difference. I am not sure I want to keep it so I haven't tried it out." Another shopper also grumbled: "Good quality frying pan with excellent non stick characteristic that matches manufacturers description. However, only works on my induction hob small rings and not the large ones, hence, me giving it four stars and not five." Despite this, a five-star reviewer added: "Use this everyday nearly. Fantastic little pan, great for making omelettes. Non-stick so easy to clean, and made from quality materials, so it's very sturdy." A sixth customer also wrote: "Often pan adverts show you cooking fried eggs, without needing any oil - they're all rubbish! This is the first pan I've had in my 20 years of adult life that's actually non-stick and needs no oil. "I love we can use it on the hob and put straight into the oven. I love that. After six months of being in the dishwasher most days, it still works perfectly." For those who want to buy the Ninja ZEROSTICK Essentials Cookware 20cm Frying Pan, click HERE. Three Amazon Fire TV gadgets to lose access to Netflix FOREVER in three days – final warning to upgrade

that were also roughly a decade old Last year, the Netflix app vanished from dozens of Sony and Apple TV models that were also roughly a decade old BURNT OUT Three Amazon Fire TV gadgets to lose access to Netflix FOREVER in three days – final warning to upgrade NETFLIX is pulling its app from three Amazon Fire TV gadgets next week - so your subscription might be worthless unless you upgrade your tech. From 3 June, two Fire Sticks and a Fire TV box will lose Netflix forever. Advertisement 2 First-generation Fire TV Stick Credit: Amazon 2 First-generation Fire TV box Credit: Amazon The shutdown affects the first-generation Fire TV box, Fire TV Stick, and Fire TV Stick with Alexa voice remote - Amazon's oldest telly products. They are all more than a decade old. Even Amazon quit support for the devices several years ago - meaning they no longer receive software or security updates. But if you still use your OG Fire Stick, you should have received an email from Netflix warning of the upcoming change, according to PC World. Advertisement The first-generation Fire TV devices will continue to work as they have done - simply without Netflix. They have all the other apps, such as BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, All 4, Prime Video and Disney+ - for now. It's worth noting that like Netflix, other platforms may too decide to pull their services from ageing tech later down the line. Affected viewers who want to continue having uninterrupted access to Netflix will have to buy a newer Fire TV gadget - or a telly streaming rival like a Roku Stick or Google Streamer. Advertisement If you don't want to upgrade to a new Fire TV device, you should cancel your subscription, to avoid paying fees on something you can't watch. Legal ways to slash your Roku and Amazon Fire Stick TV bills by 100% – and Netflix 'plan swap' saves you money The streaming giant hasn't said exactly why it's pulling support for older gadgets. Last year, the Netflix app vanished from dozens of Sony and Apple TV models that were also roughly a decade old. A report from CordBusters noted that the decision was likely put down to newer video standards. Advertisement When streaming services start using newer technology, older devices may not have the necessary hardware or software to support the advancements. That's why some gadgets stop receiving new features, or are unable to stream in 4K picture quality. It's worth noting that while older devices don't necessarily need new features or better picture - security updates are always helpful. Security updates patch any bugs that can be exploited by cybercriminals, or fix glitches that can hinder your use of the device. Advertisement
