Save 37% on easy to install Ring Outdoor Camera duo that 'gives peace of mind'
The Ring Outdoor Camera Battery is a wireless alternative to CCTV If you're looking for a reliable, wireless alternative to a traditional CCTV system, the Ring Outdoor Camera might be worth considering. With features designed to enhance home security without the hassle of hardwiring, it's become a popular pick for those wanting flexible and simple surveillance. The bundle of two cameras is available now on Amazon for £99.99, down from £159.98, a 37 percent discount. This HD camera supports 1080p video, two-way talk, WiFi, and works with Alexa. The two camera bundle comes in a clean white finish and is packed with features, including HD video and night vision, so you can monitor outdoor spaces even in low light. Its adjustable motion detection and customisable zones help reduce unnecessary alerts, and thanks to its weather-resistant design, it can be mounted almost anywhere outside. Ring says the setup is simple. 'Powered by a removable Quick Release Battery Pack,' the camera's battery can be recharged or swapped out with ease. You'll also get a 30-day free trial of Ring Home, which allows you to save recorded videos for up to 180 days and receive person alerts and more. Without the subscription, which starts from £4.99 a month, features like video storage are limited. The product currently holds an average rating of 4.5 out of 5 stars from over 16,000 reviews, indicating it's a popular choice. If you're weighing your options, there are some decent alternatives available. The eufy Security SoloCam S340 is a solar-powered wireless camera with dual lenses, 3K resolution, and 360 degree surveillance. It's a pricier option at £124 (RRP £179), but it doesn't require a subscription and has a 4.4-star rating from 2,024 reviews. For a more budget-friendly choice, the TP-Link Tapo C310 offers 3MP resolution and wired installation for just £29.99. It has earned an impressive 4.7-star rating from 616 reviews. But if it's the Ring cameras you're after, you're not alone, it continues to earn praise from users, with many calling it a solid choice for home security. One user wrote: "Good cameras that work well. Easy to install. Wide angle for large viewing area. Gives peace of mind… batteries last a reasonable time." However, not everyone was impressed. One reviewer said: 'To use this without a subscription makes it pretty useless… Do not waste your money.' Another user shared: 'Fab little outdoor camera, ideal for keeping an eye on your puppy/kids in the garden… excellent video quality also works in low light in the night.' I reviewed Ring's latest doorbell - and it's now 40 per cent cheaper for payday
I reviewed Ring's latest doorbell - and it's now 40 per cent cheaper for payday This Ring Video Doorbell is the latest video doorbell from Amazon's smart home brand and has had a £40 price cut The Ring Doorbell can be taken off to charge up every few weeks. (Image: Amazon ) Video doorbells can be a real boon for everyone, particularly when Brits wish to monitor their home or anticipate an important parcel delivery. However, they can sometimes be pricey. The good news is that Ring has reduced the price of its latest doorbell just in time for payday - now only £59.99, down from £99.99. This is Ring's latest doorbell, and it's incredibly easy to set up, taking just five minutes. Thanks to Ring Home, users can also store clips and videos on the cloud. READ MORE: Nutrition expert says mushroom coffee offers an energy boost 'without the crash' READ MORE: Victoria's Secret swimsuit is £140 cheaper than designer version It features 1440x1440 video quality to provide shoppers with a clearer view of what's happening at their front door, even in low light. A head-to-toe view allows users to see more of people and packages. If shoppers are concerned about their neighbours' privacy, they can block out areas of the view from the doorbell. With Privacy Zones activated, the device will no longer display or record anything within those areas, reports the Express. If a video doorbell has been on the mind for a while, there are alternatives. Eufy has a chime and video doorbell combo on Argos for around £100 with a discount code. Google also has its own doorbell for £179 if shoppers want to go all out. I also reviewed the Ring doorbell back in 2024, and I was super impressed with its performance and ease of setup. Keep up to date with what's going on at your front door with this Ring doorbell from Amazon. (Image: Amazon ) Compared to my current Ring Video Doorbell Pro, the setup process for this new model is much simpler and quicker, with fewer components involved. The package includes a new push-pin that's easy to install, and the doorbell itself clips securely into the bracket, so there's no need to worry about it becoming loose. Ring has also introduced a new push-pin tool that comes in a box, which allows users to detach the doorbell from the bracket. The quick-release battery, usually included with the doorbell, is built into the device, allowing them to charge the entire unit as one, without the need to fiddle with a screw, as I've had to do (on numerous occasions) with my Ring Video Doorbell Pro. Article continues below The image and video quality on the Ring is 1440p x 1440p, just slightly less than the 1536p HD video on the Pro version, but the difference is hardly noticeable when you compare them side by side. The video quality is sharp, rivalling some of the best video doorbells available on the market. However, Ring places many features behind a monthly paywall, including previews on the mobile app and round-the-clock recording. This could deter many customers, and we can't fault potential buyers for wanting to overlook it.

But with the motion detection, picture quality, knock alert and a friendly announcement, people know to wait for me. Brilliant for both an aid and security. Highly recommend ring products." Additionally, another reviewer gave shoppers some advice: "Would highly recommend, picture and sound quality is excellent.
