He will play alongside ex-Celtic flop Jonjoe Kenny.

As is customary at clubs, players sing initiation songs. Things were no different for Taylor in Greece, as he belted out ABBA's 'Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)' in front of his new teammates.
Taylor recently made his debut for PAOK in a 2-1 friendly defeat to Ajax.
Despite the loss, he was praised by boss Razvan Lucescu post-match.
He said: "Greg Taylor is just a super player and we also have Jonjoe Kenny, who showed a lot of intensity and energy.
"They both showed they will be very comfortable in our team and both already looked at home.
"Both of them have fitted in well to the team and I am happy with their preparations for our first game of the season.
"There is still a lot of work to be done to prepare, but I am very pleased with the way the players have adapted to their new club. They will be big players for us this season."

Brendan Rodgers has laughed off suggestions that he was sending a message to the Celtic board by ditching his club tie for the 2-0 win over Aberdeen at Pittodrie on Sunday. In a light-hearted moment during his pre-match press conference ahead of the Premier Sports Cup last 16 clash with Falkirk at Parkhead on Friday night, Rodgers was asked for his reaction to claims made supporters online that, by not sporting his usual attire, he may have been displaying his frustration over the club's lack of new signings this summer. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad A caller on the Radio Clyde Superscoreboard phone-in also described Rodgers' lack of tie as "alarming for every Celtic fan" and an indication that he would be leaving the club at the end of the season when his current contract is due to expire. Rodgers, however, put the conspiracy theories to bed by insisting the weather was to blame for his appearance. (Photo by Craig Williamson / SNS Group) | SNS Group 'It's unbelievable," he replied. "Someone has told me this here. I'm supposedly sending messages. It's unbelievable. I'm basically like everyone else. See when it's really hot, you either have to take off your jacket or your tie. And see when it's really cold, you wear a jumper. "So I remember last year I wore a jumper. People say, he's sending a message. What message? It was bloody freezing. I was standing with a jumper on and a big coat and it was up to there and I'm fine. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad "And last week, there were two grounds that I've realised in my career that are absolutely boiling, right? If you get it at the at the time and the sun's hitting your dugout. Pittodrie and Preston. "I went there once before and I got absolutely roasted on the on the day and Pittodrie's the same because the sun comes and it hits you. So I thought, well, I've either got to take off my jacket or take off my tie. So I took my tie off. I don't know what message that is. I'm just warm. "This is modern football. So, I'm sorry if I've wasted people's energy and time on being wrong, but I was just a wee bit hot and that's why I was no tie." Rodgers was also asked whether any new signings would be arriving before the Champions League play-off first leg against Kairat Almaty at Celtic Park on Wednesday. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad "Hopefully would be the answer to that," he said. "We have right up until, I believe, the day before the game to change our squad, so hopefully that can be the case. "I don't want to dwell too much on it. It's been constant and I'm not clever enough to say the same thing 20 times differently. So we hope that we can improve it, and hopefully by then we will do." Benjamin Nygren during a Celtic training session at Lennoxtown on Thursday. (Photo by Craig Williamson / SNS Group) | SNS Group Celtic have parted with only £3.5million in the transfer window thus far with modest sums spent recruiting midfielder Benjamin Nygren, striker Shin Yamada and left-back Hayato Inamura. Kieran Tierney returned to the club on a free from Arsenal while centre-back Jahmai Simpson-Pusey has arrived on loan from Manchester City. Celtic have yet to replace winger Nicolas Kuhn, who was sold to Como for £16.5 million on July 11. Asked whether the lack of transfer activity had become a frustration, Rodgers' added: "No, I'm philosophical about it. I think that the club has always notoriously done business towards the end of the window. I think that all managers and coaches want the players in as soon as we can because pre-season is for preparation and you want to be as prepared as you possibly can be. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad "With the players we get in or not, what I know is that the players that are here have, and what has gone unnoticed a little bit is that we've made a really good start. We've had two really good wins, played well, and I know we'll get better. But I can't knock the performance over the two games to get the results. And sometimes that has been clouded a wee bit in all the negativity around the transfers. So I'm really just trying to focus on the guys that are here. There's lots of stuff going on in the background and then hopefully we can come out of the end of the market in a good place." Rodgers also addressed the situation surrounding Daizen Maeda amid reported transfer interest in the Japanese forward after a stellar 2024-25 campaign. Discussions have taken place around a contract extension, with his current deal due to expire in 2027, but no agreement has been reached as yet. "There have been discussions going on in the background, but I don't have updates on it," Rodgers said. "He's been here four years, he's progressed every year he's been here and finished off a brilliant season for him.

I felt betrayed by Celtic and wasted a year of my career after board ignored transfer bids
The former Hoops ace was unhappy that the Parkhead board refused to sanction two moves Former Celtic keeper Benjamin Siegrist claims he felt BETRAYED by the club after wasting a year of his career in the stands. The Swiss shotstopper was signed by Ange Postecoglou in 2022 from Dundee United to serve as a deputy for No1 Joe Hart. He made only a couple of appearances for the Hoops in his debut season before being demoted to third choice under Brendan Rodgers. Siegrist held a heart-to-heart with Rodgers in the Irishman's first summer back at Parkhead and was told he was free to find another club. He told the Bondi Podcast: "I just wanted to have a chat with the manager, obviously Joe's going to be playing and he said, 'Yeah you're not really for me.' "He said, 'You've not been able to adapt to the system well enough to play,' and I said 'Yeah, fair enough, I understand, I feel it.' "It's hard to do when you never play and in training Joe would get all the reps and I'm like, 'how can I get better if I don't really get the reps?' "I was like 'No problem, this is how football works.' I said 'Can I sort myself out?' He said, 'Yeah, speak to your agent and see what we can do.'" But the 33-year-old claims he was given mixed messages after the club's hierarchy blocked a quick-fire exit - freezing him out of the game until January. He said: "I had an offer from a team that I was willing to go to. They [Celtic] said yes, initially, then they changed their mind. "Now I was stuck with the transfer window shutting, and again, a lot of people don't get this - they never see me again because I'm not in match day squads because I've been demoted to number three. "It's my job, I'm not complaining, but I felt like I needed to play to get my confidence back. "It was a team that was playing European football at the time, it was a yes, then the next day it was no, this doesn't work, that doesn't work. "As a player, you're not wanted by the manager, another team wants you, you can go on loan and you've been told to sit as a number three when you could be playing Europa League. "I said it's not ideal but I have a job, I'm employed, I'm going to do my number three role until January and then try again." Siegrist refused to throw his toys out of the pram and decided to bide his time until the winter window reopened. However, the giant keeper was left frustrated again when the club refused to sanction his exit and, he claims, ignored loan offers from a European team. Siegirst says he had cleared his locker and was ready to join the unnamed club before the move collapsed due to Celtic's lack of communication. He said: "In January, exactly the same scenario. I had another team going for a league in another country - a top division - playing European football. "I was on holiday, actually, everything was agreed and then I found out that Celtic just hadn't responded to that team in four weeks. "I spoke to Stevie (Woods) and he said, 'Yeah I think in January you can go.' It always felt like a win-win to everyone. I was still under contract, if they wanted to sell me I'd have higher re-sale value. "I spoke to the new team, the sporting director, the goalie coach, it was a done deal. I was ready to pack up. "I went on holiday because it's the last season we had a winter break and spoke to my agent and said I hadn't heard anything. "Some people on the Celtic board just didn't respond to enquiries from the other team. Why not? It's a good question. "Ultimately, Celtic did what was best for them; they needed three keepers at base. "It's not that I wanted to leave Celtic because it's a bad club - I wanted to prove myself and find a loan. "When you go into the office and speak to the manager - there was no problem between me and Brendan Rodgers - it was always respectful. "But there were things going on internally that the message I was getting from the manager was not the same as the board. "That was really frustrating because ultimately all I wanted to do was play and I was denied that opportunity twice." Siegrist also felt he was being unfairly painted in a bad picture, with fans unaware of his own challenging circumstances. He said: "It just felt like a lost year because as a number three, you're just training. Fans are saying 'What's he doing,? He's not good enough.' "I'm training as much, even more than the other ones, now I'm getting painted in a bad light. "I'm in a tricky situation where some of the fans don't like you because they think you're a waste of space, when all I wanted was an opportunity to play so I looked for an outside opportunity. "Half the fans think you're good, half think you're a waste of space and your career is on hold - it's really mentally a difficult space to be. "The hope of playing European football was there and you have to give your list for Champions League football. "We had a lot of transfers and it just wasn't right the way it was handled. "I was denied to go on loan with the reasoning being we need you for Champions League, you have to have three goalkeepers for Champions League. "When the Champions League list came out they said we can't take you in as we have too many foreigners. "It felt like a kick in the teeth and I felt a little bit betrayed by that. "But I did my best. I also have an obligation to my teammates to be the best version of myself in training and I was still celebrating the success with them. "You can't be a bad egg, I just don't believe in it. I tried to be the best professional I could be. "Your teammates always understand. But the board didn't understand that. "It's an absolute privilege to play for Celtic but when you have the chance to play somewhere else and accelerate your career and get confidence back, that wasn't really something on their mind." Siegirst was eventually allowed to quit Glasgow last summer as he linked up with Neil Lennon at Romanian club Rapid Bucharest. He's now on the books of Serie A side Genoa.

Despite the painful break-up, it's hoped this - and his recent return to England playing for Dagenham & Redbridge - will be the fresh start Andy needs to get back to being himself. An insider told The Sun: 'Behind all the glitz and glamour on social media, Andy's been really going through it. 'He was recently on a family holiday with Lou and his parents, talking about the future now he's back home in England. 'It's undeniable that Andy misses parts of how his life once was. "He's become dependent on Lou who has undoubtedly been there for him, but everyone can see they don't bring out the best in each other. 'It's been very toxic for a long time, which Andy's loved ones have seen first-hand. 'They've been worried about the dynamics of their relationship. They like Lou, but little things would often turn into big arguments. 'It came from a place of passionate, intense love, as there's so much deep feeling there between them, but ultimately it just doesn't work. 'Their fallouts in public would cause a scene. So much so, the police were even called out in Mykonos. 'Everyone who loves Andy just wants him to get back to himself, in a happy and more stable place.' Ex-England star Andy Carroll DUMPS Lou Teasdale after police quiz over boozy rows as he tells pals he's 'sick' of her Holiday drama The ex-couple got together weeks after he split from Towie star Billi, mum to three of his five kids, in summer 2024. But they called it quits two months after Andy was twice-quizzed by cops over drunken bust-ups with Lou on the Greek party island of Mykonos. He was warned after their first argument at a beachside restaurant, then taken to the police station after a second row at their hotel that evening. Andy was not arrested, and it is understood that no further action was taken. Yesterday, we told of their fiery break-up after their clashing lifestyles reached boiling point. Sources said teetotal Lou would prefer Andy to quit drinking - and hoped to work through their issues. 5 Andy poses with Lou Teasdale at his signing on a free transfer for non-league side Dagenham & Redbridge in July Credit: Ian Whittaker 5 The footballer is back playing in England after leaving France Credit: Getty She slapped down reports that her friends 'hated' Andy - insisting they had nothing but love for the former Newcastle footballer. 'Nasty and not true', said Lou - who counts pop star Harry Styles as a close pal - in a post on Instagram. The celebrity make-up artist was wiped off Andy's social media before news of their split broke. But she has kept loved-up snaps of them together on Instagram - even though he unfollowed her. Our source added: "Andy has been adamant that he just wants to focus on football and his kids. "But he still has so much love for Lou, so friends are worried they'll both be dragged back into the toxic relationship. "They're both taking time to work out their next steps. Andy needs to find what makes him truly content and happy."
