The Red Devils remain interested in the 25-year-old, who scored five goals and provided two assists in 49 appearances across all competitions in 2024-25.
His convincing performances with La Dea even led to his senior debut for Brazil in June 2024.
Ederson joined Atalanta on a permanent transfer from Salernitana in 2022 for €22.9m.

Having more than one club interested in the player clearly goes in Atalanta's favour, as La Dea hopes for a bidding war for the talented midfielder.
Al-Hilal have been in talks with several Serie A stars over the last few days, including Milan's Theo Hernandez.
They have also sent an offer to Inter coach Simone Inzaghi, who will discuss his future in a meeting with Nerazzurri President Beppe Marotta today.

FC Porto will be based at Rutgers University's Piscataway campus, CR Flamengo will train out of Stockton University's campus just outside of Atlantic City and Al Ahly will be based at the Pingry School in Basking Ridge. All four teams will primarily play their group stage matches in the Northeast. 'The clubs, their players, coaches, management, staff and fans will build incredible connections with the local people that support them throughout the tournament,' FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafström said in a statement. The 32-team tournament will begin on Saturday, June 14, with a match between Al Ahly and MLS side Inter Miami. The first game of the Club World Cup at MetLife Stadium will be the following day between Brazilian side Palmeiras and FC Porto.

Kimberly-Clark nears $3.5 billion sale of global tissue business to Suzano, WSJ reports

(Reuters) -Kimberly-Clark is nearing a sale of its Kleenex and tissue businesses outside of North America for around $3.5 billion to Brazilian pulpmaker Suzano, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter. A deal could be completed as soon as Thursday, the report said on Wednesday. Reuters could not immediately confirm the report. Kimberly-Clark and Suzano did not immediately respond to requests for comments. Reuters had reported in April citing people with knowledge of the matter that along with Suzano, Southeast Asia's Royal Golden Eagle (RGE) and Asia Pulp & Paper Co (APP) were the final bidders for Kimberly-Clark's international tissue business, valued at around $4 billion. The unit, which was put on the block by Kimberly-Clark as part of a restructuring initiated last year, generates around $500 million in annual earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA). The sale is proceeding as U.S. President Donald Trump's broad trade tariffs weigh on Kimberly-Clark's business outlook. The consumer goods company slashed its annual profit forecast due to increased costs in April as a result of the tariffs. In 2022, Suzano announced a deal to buy the Irving, Texas-headquartered company's tissue paper operations in Brazil for an undisclosed sum.
