As it centered on the docked vessel, a saucer-shaped object was snapped whizzing past the lens at great speed, as reported by What's The Jam.
When the footage was slowed down, the alleged UFO appeared to be made of a dark, shiny metallic material.
The object seemed to be flying at an almost imperceptible speed.
It was filmed by a live webcam on the coast of Cozumel near Cancun, Mexico on May 18.
One local said, 'What was that?
'It flew by so fast. What do you think?'
A second added: 'Interesting…'
Another added: 'An insect, what else?'
A fourth remarked: 'A big bird?'
The sighting comes after footage surfaced in April of mysterious flying objects menacing a US warship as it faced off against two "Tic Tac" aircrafts.
Sailors aboard the USS Jackson claimed to have seen four UFOs in total.
The objects were seen taking off in "synchronized" flight off the coast of southern California.
The incident took place in February 2023.
Chilling new UFO footage shows US warship facing off with 'Tic Tac' aircraft as four mysterious objects menace destroyer
"All we witnessed was all four of them. All in synchronous, jetting into the abyss," stunned sailors told News 8 at the time.
ARE UFO SIGHTINGS RISING?
There has been an uptick in UFO sightings since 2024.
In December, strange lights were seen in the sky above several US states, most notably New Jersey.
Officials claimed that people were likely seeing civilian aircraft, government, military, or drones in the night sky.
While the Pentagon insisted at the time that the objects were not dangerous, NJ officials demanded answers.
Shortly after the sightings, the House Intelligence Committee held a classified, closed briefing.
"One question people should be asking is this: given that this week's official statement said sightings were caused by people misidentifying ordinary drones, aircraft, helicopters, and stars, why was the House Intelligence Committee briefing classified?" world-renowned UFO expert Nick Pope told The U.S. Sun.
Pope also expressed his reservations about the response from then-Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas regarding the flying objects.
"While I don't want to make this a party political issue, there's no getting away from the fact that one of the people assuring us there's no threat is [Mayorkas], who's been responsible for the chaos at the Southern border for the last few years," Pope said.
"This hardly inspires confidence."

The beauty influencer was staying at the Coco Resort & Villas Hotel with family and friends in Motul, west of Cancun, Mexico. She had been chatting with them around the cenote-style pool before they made their way to bed at around midnight. Luz was left alone before she was later seen floating lifeless in the hotel pool. The tragic athlete was retrieved from the water and emergency services were called immediately, according to NeedToKnow. Paramedics rushed to the scene but could do nothing to save the young woman's life. The area was then cordoned off by authorities as officials from the Attorney General's Office arrived to conduct a preliminary investigation. According to local reports, the bodybuilder had actually received threatening banners which were hung outside her gym in Merida. These appeared just two weeks before her death. Luz removed the signs herself and destroyed them - but never informed police of the suspicious ordeal. Missing TikToker Hannah Moody, 31, posted tragic final video before she vanished as her body is found two weeks later Similarly, in 2017, thugs threatened her and her then-partner Chiri Roberto, a former state prosecutor. In a seemingly unrelated accident in 2023, her gym was the scene of a tragic death when a barbell fell on top of a young man, allegedly due to a trainer's carelessness. But cops are now probing whether any of these deaths could be related to the passing of Luz on Sunday. The bombshell bodybuilder was the vice president of the Yucatecan Association of Bodybuilding and Fitness (AFFEY). She owned her own gym in Merida and sponsored a Bodybuilding Tournament in Motul. And she was crowned Fitness Champion at the 2017 Mister Mexico bodybuilding contest. On top of those achievements, she also won the female bikini category at the Mr Olympia Amateur competition held in Spain, and was crowned queen of the Motul Carnival in 2024. AFFEY president Evangelina Cimé Mézquita mourned the decorated athlete and model on Facebook. She said: 'Sometimes it's impossible to understand why certain things happen. 'We will miss you. Your boundless joy, your simple manner. 'May God comfort your entire family.'

Fuming Brits spot sunlounger hoggers seven HOURS before the pool opens – only to foil their plans
A BUNCH of Brits revealed the sneaky way they foiled sunlounger hoggers on holiday - who tried to steal bed spaces at 2AM. Mandy Boyd, from South Wales, was staying at Aquasol Aparthotel near Magaluf at the time. 5 A group of Brits spotted cheeky tourists trying to reserve sunloungers seven hours too early Credit: Jam Press/@mandylb3 5 Mandy was staying at the Aquasol Aparthotel near Magaluf at the time Credit: Jam Press 5 The pair rushed down at 2am to take the towels away Credit: Jam Press/@mandylb3 While sitting on her balcony at 2am, she spotted some lads she thought were taking a cheeky dip in the pool. The 34-year-old quickly realised the young men were attempting to secure the best beds seven hours too early. The pool was not actually opening until 9am the following day. The group of four girls watched on as the lads pulled out their sunloungers to try and secure the best spots. Mandy and her friends quietly waited on the balcony for the perfect moment to run down and take the towels. Accompanied by her friend Sally Willows the pair got down to the pool and quickly snatched the towels on Sunday. She told Luxury Travel Daily: "I hate it when people reserve sunbeds and don't use them all day. 'I just find it really inconsiderate. 'It was shocking to see them reserving beds at 2am, especially when there was zero chance of those lads being up to enjoy them. 'We kept the towels but made sure we left them where they would find them.' 'You picked on the wrong person!' Jo Townsend said: "Guarantee they wouldn't have come down to the pool until about 11am as well.' Sue added: 'You have taken sunbed wars to a whole new level.' Jaynie said: 'Well done ladies.' Lou said: 'B***** hell girls, this is taking sunbed wars too far.' One added: 'You should've left a ransom note.' Here are some other unusual methods people have used while trying to get a good sunbed in Spain. And it's not just Spain - a woman staying at a resort in Egypt was left fuming by 6:30am hoggers. 5 People praised the group for taking the towels away Credit: Jam Press/@mandylb3

Bogieville review – trailer-park vampire thriller is filled with prosthetic fangs
Something has definitely gone awry when the best acting in a film comes from a little kid playing a supporting vampire. In this case, it's Poppie Jae Hughes, having the time of her life hissing and snarling, caked in makeup and rocking some evil looking prosthetic fangs. Perhaps Hughes outclasses the adults so easily because her role doesn't require much in the way of dialogue. The rest of the cast are mostly British actors hamming it up with absurd sounding 'southern' American accents that range widely across the territory below the Mason-Dixon line. Compelled to deliver way more dialogue than they can feasibly handle given their meagre performing skills, it's not pretty. Otherwise this is a cheap as chips but not unamusing farrago that unfolds in a wee vampire community known as Bogieville, a trailer park where visitors either become lunch or never leave. The latter seems to be the fate of unlucky couple Ham (Arifin Putra) and Jody (Eloise Lovell Anderson) who stumble on Bogieville accidentally, and are chosen by the sole non-vampiric resident, caretaker Crawford (Hanathan Hansler), to look after the community after he dies someday. While the young lovers are subjected to vast wodges of verbal exposition and clunky flashbacks from Crawford, the film occasionally cuts away to the police and a doctor (Angela Dixon) who have cottoned on to the bloodsuckers' presence in the vicinity and are out to hunt them down. Director Sean Cronin also plays Bogieville's undead leader; every line of his dialogue is rendered in a subsonic, incomprehensible growl, which sort of goes for his directing style too. At least the makeup and the gore effects are competently executed, making the ensemble look like blood smeared meat-puppets on a rampage. Bogieville is on digital platforms from 9 June.
