Jennifer Garner's Love Life Update Amid Ben Affleck Reconciliation Rumors

Yahoo13-02-2025
Despite ongoing speculation about her close bond with ex-husband Ben Affleck, is not rekindling a romance with him, according to sources close to the actress.
The 52-year-old star, who shares three children, Violet, 19, Fin, 16, and Samuel, 12, with , remains content in her current relationship with businessman John Miller.
Even as Ben Affleck navigates his divorce from , insiders insist that Jennifer Garner's dynamic with him is purely supportive and amicable.
While Garner and Affleck have been spotted spending more time together, sources reveal that her bond with Miller remains strong.
"Everything is fine with John and Jen," an insider told Us Weekly on Wednesday, shutting down rumors that Miller might be feeling uneasy about his girlfriend's ongoing support for Affleck. "Those close to them haven't heard of any issues."
Reports indicate that Garner has been a pillar of support for Affleck as he copes with his split from Lopez.
A separate source previously shared in August 2024 that Affleck had "confided in Jen in a lot of ways," especially during the rocky months leading up to his separation.
"She was hopeful that things would work out between [Ben and J.Lo], but of course, she just wants them to be happy," the source added. "So she supports whatever path they've decided to take."
Last week, the "13 Going On 30" actress and her boyfriend were spotted sharing a heartfelt embrace during a rare public outing. The affectionate moment, captured in the middle of the street, showed the couple parting ways with a warm hug.
For the casual outing, Garner opted for a black hoodie and green leggings with white racing stripes, while Miller, the chairman of CaliGroup, kept it laid-back in a light blue flannel shirt and jeans.
Their sighting came just a day after reports suggested that Miller may have been uncomfortable with the close friendship between Garner and Affleck.
As Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner continue to spend more time together, especially over the holidays, rumors circulated that their growing bond reportedly creates tension in Garner's relationship with longtime boyfriend John Miller.
According to a source who spoke with Page Six, Miller has started to feel like a "third wheel" as Affleck and Garner grow increasingly close. While the businessman has always understood their co-parenting dynamic, recent developments have left him questioning whether their relationship has gone beyond just raising their three children.
'John knows Ben and Jen have been leaning on each other more than ever lately and have a really close relationship,' the insider revealed. What was once a strictly co-parenting arrangement has now evolved, with Affleck and Garner texting, calling, and communicating more than they have in years.
'It used to be solely about the kids, but John feels like it could be more than just about their co-parenting relationship,' the source explained. 'He doesn't feel threatened in terms of Jen ever getting back with Ben, but at the same time, it's hard not to feel jealous when it's clear they have a strong connection and friendship.'
Tensions reportedly grew over the holiday season when the "Pearl Harbor" actor spent both Thanksgiving and Christmas with Garner and their children. 'Their growing bond is getting to be a bit much when Ben spends all the holidays with them, like Christmas and Thanksgiving,' the insider added.
Miller, who has been dating Garner for several years, is said to feel like he's on the outside looking in as Affleck's presence in her life increases, though the new reports claim otherwise.
Garner and Affleck were married for 10 years before separating in 2015, and while they have maintained a close co-parenting relationship, the recent shift in their dynamic had led to speculation about how it might impact Garner's relationship with Miller in the long run.
But, as speculation swirls about Affleck's personal life, it seems clear that Garner remains focused on maintaining a peaceful co-parenting dynamic with her ex while fully committed to her relationship with Miller.

All About Eve Jobs's Husband, Harry Charles

Eve Jobs is the youngest daughter of the late Steve Jobs, the famous founder of Apple, and his former wife, Laurene. On Saturday, Eve married famous equestrian Harry Charles in the Cotswolds. The Jobs family reportedly went all out for the luxurious wedding, but Laurene has stated in the past that wealth accumulation has not been a priority in the family. She told the New York Times in 2020 that the tech mogul 'didn't care about the accumulation of wealth' and she decided to dedicate her life to 'doing the very best I can to distribute it effectively, in ways that lift up individuals and communities in a sustainable way.' She added, 'I'm not interested in legacy wealth building, and my children know that. Steve wasn't interested in that. If I live long enough, it ends with me.' Eve and her new husband, however, did spend a lot on their ceremony, according to Us Weekly, who stated it was held at St. Michael and All Angels in Great Tew, followed by a reception at the private members' club and hotel Estelle Manor. There, Sir Elton John serenaded the couple and guests—the perfect way to kick off a new marriage. Here's everything to know about Eve and her relationship with Charles so far. Harry Charles is a 26-year-old Olympian, who first represented Great Britain at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. There, he competed in individual jumping and team jumping. In 2024, he was a member of the British Team again and won a gold for show jumping at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics. He even won that medal with a fractured arm strapped to his side from an earlier injury, with the help of his horse, Romeo. Per the Daily Mail, he also has had success outside the Olympics, at the London International Horse Show in 2021 with three wins, including winning the World Cup competition with Stardust and the Grand Prix with Borsato. Charles comes from a long line of horse people. His father, Peter, is also a former Olympic equestrian and was on Team GB when Britain won their first team jumping gold medal in 60 years at the 2012 London Summer Olympics. They reportedly began dating in 2022 and got engaged in September 2024. They likely have bonded over horses, because Eve has a passion for equestrian hobbies as well. She even competes, most recently at The Defender Stakes in the Castle Arena in May 2025. A source told the U.S. Sun that their Cotswolds ceremony would be a 'society wedding like no other.' 'The sleepy village in which it's taking place feels like it's turning into a no-go zone, with secret service operatives and blokes who look like they work for the FBI,' the insider said. 'This is a very quiet place not far from the Cotswolds. Everyone is used to tourists and famous faces, but this is something else.' In photos from the event, it does appear as though people lined up to check out the arrivals at the church. According to The Times, there was a celebrity guest list, including Kamala Harris, Bill and Melinda Gates' daughter Jennifer Gates Nassar, and chef Ruth Rogers and Bruce Springsteen's daughter, Jessica Springsteen, who also served as a bridesmaid.

Julia Garner spills on Silver Surfer secrets: 'I never looked so cool'

Julia Garner is enjoying her chrome era. There was instant fan love when Garner's Silver Surfer first appeared in a trailer for Marvel's 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' (in theaters now). Since then, the character has inspired Instagram cosplayers as well as TikTokers meme-ing her in-movie message, heralding the coming of planet-devouring Galactus. 'I don't have a TikTok,' Garner says. 'People have been talking about TikTok. They're like, 'Did you know that this was going to be a thing on TikTok?' I'm like, no. I'm in disbelief that people even know me.' Playing the silver alien Shalla-Bal, though, 'I never looked so cool in my life,' Garner adds with a laugh. 'This looks almost like a Met Gala look or some high fashion thing.' Join our Watch Party! Sign up to receive USA TODAY's movie and TV recommendations right in your inbox Being in a Marvel movie is a departure for Garner, who won three Emmys for her role in the Netflix drama 'Ozark.' But she gets one heck of an entrance: In the retrofuturistic 1960s setting of 'Fantastic Four,' Shalla-Bal arrives in Times Square on a spiffy surfboard to warn that Earth is 'marked for death' and Galactus (Ralph Ineson) is on the way. Since she's the one who identifies the planets that will be her boss' next meal, Shalla-Bal has a 'toxic relationship' with Galactus. 'There's no HR,' Garner quips. However, her connection with Johnny Storm (Joseph Quinn), the Human Torch and youngest Fantastic Four member, is one that's actually meaningful to her. 'She finds him amusing, but she doesn't really want to show him. Secretly, I think she likes the attention.' Garner, 31, who says she puts 'love, rage and secrets' in every role she plays, did a deep dive into Shalla-Bal's comic-book history. In Marvel lore, she was the lover of Norrin Radd, and when he agreed to be Galactus' herald (and the original Silver Surfer) to spare their planet Zenn-La, they were separated. The actress was most surprised by 'actually how tragic her story is. If this was a human, you would be like, it's devastating. So that really resonated with me and helped ground it.' One thing she didn't find going down that geeky rabbit hole: Her character inspiring the 1989 Joe Satriani guitar track 'Back to Shalla-Bal.' In 2007's 'Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer,' Doug Jones played the Radd version of the Surfer. But director Matt Shakman wanted to use Shalla-Bal instead because 'First Steps' was a different universe than fans have seen – it takes place on Earth-828, as opposed to the MCU's Earth-616 – and that choice made for a 'really interesting story line' with Johnny. A lot of attention was paid to how the computer-generated Shalla-Bal would appear. Garner portrayed the Surfer via a motion-capture suit and a helmet with a GoPro-type camera attached, and it was important to Shakman that Shalla-Bal was shiny and 'completely reflective' but still 'emotionally powerful,' he says. Another fun fact: Copper veining was added to the Surfer's facade. 'There's a sense of old weathered metal in places, just this idea that she's been doing this a long time and she's gone through some pretty inhospitable environments. So there's a touch of history to her.' Shakman also hooked Garner up with surfing adviser Tehillah McGuinness to guide her with Shalla-Bal's movement. 'She surfs a neutron star. She surfs a wormhole, she surfs real water, she surfs lava. There's a lot of great ways to make use of her Surfer-ness in the movie,' the director says. With McGuinness' help, Garner learned how to feel comfortable and balanced on the board, 'and not look clumsy, like you're in control,' she adds. Garner, who next stars in the horror film "Weapons" (in theaters Aug 8), found ways to add her own secret sauce to the Silver Surfer. For the opening message to humanity, she studied how T.S. Eliot would read his own poetry. 'It was very eerie in a way but also comforting at the same time,' she says. To get in Shalla-Bal's mindset before takes, she'd listen to spacey '70s krautrock music ('I just imagined that that's what she would be surfing to') and also learned to speak her character's fictional native tongue, Zenn-Lavian. 'It's not as hard as you would think. It's not like learning Japanese or something,' Garner laughs. 'Would I want a monologue in Zenn-Lavian? No. But I can say a few lines.' And while Garner became the Silver Surfer, she hasn't tried out her newfound board skills in real life. Nor will she. 'The water that I enjoy is that kiddie water that doesn't have any sort of wave,' she says with a smile. 'I'm quite scared of waves.'

Jessica Alba and Danny Ramirez drive off together after dinner date in LA

Jessica Alba looked smitten after a dinner date with her rumored new beau, Danny Ramirez, in Los Angeles Wednesday night. In photos obtained by Page Six, the pair were spotted leaving the Italian restaurant Alba. The duo were seen chatting and laughing as Ramirez drove them home. Earlier this month, it was revealed that Alba, 44, and the 'Last Of Us' star, 32, had a casual relationship and were 'not exclusive,' but these cozy pics seemingly paint a different picture. Plus, an insider told the Daily Mail on Wednesday that their relationship has taken a 'surprising turn.' 'What started out as a summer fling feels like it's getting more serious, although she still wants to take things slow,' the source told the outlet. 'But at the end of the day Jessica has never been one to play the field. She's excited to see where this romance is headed,' they concluded. The 'Fantastic Four' actress was first linked to Ramirez in May when they were spotted kissing in London, but his identity was not revealed at the time. Even after the duo packed on the PDA, sources insisted that the 'Honey' actress was just having 'a lot of fun' spending time with her girlfriends and 'being more spontaneous.' 'She's embracing all the attention she's getting,' an insider told Us Weekly at the time. Her mystery man was revealed to be the 'Captain America' star in July when they were seen headed from Cancún, Mexico, to Los Angeles after a romantic getaway. Shortly after the 'Top Gun: Maverick' actor was identified, insiders told Daily Mail that their relationship was noncommittal and Alba 'is not in that frame of mind' for something serious after her split from estranged husband Cash Warren. The insider added that Ramirez is 'enamored with her' and that he 'has a chance to make something out of their connection.' The 'Sin City' actress and Warren, 46, were married for nearly 17 years and share three kids together: daughters Honor and Haven and son Hayes. The 'Honest Company' co-founder announced their split in January 2025 with an emotional Instagram post. 'I've been on a journey of self realization and transformation for years – both as an individual and in partnership with Cash,' she wrote. 'I'm proud of how we've grown in our marriage over the last 20 years and it's now time for us to embark on a new chapter of growth and evolution as individuals. 'We are moving forward with love, kindness and respect for each other and will forever be a family. Our children remain our highest priority and we request privacy at this time,' Alba concluded. The estranged pair, who have not finalized their divorce yet, proved they are on good terms, however, when they reunited for a family Easter celebration in May. Solve the daily Crossword
