PSV find fellow Bundesliga alternative for Bayern Munich goalkeeper
According to Voetbal International, German sources have reported that Bayer Leverkusen's Czech international, Matej Kovar (25), is the new intended goalkeeping reinforcement, now that negotiations with Bayern Munich are going badly.

According to Sky Germany, PSV and Bayer Leverkusen are already in talks about Kovar. For the Eindhoven side, it was initially intended that Daniel Peretz would come in as Nick Olij's competitor on loan, but there has been little progress in those negotiations for some time. Sources suggest that this has to do with Bayern's 'high demands'.
It was believed that PSV had a verbal agreement with Peretz for some time, yet the negotiations for a loan with an option to buy have proved unsuccessful.
While PSV have yet to comment on their interest in Kovar, VI are predicting a permanent offer for the 13-time Czech international, especially after Erik ten Hag brought in Mark Flekken from Brentford.
The 6 ft 5 Kovar was picked up at a young age by Manchester United, who later loaned him to Swindon Town, Burton Albion and Sparta Prague. Under Ten Hag, he left the club for Bayer Leverkusen. In Germany, he became the second goalkeeper behind Lukas Hradecky and appeared a total of 32 times in all competitions.

🚨 BREAKING: Liverpool 'pulling out' of Isak pursuit after bid rejection
Liverpool FC have reportedly stopped their ambitious pursuit of Swedish striker Alexander Isak after Newcastle United rejected a staggering £110 million bid, according to BBC Sport and reporter Ben Jacobs. The Merseyside club tabled the offer without add-ons, making it one of the most significant transfer bids in their recent history. However, Newcastle's firm stance on keeping their star forward has brought negotiations to a dead end. According to Jacobs, personal terms with Isak were not an obstacle — suggesting that the 25-year-old striker was open to the move — but the Magpies' unwillingness to negotiate made further talks redundant. With their top target now off the table and the Premier League season just weeks away, Liverpool are likely to turn to alternatives. However, the Reds will still be boosted by the earlier summer arrivals of Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike Newcastle United's hardline approach will be seen as a statement. Backed by deep financial resources and aiming to build on their Champions League ambitions, the Magpies are evidently determined to retain their best players — even in the face of record-breaking offers. 📸 George Wood - 2025 Getty Images

Revealed – Sell-On Fee Atalanta Must Pay RB Leipzig For Inter Milan Target
Atalanta must pay a sell-on fee of 15% to RB Leipzig if they sell Ademola Lookman to Inter Milan. This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews. This is likely to be the decisive day in Inter Milan's pursuit of Ademola Lookman. The Nerazzurri made their second offer for the Nigerian international earlier this week. They upped their bid from €40 million to €42 million plus €3 million in add-ons. Atalanta have not yet given Inter a formal response. But they will give the Nerazzurri their answer today. Atalanta Must Pay RB Leipzig A 15% Sell-On Fee If They Sell Ademola Lookman TURIN, ITALY – MARCH 09: Ademola Lookman of Atalanta celebrates scoring his team's fourth goal during the Serie A match between Juventus and Atalanta at the Allianz Stadium on March 09, 2025 in Turin, Italy. (Photo by) A complicating factor in the negotiations is that Atalanta must pay a portion of any fee they receive for Lookman to his former club RB Leipzig. SportMediaset report that this would be equal to 15% of the fee for the Nigerian's sale. That would be a not inconsiderable portion of the total fee. Therefore, Atalanta have an extra incentive not to go too low with the fee that they accept for Lookman. Therefore, this could hold things up and cause the Bergamo club not to accept Inter's most recent offer for the 27-year-old.
