Extremely Hot Weather Prevails across Egypt on Monday, Cairo 36°C

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) has announced the continuation of rising temperatures across most parts of the country today, Monday, June 9, 2025.
Extremely hot weather is expected during the day in most regions, with relatively warm conditions along the northern coasts and moderate temperatures at night and in the early morning.
The authority also warned of potential morning fog forming between 4:00 AM and 8:00 AM, which may be dense at times.
This fog is expected to affect areas of the Nile Delta, the northern coasts, central Sinai, and the Suez Canal cities.
Here are the expected high and low temperatures for key cities across Egypt:

Get ready to sweat—hot weather will prevail in Egypt during daytime across most regions, from Monday through Saturday. According to the Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA), temperatures are firmly shifting into summer mode following the Eid Al-Adha holiday, with hotter-than-usual conditions expected across much of the country. From Monday through Saturday, Greater Cairo and the Nile Delta are bracing for highs of 36°C on Monday, climbing to 37°C for the rest of the week. Nighttime lows will offer slight relief, hovering around 23°C. Along the northern coast, conditions will be slightly milder, with highs bouncing between 29°C and 27°C. Nighttime lows will dip to 19–20°C. The heat will intensify in northern Upper Egypt, with highs expected to range from 36°C to 38°C, while nighttime temperatures are expected to ease to between 22°C and 24°C.
