The Bayfront Convention Center and the Warner Theatre both had their most successful year to date.
'One of the things that we've implemented starting last year was a much more aggressive marketing strategy. You'll see digital billboards out, we started that last year,' said Gus Pine, executive director of Erie Events. 'We're really looking to grow our ticket buyers, but particularly with younger audiences because they search for activities in all different areas.'
One of the venues Erie Events is adding to their list this year and beyond is Liberty Park, in partnership with the Port Authority.
Their first concert out there is May 7, followed by 8 Great Tuesdays.
