Kyra Sedgwick recalls shooting 'emotional' scene with Kevin Bacon
Kyra Sedgwick felt "emotional" while shooting a break-up scene with Kevin Bacon for The Best You Can.
The loved-up couple - who have been married for 36 years - star in the new rom-com movie, and Kyra admits that one scene proved to be particularly difficult to shoot.
Kyra, 59, said at the Tribeca Festival in New York: "There was a moment in the break-up scene where I could not — I was very emotional. I knew [my character] would be emotional, but I had a little crossover of like, 'Oh my God, what if this had happened [in real life]?'
"Instead of what happened, which is that we're still together, but 'What if this had happened?' And I got very emotional about it."
Kevin recently admitted that he relished the experience of working with his wife.
The 66-year-old actor told People: "As soon as you get into a into a scene, you have a responsibility to your partner to make that scene work, and we've had a partnership for 37 years.
"To be able to take some of that time that we've had together and put it up on the screen is just really fun."
Meanwhile, Kevin revealed earlier this year that he's tried to shield his children from fame.
The Hollywood star - who has son Travis, 35, and daughter Sosie, 33, with his wife - never took his kids to movie premieres during their younger years and he's always tried to shield them from the pressures of fame.
Speaking on Mythical Kitchen's 'Last Meals', Kevin shared: "We really avoided it. I think we really felt like it would be nice for them to have some … we knew how weird this life was.
"When you realise that you will always … that there's always a chance that you're gonna walk out of the house and somebody is going to know who you are or look at you or have some kind of point of you about you from a piece of work that you've done, you start to go, 'Okay, it's great. This is what I always wanted, but it's a weird way to live. 99 percent good, but a little weird.'"

Bryan Cranston has revealed Erik Per Sullivan won't be joining the Malcolm in the Middle reboot because he studying for a master's degree at Harvard. The Breaking Bad star played frazzled dad Hal in the 2000s show with Christopher Masterson, Justin Berfield, Frankie Muniz and Erik playing his four sons and they are all returning for a revival of the series with the exception of Erik - who played youngest boy Dewey. Now Bryan has revealed the former child star, who is now 33, won't be returning because he's busy with his studies and hasn't acted since he was a child. During an appearance on the 'Fly on the Wall' podcast, Bryan explained: "I talked to Erik and I said: 'Hey, we got the show! It's gonna come back.' "He goes: 'Oh, that's fantastic!' And I go: 'Yeah, so we're looking forward to having you back.' He goes: 'Oh, no, no, I don't want to do it. But it's fantastic that you are'." He added of Erik's decision: "He's actually going to Harvard,. He's really, really smart, and I think he's getting his master's at Harvard right now. He said: 'Oh God, no, I haven't acted since I was nine or something. So I'm not into it'." The role of Dewey has been recast with Caleb Ellsworth-Clark taking over from Erik. Bryan went on to admit it's surreal to see his young co-stars grow up as they are now all around the same age he was when he started working on Malcolm in the Middle. He addeD: "It's amazing how these boys - who were my boys on that show - are now around the same age I was when we first started. They've got children of their own." The show originally ran from 2000 until 2006 and Bryan previously revealed he's relished the experience of playing Hal once again. He told People: "Slipping back into that character of Hal for me was so rewarding - I missed him. "It's been almost 20 years since we said goodbye. And he's a sweet, lovable man. He's really a lovable guy, and it was fun to see all my whole family back together. It was great." He went on to explain how his on-screen costume has helped him to get back into character. Bryan explained: "It's a short-sleeve shirt that Hal would wear, a patterned short-sleeve shirt that screams out he's not going anywhere."

Mark Ronson and RAYE drop jazzy new song Suzanne
Mark Ronson and RAYE have shared the track Suzanne after wanting to work together "for years". The Uptown Funk hitmaker and the Worth It singer came to hit the studio after both working as brand ambassadors for watchmaker Audemars Piguet, with the collaboration being part of its APxMusic series. Superstar DJ and producer Ronson said: 'I've admired RAYE's artistry for years now, watching her evolution from songwriter to the powerhouse artist she's become. When Audemars Piguet brought us together through their APxMusic programme, it felt like the stars aligning at exactly the right moment. 'This collaboration isn't just another project – it's something we've poured ourselves into completely…all night tracking sessions in London, New York and Los Angeles. The music we've created together carries both our musical DNA but takes us somewhere neither of us would have reached alone." The song is named after the Swiss luxury watch brand's founder, Suzanne Audemars. RAYE added: 'Everything about how this song came to exist, and this moment with Mark and AP, feels meant to be. RAYE also provided an update on her follow-up to 2023's My 21st Century Blues LP - which won British Album of the Year at the 2024 BRIT Awards - after she suffered a setback when her car was stolen with both the original songbooks from her debut record and her only copy of notes and ideas for the new record inside. She said: "I don't have an album title. "I'm like, 'What is it gonna be called?' It's stressing me out right now, I can't lie, because I've got the music starting to really come there. Eric Dane vows ALS won't be 'the end' for him
Eric Dane doesn't feel his ALS diagnosis means "the end". The 52-year-old actor announced in April that he is battling the incurable degenerative condition - which is formally known as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and impacts the nervous system and causes muscle paralysis - but he is trying to be optimistic, even though there is no escaping the reality of his health issues. In a teaser clip for an interview with Diane Sawyer which will air on Good Morning America on Monday (16.06.25), he said: 'I wake up every day and I'm immediately reminded that this is happening. It's not a dream.' At another point in the brief footage, he added: 'I don't think this is the end of my story. I don't feel like this is the end of me." At the end of the trailer, Diane asked Eric who his first call was after he received his diagnosis, causing him to grow tearful and bow his head, with the clip stopping before his answer. The former Grey's Anatomy star - who has Billie, 15, and Georgia, 13, with wife Rebecca Gayheart - has continued to work on Euphoria since his diagnosis. Announcing the news in April, Eric told People magazine: "I have been diagnosed with ALS. I am grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this next chapter. "I feel fortunate that I am able to continue working and am looking forward to returning to set of 'Euphoria' next week. I kindly ask that you give my family and I privacy during this time." ALS is also known as Lou Gehrig's disease - after the baseball player of the same name who was diagnosed with the condition in 1939 - and is the most common form of motor neurone disease. The average survival time after diagnosis is three years, but some ALS patients with a slow-progressing form of the disease can live much longer. Physicist Stephen Hawking was diagnosed with the condition at the age of 21 and he lived until he was 76. Eric and Rebecca married in Las Vegas in 2005 but the 53-year-old actress filed for divorce back in 2018. However, she filed paperwork in March to have the petition dismissed. Shortly before Eric went public with his health crisis, Rebecca insisted they are closer than ever. Speaking to E! News, she explained: "We are best of friends. We are really close. "We are great co-parents. I think it's important to not look at a relationship that ends as a failure. It's just a season. It wasn't a failure. It was a huge success. "We were married for, I mean, we are still married, but together for 15 years, and we had two beautiful kids so I think that's a successful relationship, and that's how we look at it."
