This is expected to eliminate ~$70 million in future interest payments over the remaining life of the loan. Consequently, BioCryst projects to end 2027 with ~$700 million in cash and no term debt, representing an increase of $400 million compared to its previous net cash guidance for 2027. The acquisition by Neopharmed Gentili also involves taking over BioCryst's European organization, which is expected to result in at least $50 million in annual operating expense savings for BioCryst.
BioCryst Pharmaceutical Inc. (NASDAQ:BCRX) is a biotechnology company that develops oral small-molecule and injectable protein therapeutics to treat rare diseases. Neopharmed Gentili is a pharmaceutical company founded in Italy.

Goodwin Insiders Added UK£433.5k Of Stock To Their Holdings
When a single insider purchases stock, it is typically not a major deal. However, when multiple insiders purchase stock, like in Goodwin PLC's (LON:GDWN) instance, it's good news for shareholders. Although we don't think shareholders should simply follow insider transactions, we would consider it foolish to ignore insider transactions altogether. Trump has pledged to "unleash" American oil and gas and these 15 US stocks have developments that are poised to benefit. Goodwin Insider Transactions Over The Last Year The insider John Goodwin made the biggest insider purchase in the last 12 months. That single transaction was for UK£283k worth of shares at a price of UK£70.30 each. Although we like to see insider buying, we note that this large purchase was at significantly below the recent price of UK£95.20. Because the shares were purchased at a lower price, this particular buy doesn't tell us much about how insiders feel about the current share price. In the last twelve months insiders purchased 6.47k shares for UK£434k. On the other hand they divested 970.00 shares, for UK£58k. Overall, Goodwin insiders were net buyers during the last year. The chart below shows insider transactions (by companies and individuals) over the last year. If you click on the chart, you can see all the individual transactions, including the share price, individual, and the date! See our latest analysis for Goodwin There are always plenty of stocks that insiders are buying. If investing in lesser known companies is your style, you could take a look at this free list of companies. (Hint: insiders have been buying them). Insider Ownership Of Goodwin Looking at the total insider shareholdings in a company can help to inform your view of whether they are well aligned with common shareholders. Usually, the higher the insider ownership, the more likely it is that insiders will be incentivised to build the company for the long term. Goodwin insiders own 11% of the company, currently worth about UK£77m based on the recent share price. I like to see this level of insider ownership, because it increases the chances that management are thinking about the best interests of shareholders. So What Do The Goodwin Insider Transactions Indicate? The fact that there have been no Goodwin insider transactions recently certainly doesn't bother us. But insiders have shown more of an appetite for the stock, over the last year. Overall we don't see anything to make us think Goodwin insiders are doubting the company, and they do own shares. I like to dive deeper into how a company has performed in the past. You can access this interactive graph of past earnings, revenue and cash flow for free. Newcastle officially FAIL to stop star joining Liverpool
Newcastle United have failed to stop one star from joining Liverpool this summer. They did all they Newcastle United have not had the transfer window they hoped for. The Magpies qualified for the UEFA Champions League, after all, and are a wealthy club - it should be fairly routine. Instead, they've consistently missed out on targets. Part of that is certain clubs, like Manchester United, dramatically altering the market with their business. Shop the LFC Store 🚨2025/26 LFC x adidas range🚨 LFC x adidas Shop the home range today! Newcastle wanted to sign Ekitiké to replace Callum Wilson and pushed to agree a fee. Then the Reds waltzed in and snapped him up. They turned their attention to Benjamin Sesko and then lost out to Man United after a long, long saga. And all of this with Alexander Isak kicking up a fuss in the background. But it turns out that Ekitiké isn't actually the only player Newcastle have missed out on to Liverpool. There's now a second. Newcastle wanted Giovanni Leoni Paul Joyce in The Times writes that Newcastle did make a push to sign Giovanni Leoni before he agreed a move to Liverpool. They went as far as bidding to Parma for the talented teenager. But Leoni picked Liverpool, much as Ekitiké did. A difference-maker was the fact the Reds were able to show a clear path to the first-team. And there's certainly that. Ibrahima Konate's contract expires in a year, while Virgil van Dijk is now 34. Leoni simply needs to keep developing at the level he has been and there's a regular starting role just waiting for him. This, however, will be a massive blow to Newcastle once again. They just haven't had their way in this window whatsoever and it might actually get worse. Isak remains eager to leave and Liverpool remain eager to buy. Newcastle have two more weeks to make a massive decision - and it could well see yet another star heading to Merseyside over Tyneside.
