Around 11 hours of CCTV footage taken from inside the Metropolitan Correctional Centre in New York City on August 9 and 10 2019 has been publicly revealed for the first time, amide a probe into his death.
Following his arrest on multiple charges, including sex trafficking, he was found unresponsive in his cell early in the morning of August 10 and was later declared dead in hospital.
Coroners at the time ruled he had committed suicide by hanging, and now an FBI and Department of Justice (DoJ) investigation into his death has concluded the same.
The footage, released as part of the investigation, appears to shows the orange-clad paedophile being led to his cells by a guard and being trailed by a second one at 7.49pm on the night of August 9.
The trio were apparently seen walking across common area as the move to Epstein's cell in the video, released to US news site Axios.
The DoJ said that while the footage doesn't show his cell door, it would capture anyone moving to it.
And other than the guards leaving, no one else walks to or from Epstein's cell.
The joint investigation has concluded that Epstein was not murdered, nor did he blackmail powerful figures or keep a 'client list.'
The well-connected financier and Maxwell kept a wide circle of friends from fellow billionaires to politicians like Trump and Clinton, and entertainment icons.
The memo from the FBI and DOJ announced that no one involved in the Epstein case will follow former right-hand woman Ghislaine Maxwell to prison, as no further charges will be filed.
Epstein's death led to several conspiracy theories and a general hunger for knowledge regarding his crimes.
In May, the FBI's deputy director Dan Bongino confirmed the footage was set to be released, following a campaign pledge by US president Donald Trump.
The issue of Epstein's death has charged many in Trump's sphere.
In March, his attorney general Pam Bondi released hundreds of pages detailing information connected to Epstein, claiming to have disclosed 'a lot of names' and flight logs that would 'make you sick.'
The first wave of documents have largely been circulating in the public domain for years and so far are yet to include any new bombshells, leading to great disappointment from the public.
'What you're going to see, hopefully tomorrow, is a lot of flight logs, a lot of names, a lot of information,' Bondi previewed on Fox.
'But, it's pretty sick what that man did, along with his co-defendant,' referring to Ghislaine Maxwell.
The officially declassified material included flight logs, Epstein's infamous contact book, an evidence list and a masseuse list in ten different links posted to the Department of Justice website.
The contact list, which has previously circulated in various forms, shows redacted information for dozens of the Hollywood, political and fashion elite and was purportedly compiled by Epstein and his longtime confidante Maxwell. Personal contact information was redacted throughout the list.
FBI Director Kash Patel had been a skeptic of the official findings behind Epstein's death, however, he told Joe Rogan that since he'd taken over the bureau, he hadn't found 'what you want,' which he described as 'some guy or gal committing felonies.'
'If I had it, I'd be the first guy to bring this case hard and fast,' Patel claimed.
He added that his team at the FBI has viewed everything they have been given lawful access to from the infamous island.
Epstein's 'pedo island' aka Little Saint James in the US Virgin Islands was a focal point of his horrific child-sex-trafficking operation.
It has long been believed that Epstein hosted a wide array of rich and famous clients at the island.
Patel said that the bureau is doing the best that they can and encouraged anyone with information to get in touch.
'I got here 100 days ago. I can't be held to account for 20 years of failures,' he said.
Though Patel claimed that his FBI will 'give you everything we can' he does have some boundaries set around Epstein's victims.
'Remember, we're not gonna' re-victimize women. We're not gonna' put that s*** back out there. It's not happening because then, he wins.'

Forged signatures listed on New York City mayor's re-election campaign petition
More than 50 signatures on New York mayor Eric Adams' petition to run as an independent candidate in November's election are fraudulent, according to a report published on Friday. The Gothamist said it had found 52 signatures from people who said their names were forged, including signatures of three people who turned out to be dead. The publication cited others who said they were deceived into signing the petitions. The discovery, if confirmed, is likely to be insignificant to Adams' independent campaign, which is required to produce 7,500 signatures to qualify him as a candidate. The Adams campaign has turned in nearly 50,000 signatures. Still, the finding adds complexity to a race to lead the nation's largest city that pits the incumbent mayor against Democratic party nominee Zohran Mamdani, former New York governor Andrew Cuomo, Republican candidate Curtis Sliwa and ex-prosecutor Jim Walden. Cuomo and Walden, like Adams, are running as independents. Flaws in the petition system to gain access to the ballot are likely to be tested in the future as candidates look for ways to circumvent the ranked-choice primary system, the publication said. Candidates typically employ outside contractors to harvest signatures. In the case of Adams' petition operation, the irregularities were attributed to at least nine workers who together submitted more than 5,000 signatures. A single campaign worker collected more than 700 signatures on a single day, the outlet said, adding that some appeared to be submitted in 'strikingly similar handwriting among many residents in a single building'. The Adam's campaign did not immediately respond to request for comment. But earlier it had told the Gothamist it expected the companies it hired to follow the law, and it would conduct its own review of the signatures. An attorney for Adams said the mayor did not direct anyone to break the law and that his campaign would 'determine whether any corrective action is warranted'. Veteran election law attorney Jerry Goldfeder told the publication it is not uncommon for invalid signatures to be collected. ' Every now and again, somebody tries to cut corners, and they're generally caught and sometimes those cases are referred to the district attorney or the US attorney, and there are prosecutions,' Goldfeder said. The report comes amid heightened tensions in the city after a gunman killed four people in a midtown office building on Monday, including off-duty New York City police officer Didarul Islam, Blackstone executive Wesley LePatner, security guard Aland Etienne and property manager Julia Hyman. Mystery of missing man deepens as his Tesla Cybertruck is found abandoned at the Grand Canyon
A Cybertruck belonging to a New Jersey man who vanished in Grand Canyon National Park has been found abandoned near a treacherous hiking trail. The eerie discovery is elevating fears for the whereabouts of Thomas Gibbs, 35, who was last heard from around noon on July 22. Gibbs was reported missing by his family on July 28, the same day rangers discovered his vehicle near the canyon's remote South Rim. Investigators believe Gibbs may have attempted the treacherous Grandview Trail, a notoriously difficult path that descends sharply into the canyon toward Horseshoe Mesa. The trail is described by the National Park Service (NPS) as, 'rugged, narrow and steep,' with sheer drop–offs and extreme heat – recommended only for 'experienced desert hikers'. The search for Gibbs is unfolding as a 'megafire' rages across the Grand Canyon's North Rim, officials said. The Dragon Bravo Fire, sparked by lightning on July 4, has scorched more than 105,000 acres, making it the largest wildfire in the U.S. so far this year. Man allegedly hijacks transport cart at Buffalo airport and destroys moving walkways
A man commandeered a transportation cart at New York's Buffalo Niagara international airport and destroyed moving walkways with it at the facility, according to authorities investigating the unusual incident. Kevin J Sinning, 29, of Wyoming, faces charges of second-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, criminal nuisance, third-degree grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property worth more than $3,000 after his arrest at about 1am on 28 July, the Niagara frontier transportation authority police department said. The police department said that Sinning was 'visibly intoxicated' at the time of his arrest, NBC News reported. In video footage circulated on social media, Sinning was evidently recorded slowly driving the cart up and down the hallways of the airport. One clip showed damage to metal beams on one of the airport's moving walkways. A different clip showed the cart being driven down another moving walkway that was too small for the vehicle. The vehicle crushed metal and shattered glass along the walkway. A TikTok video of the joyride attributed to Sinning generated more than 9m views as well as more than 450,000 likes. Sinning declined to comment on Friday, according to NBC.
