New Eagles Super Bowl ring includes engraved Brazilian flag
Engraved on the inside is a Brazilian flag. It commemorates the fact that the road to Super Bowl LIX began in São Paulo, with a 34-29 win over the Packers.
The team has posted a full explanation of all details of the ring, from the 18 green stones reflecting the total victories on the season to the 10 points of diamonds in the Super Bowl LIX logo that reflect a 10-game winning streak to 0.9 carats of diamonds on the expandable wings in honor of the six sacks and three turnovers from Super Bowl LIX.
The creativity exhibited by the details in Super Bowl rings is impressive. But, alas, the Eagles had no reason for a reference along the lines of the 283 diamonds that showed up in the Patriots' Super Bowl LI rings.

Sean McVay reveals what Matthew Stafford's workouts are, from 'static throwing' to walking
Here's what Stafford has been up to while sidelined from Rams practice As the Los Angeles Rams wrap up training camp and the preseason approaches, quarterback Matthew Stafford remains sidelined from practice due to back soreness. While the veteran quarterback, who is gearing up for his 17th season, continues to stay active in a controlled but individualized capacity, Stafford will not take part in Monday's jog through, according to head coach Sean McVay, and will instead have a separate workout session. McVay was asked Sunday what's involved in Stafford's individual workouts and while he deferred to head trainer Reggie Scott for specifics, he did shed some light on what the quarterback has been doing. 'It's really just static throwing," McVay said. "It's some of the unloaded running on the treadmill. Sometimes it might even be walking. He's able to do a little bit of lighter cardio and able to do some good core work. But it's more just functional strength surrounding the area while making sure that you don't do anything to set yourself back based on the trajectory that he's doing. But we are looking forward to getting him and easing him back into football hopefully in the near future.' The team continues to emphasize the health of its Pro Bowl quarterback by taking cautious measures, focusing on strengthening the right areas without pushing the 37-year-old too hard. Los Angeles hopes to have Stafford as healthy as possible and on track for its season opener on September 7 at home against the Houston Texans. Stafford has been a focal point of the Rams' offense since he arrived in 2021 via trade, helping guide the team to a Super Bowl title in his inaugural season and back-to-back playoff appearances over the past two years. The Rams will hold their first joint practice with the Dallas Cowboys on August 5, followed by a preseason matchup between the two teams on August 9. Earlier this weekend, McVay wasn't too optimistic about his quarterback's chances for this week against a live opponent. 'The Cowboys, no,' McVay said Saturday. 'The Cowboys, I would say that's less than likely. With the Chargers, and I know I'm probably irritating you guys, but it truly is a week-to-week thing and what I don't want to do is set a timeline. I know he's making good progress, saw Dr. Watkins again today. Everything is in good shape. But to answer your question, the Cowboys is a no and then we'll see about the Chargers.' While no timeline has been set for his return, the Rams continue to play it safe as the season approaches.

Liverpool 'increasingly likely' to move for Real Madrid star as Luis Diaz transfer exit nears
Diaz nearing Liverpool exit Reds backed to move for Madrid star Also targeting Newcastle's Isak Follow GOAL on WhatsApp! 🟢📱 WHAT HAPPENED? According to Marca, via Sport Witness, Liverpool are not ruling out making a move for Madrid winger Rodrygo after Diaz agreed to join Bayern. The report adds that it is 'increasingly likely' that Arne Slot's side make advances to sign the Brazil international but other players could be involved in negotiations. THE BIGGER PICTURE After Liverpool sold Trent Alexander-Arnold to Madrid, the report adds that the two teams could negotiate for Rodrygo to head to Anfield but Reds centre-back Ibrahima Konate could go the other way - with his contract set to expire next summer. This comes at a time when the Merseyside outfit are keen on recruiting Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak as their extraordinary summer spending looks set to continue. DID YOU KNOW? Rodrygo, 24, is said to be earning up to €10 million net per year, which is putting off teams such as Chelsea, among others. The Brazilian, who has scored 68 goals and added 51 assists in 270 games for Los Blancos to date, may struggle for game time next term but his wage demands could scupper a move elsewhere. WHAT NEXT? With Xabi Alonso's side returning to pre-season training next week, Rodrygo is said to still be waiting to sort out his Madrid future. He could, however, hold talks with the club once he returns to training, so a Los Blancos stay may not be ruled out.
