More Palestinians Die of Hunger in Gaza Due to Israeli Blockade
Rabat – Gaza's Health Ministry has said that five people, including two children, died from famine and malnutrition in the past 24 hours. This brings the total number of hunger-related deaths in Gaza since October 7, 2023, to 227, including 103 children. Among the victims was a six-year-old boy, Jamal Fadi al-Najjar, who died from a hunger-related illness in the southern city of Khan Younis, according to the Nasser Medical Complex. The Health Ministry also confirmed the death of 30-year-old Wissam Abu Mohsen from malnutrition, as reported by Nasser Hospital. His death was announced shortly after the ministry's latest figures on famine-related casualties. This makes him the sixth victim to die from malnutrition in the past 24 hours.
