You can follow all the build-up and action as it happens from this game, Roma-Athletic Club and Panathinaikos-Fiorentina on the Liveblog.
The second leg is at the Stadio Olimpico next Thursday evening.
The Aquile topped the table in the league phase and were therefore top seeds in the draw, while they are fresh off a thrilling 2-1 Serie A victory over Milan.
That was sealed with a last-gasp Pedro penalty won by Isaksen, and they both start tonight with Noslin taking over as centre-forward.
Taty Castellanos, Mattia Zaccagni, Elseid Hysaj and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru did not make the trip to Plzen.
Viktoria are not to be under-estimated, as they eliminated Ferencvaros in the play-offs, losing 1-0 away before a 3-0 home victory.
They also beat Real Sociedad, Anderlecht and Dynamo Kyiv in the group phase, drawing 3-3 away to Eintracht Frankfurt.
Christophe Kabongo is out with a knee injury, but they have veteran former Udinese and Watford striker Matej Vydra and impressive creative midfielder Pavel Sulc.
Viktoria Plzen: Jedlicka; Dweh, Markovic, Jemelka; Memic, Kalvach, Cerv, Cadu; Sulc; Vydra, Durosinmi
Lazio: Provedel; Marusic, Gigot, Romagnoli, Tavares; Guendouzi, Rovella; Isaksen, Dia, Pedro; Noslin

Tottenham contact Brentford as they look to appoint Thomas Frank as new manager

Tottenham contact Brentford as they look to appoint Thomas Frank as new manager Tottenham Hotspur are close to appointing Brentford's Thomas Frank as their new head coach. According to The Athletic, the Lilywhites have made contact with Brentford for the 51-year-old, and hope to reach an agreement in the next 48 hours. Advertisement Frank is reportedly ready to succeed Ange Postecoglou, who was dismissed from his position on Friday after remaining two seasons in charge. The two clubs are said to have a healthy relationship and talks will centre on the cost of releasing the Danish boss as well as the backroom staff, which is expected to be around £10 million. Tottenham endured a disappointing 2024-25 Premier League campaign under Postecoglou, losing 22 of their 38 matches to finish 17th in the table. But the Australian boss secured them Champions League football for next season by leading them to Europa League success, beating Manchester United in the final in Bilbao. Advertisement That suggested that Postecoglou would continue as Spurs' manager, but the club chairman Daniel Levy made the brutal decision to sack him, which reportedly angered many of their players. Now Tottenham appear to be on the verge of signing Frank, who has done an excellent job at Brentford since becoming their head coach in 2018. He led the Bees to Premier League promotion in 2021 after beating Swansea City in the Championship play-off final. The West Londoners have since become an established side in the English top-flight under Frank, securing 13th, ninth, 16th and 10th-placed finishes. He has certainly overperformed at Brentford but doesn't have the experience of managing a top club like Tottenham, who will be playing in Champions League next season. Stats from Transfermarkt

Inter Milan Proclaims 'We're Proud' To Make Cristian Chivu Coach – Adds 'Our Goals Are The Same As Ever' Beppe Marotta says Inter Milan are 'proud' to name Cristian Chivu as coach, and that his arrival doesn't change the Nerazzurri's goals. Speaking to reporters, via FCInterNews, the Inter President gave his thoughts after the Romanian was officially appointed as the club's new coach. Advertisement Inter Milan have officially confirmed the appointment of Cristian Chivu as their new coach. The Nerazzurri had already decided upon the 44-year-old to replace Simone Inzaghi a few days ago. On Thursday, Inter chose Chivu, concluding a search of a couple days. This search had seen them try for Cesc Fabregas, and also reportedly consider Patrick Vieira. However, in the end, Inter went with Treble-winning former defender Chivu. They called the Romanian, and he agreed to step up. Chivu spent six years as a Nerazzurri player before hanging up his boots. Chivu won the European Treble of the Serie A title, the Champions League, and the Coppa Italia with Inter in the 2009-10 season. Marotta continued that 'I believe modern football clubs must cultivate this connection.' 'Because within this character, there are a lot of positive values.' The Inter President insisted the club are 'satisfied and happy' with their choice to appoint Chivu. And as far as Inter's objectives next season as ever, Marotta said they're 'the same ones as ever.' Advertisement 'The history of Inter says this is the case. Inter participate in competitions to win. Then if someone's better than us, as happened last season, we'll take our hats off to them.' 'However, we have to remember that reaching the top isn't easy,' Marotta stressed. 'Not everyone has reached that far in recent years.'

Botafogo To Seal Transfer Of Out-Of-Contract Inter Milan Star In Time For FIFA Club World Cup

Botafogo To Seal Transfer Of Out-Of-Contract Inter Milan Star In Time For FIFA Club World Cup Botafogo are ready to seal the transfer of Joaquin Correa from Inter Milan in time for the FIFA Club World Cup. This according to Sky Sport Italia transfer market expert Gianluca Di Marzio. He reported on air, via FCInterNews, that everything is in place for the 30-year-old to make the move. Advertisement Joaquin Correa has come to a four-year stint at Inter Milan. The Argentine joined the Nerazzurri from Lazio in the summer of 2021. Correa joined right at the end of the transfer window. He made an immediate impact, coming off the bench to score a match-winning brace in a 3-1 win away to Hellas Verona. However after that, Correa's performances for Inter were deeply underwhelming. (Photo by) In the summer of 2023, after two disappointing seasons at the club, Inter loaned Correa out to Marseille. However, the Argentine's form was little better for the Ligue 1 club than it had been at the San Siro. Advertisement Correa returned to Inter last summer. And despite numerous links away, he ended up seeing out his contract at the club. Correa scored two goals and made two assists across twelve appearances in Serie A in his final season at the Nerazzurri. Technically speaking, Correa's contract with Inter runs out at the end of June. But the Nerazzurri will release him a few weeks early from his deal. This will allow the former Lazio and Sevilla forward to join Brazilian club Botafogo. Gianluca Di Marzio reports that the Brazilian giants will be able to complete the signing of Correa before the pre-Club World Cup transfer window closes. Therefore, the Argentine can be a part of Botafogo's squad for that tournament.
