The midfield trio are so important to the way PSG play and their full backs Hakimi and Mendes are the x-factor and will aim to get forward as much as possible.

All of the marquee players have played a key role in getting Inter Miami to the last 16 with Messi curling in a free kick to win against Porto, Luis Suarez scoring a beauty against Palmeiras and Sergio Busquets so solid in midfield. Javier Mascherano's side have only lost one of their last eight games in all competitions and after a slow start to the 2025 season things are starting to come together. If they can keep improving defensively we know they have the talents to hurt any team in the world in a single moment. Nobody expects them to beat PSG so they have absolutely nothing to lose.

The New York Red Bulls are engaged in talks over a move for RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner. But after falling out of favour at Red Bull Arena, he joined Tottenham on loan in January 2024. That loan was then extended by a further year, during which Werner was part of the Spurs team that won the Europa League under Ange Postecoglou. Last season saw the Red Bulls reach MLS Cup for the first time since 2008, falling to fellow founding member LA Galaxy. This winter the club signed Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, who has been the team's starting striker. Werner projects to fit in nicely on the left of the forward line, with Scotland international Lewis Morgan on the right and Forsberg pulling the strings beneath. At the midpoint of the 2025 season, New York sits 7th in the Eastern Conference, narrowly in the playoff places. Real Madrid star forward Kylian Mbappé is suing his former club Paris Saint-Germain for moral harassment over his tense exit from the club in 2024. The Paris prosecutor's office confirmed the legal filing on Thursday, per the Associated Press. This follows Mbappé's legal team saying in April it would take action against PSG. The French star claims the club owes him €55 million ($61 million) in unpaid wages, and Mbappé also expressed dissatisfaction over how the club treated him in his final season.
