Gangers OTT Release: Sundar C and Vadivelu have finally arrived in theatres with their much-anticipated Tamil actioner today (April 24). Written and directed by Sundar himself alongside Avni Cinemax and Benzz Media (P) Ltd. as the producers, the comedy has also locked its OTT deal. According to OTTPlay, Gangers will be streaming on Prime Video after its theatrical run concludes.

Gangers' plot overview
A gang of misfits, led by Sundar C, plans a big heist to steal ₹100 crore in black money hidden by three powerful brothers who control a small town. At the same time, a schoolgirl goes missing, and a teacher (Catherine Tresa) tries to find her. A cop is sent undercover to the school to investigate. The movie mixes comedy, action, and typical twists, like a good guy turning out to be the villain, funny side characters (like Vadivelu), and plenty of chaos.

The Times of India rated the movie 2.5 out of 5, and a part of their review read, 'Coming to the heist itself, it isn't as wacky as what we got in the underrated and often overlooked 144, another semi-rural heist comedy, but there are enough elements — Vadivelu's numerous looks, the mini missions before the final heist, the clever use of Madha Gaja Raja — to keep us entertained, and at least make us not leave the theatre with regret.'

Thug Life Box Office Collection Day 2: Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam's latest film, Thug Life, released at the silver screen on Thursday after days of controversy. On the opening day, Thug Life's Tamil screenings dominated its earning. According to film industry Sacnilk, superstar Kamal Haasan's latest film garnered an estimated ₹ 4.4 crore India net on its second day for all languages. With this, the total estimated earning of the movie now stands at ₹ 19.9 crore. Apart from this, the movie had an overall 26.54 percent Tamil Occupancy on Friday, an overall 4.80% Hindi Occupancy and 14.30% Telugu Occupancy for 2D version. Looking into the details, Kamal Haasan's movie had earned a total of ₹ 40 crore worldwide on opening day. It includes ₹ 15.5 crore (India net) and ₹ 22 crore from overseas.
