City Of Manila, June 24 (UNI) An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.5 jolted east of the Philippine Islands at 01:58:08 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 7.97 degrees north latitude and 129.83 degrees east longitude.

Manila, June 24 (UNI) An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.4 hit waters off southeastern Philippines on Tuesday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said. Rain likely in almost all districts of Madhya Pradesh
Bhopal, Jun 20 (UNI) The southwest monsoon has now covered all districts of Madhya Pradesh, bringing cloudy skies and rain to the entire state, India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Friday. The monsoon entered the state a few days earlier than usual, specifically in the Burhanpur and adjoining districts, and has now spread across the state, the IMD bulletin read. Rainfall was recorded at various places in Bhopal, Rewa, Jabalpur, and Sagar divisions, with some areas in Narmadapuram and Ujjain divisions receiving more widespread showers during the past 24 hours. The Chambal, Gwalior, and Shahdol divisions also experienced significant rainfall, while other divisions remained relatively dry. The onset of the monsoon has led to a drop in day and night temperatures by 3-5 degrees Celsius. Rainfall was recorded in several areas, including Kathiwada, Alirajpur, Ater, Pansemal, Tirla, Umrwan, Jobat, Gwalior, Morena, Pithampur, and others. IMD has forecast cloudy skies with rain at many places in several districts, including Bhopal, Vidisha, Raisen, Sehore, Rajgarh, Narmadapuram, Betul, Harda, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Barwani, Dhar, Indore, Ratlam, Ujjain, Dewas, Shajapur, Agar, Datia, and others, over the next 24 hours. A red alert has been issued for heavy rainfall in Alirajpur, Jhabua, Ratlam, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Anuppur, Shahdol, Umaria, Dindori, and Sagar districts, with strong winds expected in these areas, the IMD said.
